CColinBeautifully restored heritage building in the center of old Riga. The classic feature of the original architecture have been preserved and complimented with a modern interior design with clean Nordic style. Rooms have a foldout sofa bed, great for families. Breakfast is simple but high quality ingredients and attentive staff. Recommend the fresh croissants and salmon and raspberry smoothies. Location in center of old town on a charming street just close enough to great restaurants and bars but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

GGuest UserEin außergewöhnliches Gebäude ; eines der architektonisch beeindruckendsten Hotels, in denen ich mich erinnern kann, wo ich wohnen, mit wunderbar hilfsbereitem Personal und einer Lage, die nicht besser werden kann -- mit einem lobenswerten Frühstück. Fünf Sterne ! Aber dann . . .
Schön konfigurierte und ausgestattete Zimmer, aber, die Einschränkungen auf städtische Gebäude, was sie sind, und die Architekten, die einen erstaunlichen zentralen Skylit Luft- und Licht-well gewählt haben, unser Zimmer zumindest hatte kein Fenster. Wo war man schließlich zu platzieren ? Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, aber wirklich frische Luft war nicht verfügbar.
Das Hausbetreiber hatte das Badezimmer, das dem Zimmer beigefügt war, vernachlässigt. Haare, ein Baumwoll-geprägter Applikatorstick und -- einfach -- Schmutz waren auf den Fliesen. Dies kann passieren. Es war sehr anders als der Rest der Erfahrung des Aufenthalts. Aber da war es.
Schauen Sie sich um, wenn Sie sich anmelden. Werden Sie sich für eine Wiederholung der Reinigung Ihres Zimmers, wenn Sie denken, dass eine notwendig ist. Genießen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt.

SSearakaiEin Vier- bis Fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig Nur ca. 2 Gehminuten vom Hoteleingang entfernt gibt es kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte im Laden, und der Lieferservice ist sehr praktisch. Sie können direkt im Bolt bestellen und sich die Lebensmittel oder Lebensmittel liefern lassen An der Zimmertür gibt es eine unabhängige Heizung und Kühlung, so dass Sie die Temperatur selbst bestimmen können.

SSka525Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

GGastnutzerI recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a room with an old town view, which was truly stunning. Additionally, they offered us complimentary spa entrance after checkout, which was a delightful bonus.
The room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, situated on the 19th floor with an amazing view. The spa was also impressive—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.

GGastnutzerThe hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on.
We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues.
The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later.
There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

Our room very clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and the room very cosy. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

Leider war das Personal eher unfreundlich, was den Aufenthalt etwas getrübt hat. Zudem war der Verleih von Strandtüchern nicht möglich, und es gab zusätzliche Kosten für den Wellnessbereich, die nicht im Preis enthalten waren. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

My stay felt like a comedy of errors where I was the punchline. First, the breakfast saga: I pre-paid for my breakfast at check-in. Yet, every single morning, the restaurant staff looked at me like a breakfast bandit trying to sneak a free croissant. “Room number? Is breakfast included?” Cue me, once again, explaining my pre-paid status like I was telling a fascinating but unlikely story. I half expected them to ask for a signed affidavit from the front desk manager by day three.
Then there was the Pool Surprise™. The website features the pool, but conveniently forgets to mention it costs extra. At check-in, I asked, ”Where's the pool?” They pointed. They did not, however, point and say, ”...and that'll be $20, please.”
So, picture this: I'm there in my swim trunks, towel slung over my shoulder, ready for a dip. I get greeted not with a ”hello,” but with a request for my credit card. I had to do the walk of shame back through the lobby, damp and disappointed, to pay at the front desk. A simple heads-up would have saved us all from that awkward little parade!
The place itself is nice, but honestly, it seems like the different departments only communicate by carrier pigeon. And I'm pretty sure one of those pigeons got lost.
Pros: The room was good (if a bit tired), and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Be prepared for a mystery fee adventure and to repeatedly prove you've paid for things you've already paid for.
