Zleep Hotel Køge

Das Zimmer roch seltsam und man konnte Leute aus den anderen Zimmern und auf dem Flur hören.... Ich hatte eine schlechte Nacht.

In 30 years of travel this is without a doubt the most horrible hotel experience we have ever had. 250 euro per night for a tiny tacky room with worn out furniture and extremely noisy. Coffee and tea even need to be purchased at the bar. Staff rude snd not interested. We will never come back here and never recommend anyone else to go here either. Zleeps rates itself as a 3 star hotel. It does not even qualify for 1 star.

Our 2-week pre-booked room was cancelled upon arrival at the front desk because the room had become "unusable" the night before. We were glad about this, because we would not have wanted to spend 1 night in this depressing place. If you like sleeping in a musty, smoky room, right next to a noisy railroad track, facing a wall, and heavy industry and a prison around the corner, I can heartily recommend the Zleep Hotel in Køge.

Upon arrival at 2:00 PM, we noticed that the tables in the reception area, where breakfast is also served, were dirty. Our room was not ready upon arrival, and we were told it would be ready within 5 minutes. However, after waiting for 40 minutes and inquiring about it, the room was finally made available. During the wait, we observed how disorganized everything was. Several guests were also waiting for their rooms, and we overheard the receptionist telling the person in charge of cleaning that they needed to prepare some rooms, to which they responded that they still believed there were guests in the rooms. When we arrived for breakfast at 10:00 AM, there were very few guests, and we were puzzled to see the receptionist wiping beer glasses and putting them away, as all the tables at breakfast were dirty, even though she passed by them several times while going to the kitchen to refill the buffet. Unfortunately, it seemed that the staff were not attentive to their tasks. Upon leaving the hotel, we were instructed to leave our key cards in a box by the exit without any form of registration or check-out, meaning that the staff had no knowledge of whether we had left the hotel and whether the rooms were ready for cleaning before the next guests arrived. It is poorly organized overall, and it's not solely the fault of the staff. This will be our last stay at Zleep - there is a lack of planning and practical knowledge on how to run a business.

Nice hotel, Good breakfast, good beds, the bathroom good use a renovation, housekeeping could clean a little better. But overall I had a good nightsleep and the personel is very friendly, I checked in late and I had to do it via a computer, but that easy.

Completely worn down hotel. The entrance is a construction site. Pick anything else in Køge than this hotel. You even pay DKK for a breakfast where they don't even bother to arrange things in nice way - you basically pick things out of the refrigerator.
