Die besten 5-Sterne-Hotels in Stresa

This is a very grand hotel and has grandeur in spades from first sight. This is carried on in to the the reception and lounge areas which ooze Bel Epoque glamour. We spent four days here in June 23 and really enjoyed our stay. The outside pool area which has recently been upgraded and the spa facilities really are the best we have ever encountered. Breakfast in the morning was excellent although the variety of fresh fruit was limited and the bread is a bit dull but there was plenty of choice so you won't go hungry. All the staff we met were very efficient and friendly. Our room was 218 and was very pleasant but the bathroom must now be 30 years old and a big omission is a stand-up shower. Instead there is a jacuzzi bath which looks a bit downmarket and I think went out of fashion in the 80's! I would sacrifice a basin for a proper shower. I also think the outside bar (or inside) should have draught beer available - I walked up to the top of Mottarone (it's a good three hour walk BTW) and was able to have this from the tiniest cafe on the top so it should really be available in a 5 star hotel. Lastly if you choose to have dinner in the hotel - it is very good but I wouldn't opt for the fish soup. If you do stay here, we would definitely recommend the trip to the islands which are fascinating. Thank you Hotel des Iles Baroness.

Tolles Hotel in bester Lage. Besonders hervorheben muss ich freundliches Personal und unsere wunderschöne Suite mit atemberaubenden Seeblick. Die Suite beinhaltet alles was man braucht, einziger Minuspunkt, man hört die Nachbarn nebenan. Wofür ich mich besonders bedanken möchte ist die Hundenfreundlichkeit. Bei unserem Ankunft war alles perfekt für unsere Hunde vorbereitet s. Fotos. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat war der Frühstück. Zu kleiner Auswahl, das kenne ich in IT in 5 Sternen Hotels anders. Wenig Auswahl beim Gebäck, frischen Säften, Obst und und... Wir haben einmal am Abend im Restaurant gesessen und waren mit allen recht zufrieden. Sehr schade ist, dass der Pool recht klein ist und am Wochenende, wenn man nicht frühzeitig Liege reserviert, keine Chance mehr hat am Pool zu liegen. Der Liegebereich am See ist dafür ein Traum. Boottaxi funktioniert einwandfrei, man wird für 90 Euro zu und um die Inseln gefahren, überpünktlich steht der Kapitän parat. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze für Gäste. Fazit, für uns gelungene Tage und durchaus empfehlenswert.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and a highlight of our trip in the northern lake regions of Italy. We had to leave the Lake Como region as we were only able to find one night for an acceptable hotel there (i.e. clean and not run down), so we drove on to Lago Maggiore hoping our newly booked hotel would be as wonderful as the pictures showed. We ended up staying two nights and we were very sad to leave onto the next portion of our trip! To put it into perspective we came from a Hilton to this hotel and while the Hilton was impressive, there was something more pleasing and charming here. It is a completely new hotel along Lago Maggiore. Having finished construction in late August/early September, they had almost no wear and tear in the hotel. It is also ideal as it is located close to a ferry location, no more than 10 minute walk. This made it ideal for visiting the other islands around the lake. Their downstairs dinning room for breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about the chef or the professionalism of the staff. The knowledge of their maître d' taught us so much not only about the different food and wines, but the history and culture of this beautiful Italian city. They have a roof top area for lunch and I do recommend you use it as the view is spectacular. It is a relaxing way to spend the evening. Also, as it is located right along the lake, there is a long access of walkway just on the other side of the street to stroll and enjoy the views of not only the lake but some of the islands you may visit. A good consideration when having to walk off the excess meals you are sure to delight in! If you are in the norther lake region, do make Stresa a planned stop. I believe you will enjoy it much more than Lake Como as it is far enough from Milan so that it does not suffer as much from traffic congestion as Lake Como. And if you are staying in Stresa, look no further than here.

Das Frühstück ist großartig! Die Bahnhofsbahnhöfe sind 300 Meter. Die andere Seite ist der See. Das Wasserbad ist sehr gut! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und stellen viele Attraktionen vor! Das Wasserseeraum ist großartig

Ausgezeichnete Position

We had a triple corner room (with 2 balconies) which was very spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed in,bathroom had a bath and separate walk in shower. Staff all very helpful and friendly with good English. Ample selection at buffet breakfast, continental and bacon and scrambled egg available. Very clean in all areas. Great location, across from the lake, near the ferry station, lots of restaurants and little shops nearby. Double glazing kept the room quiet from street sounds. Others have commented on lack of soundproofing but we had no problem, once or twice heard next doors shower running but only when in our bathroom. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to Lago Maggiore. We were in room 104, in the Stresa part of the hotel.

Was für eine tolle Erfahrung! Es sah aus, als wäre das ganze Hotel sehr kürzlich renoviert worden. Das Personal war professionell und freundlich. Das Zimmer mit atemberaubender Aussicht auf den Maggiore See war kompakt, aber sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool mit integriertem Jacuzzi war spotless. Das Restaurant hatte Aussicht auf den See von allen Tischen. Es gab eine sehr gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln und die Kellner waren besonders hilfreich Sadin, der Ihnen nicht genug helfen konnte. Er war aufmerksam, freundlich und effizient. Das Hotel war eine sehr kurze Spaziergang von der Stadt und den Wassertaxis. Wir hatten eine tägliche Reise am See zu nahe gelegenen Inseln und auf der anderen Seite des Sees. Die nahe gelegenen Gärten waren außergewöhnlich! Das Hotel war gut gelegen, komfortabel und sehr gut eingerichtet. Wir würden sicher zurückkehren.

Es ist ein großes altes Hotel, obwohl gut unterhalten mit modernen komfortablen Zimmern. Die Betten waren gut. Es gibt ein Innen- und Außenpool. Das grassige Gebiet in der Nähe des Pools ist ein toller Ort, um sich an den See und auf Isola Bella zu setzen und zu beobachten. Der Service war sehr gut. Nur das Essen war das Problem. Wir waren hier als Teil einer Gruppe und hatten einen halben Tisch. Das Frühstück war ok, aber das Abendessen war sehr spät. Meist nicht so gut, ein paar gute Mahlzeiten. Vermeiden Sie den Fisch, immer überkocht. Wenn Sie nicht an eine Gruppe gebunden sind, gehen Sie zum Abendessen in die Stadt.

Ich habe einige Tage in diesem Hotel mit meiner Familie verbracht, und ich war sofort von der Schönheit der Umgebung betroffen, für die großen, sehr gepflegten Räume, sowohl außerhalb als auch inne: Sie hat uns einen Garten mit einem grünen Gras und scharfen Bäumen, Und es kam ein sehr nettes persönliches Treffen, das uns die Gepäckstücke ins Zimmer brachte und uns den Parkplatz des Hotels zeigte. Innerhalb der Innenräume sind schöne, elegante Zimmer mit frischem Pflanzen und Blumen, und ein helles Essen, dank der Wände aller Glas, auf den Garten. Auf der letzten Etage ist eine große Terrasse, von der Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf den See und seine Inseln genießen. Hinter der ist ein schönes Pool, das im Frühjahr noch nicht erholbar ist, aber im Sommer sicherlich einen angenehmen Kühlschrank bietet. Wir haben uns geschlagen und auch von den Mitarbeitern des Zimmers (Wir haben die Halbpensionsbehandlung) zur Verfügung gestellt, die bereit sind, den Bedürfnissen meiner Enkelkinder im Alter von einem und fünf Jahren gerecht zu werden. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, nahe dem Zentrum und dem Längensee, und vor allem zwei Schritte von der Abfahrt der Fähren zu den Inseln. Das heißt, sehr empfehlenswert!!!!

Das Zimmer war sauber und er schien kürzlich renoviert, die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, der Frühstücksservice war effizient und alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und sprachen eine Vielzahl von Sprachen, speziell Französisch und Englisch, aber ich glaube auch, dass ich sie Deutsch sprechen hörte. Wir reservierten das Restaurant Al Storno, das vom Hotel als separates Restaurant betrieben wird und es war sehr gut - sehr empfohlen. Unlieblich · Die Badewanneinrichtungen waren renoviert, speziell der Dusche-Kubik-Rahmen hatte Korrosion um die Metallgelee und nicht leicht geschlossen oder geöffnet, und die Wandbefestigungen für die Dusche Kopf und Haartrockner waren schlecht abgeschlossen - fehlende Aufmerksamkeit zu Details. Einige der Lichtschalter im Zimmer funktionierten nicht, aber das war kein Problem für uns TB.
