Arctic Divide Lodge

I stayed in a Kitchenette, the room was large and clean, the kitchen was great. The staff were also really great. Will definitely stay there again. Located right off the highway and close to all amenities Dease Lake has to offer. Will definitely stay here again.

This beautiful log house is clean, quiet and comfortable. Restaurants in the area was closed we went in off season. It is Close to gas station and grocery store, the common kitchen area had just what is needed. Check in and out was seamless. I highly recommend a stay here.

The facility and rooms are Cozy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Friendly and helpful management. We've been staying here every time we drive south for the past 10 years and i always sleep great here. Comfortable bed and pillows. I wish all hotels and motels were this nice.

The check in/check out process was easy. Room was nice, affordable, and comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for, showing up late in the evening after dark. I was driving from Smithers, BC to Whitehorse, YT, Arctic Divide was the perfect place to break up the trip.

Room was great, bathroom and kitchen were clean and spacious. The check in experience was very easy. The coffee/espresso in the morning was awesome. I was travelling through for business and will be doing so more in the future. Will definitely be staying here again.

After a very long drive (down from Alaska highway ) we found the absolut best accomandation here with the Arctic devine after many other stays we had along our way. First of all very clean, beautiful rooms, great pillows and beds, everything so tastful and cozy. Then all the love for details wich made our stay so very pleasant. Best Coffee we had since we left Germany. We made ourselfs Pizza (from the store near by) in the little kitchen as well as breakfast. We were told the owners have changed lot's have been done. So yes and yes again we would stay here next time . Good Job guys we would have been happy to find more place like yours.

We stayed in 24 different properties during August 2023 on a driving trip from Minnesota to Alaska. Our primary criteria for evaluating a lodging property include cleanliness, sleep quality, price given the season, ease of luggage transfer and use, and wireless speed and security. Other plusses would include location and view, breakfasts, and availability of restaurants close by. We don’t watch TV so can’t tell you about the quality of service. Any that I rate a 4 is one I would definitely choose to stay in again. Arctic Divide Lodge has very comfortable rooms and beds and well-equipped bathrooms. There are a couple of common areas in the building where you can cook and eat meals and sit with other guests and talk. Our room was on the second floor and, to my knowledge, there is no elevator, although the stairs are easy to navigate. I stayed here in 2022 and rated it a 5. I’d do the same again for the lodging itself, but Dease Lake is a food desert, and a property that has rates equal to Arctic Divide Lodge should bear some responsibility for its guests eating needs. This is an issue that will become increasingly important to lodging hosts in more remote locations since my experience suggests that hospitality workers are increasingly difficult to recruit and retain.

An awesome beautiful lodge in a remote area. They have many options, a duplex cabin, string of rooms, and rooms in the lodge itself. We had room 4 because it had a stand alone shower instead bathtub shower combo, a bonus it also had a kitchen. Not sure how many rooms contain a kitchen but if it’s important to you, request room 4 or the room just inside the door. The folks running it were very professional and nice, told us the places in the area to eat were closed due to it being Labor Day saving us a trip out. Not only would we stay here again if driving thru, but are thinking of making a trip just to stay here again. I saw they were a 2022 Trip Advisor winner and it shows! If you are looking at a trip in the Dease lake area, you do not need to look for a place to stay, just book a stay here.
