Das Hotel war ideal von der freundlichen Rezeption am Ankunft am Frühstück am nächsten Morgen. Das Zimmer war unverschämt, nicht neu und glänzend, aber geschmackvoll mit gut gepflegten Geräten, Ausstattung und Möbeln dekoriert. Alle Grundstücke, Bett, Dusche, Toilette und Badewanne funktionierten und fertig gemacht superbly. Betten, Decken, Blätter und Kissen waren gefriergetrocknet, schrecklich, und die Matratze war sehr komfortabel. Viel Platz, Eisen und Brett, Haartrockner und Kühlschrank. Spotlessly clean. Der Frühstücksservice war ungewöhnlich effizient für ein großes Hotel. Sie wussten genau, wie man mit einem besetzten Frühstücksservice umgehen kann. Buffet für Getränke und kalte Gegenstände, Service für Cooked. Das gesamte schottische Frühstück hielt mich den ganzen Tag zu gehen. Wird sicher wieder in dieses Hotel.

Ein charmantes Boutique-Hotel in bester Lage nahe der Buchanan Street, mit Zimmern mit Blick auf den George Square. Wir wohnten in einem Studio mit Balkon im 7. Stock, das eine tolle Aussicht bot, aber etwas unpraktisch war, da der einzige Aufzug an drei von fünf Tagen unseres Aufenthalts außer Betrieb war. Das Zimmer war für ein Hotelzimmer im Stadtzentrum geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man in der Küchenzeile braucht, viel Stauraum, hochwertiger Bettwäsche und Handtüchern, hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten und einem geräumigen Badezimmer mit einer schön gefliesten Dusche. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und haben gut mit uns kommuniziert, als die Golftasche meines Mannes, die wir einige Tage vor unserer Ankunft aus den USA verschickt hatten, an der Rezeption aufbewahrt wurde. Der Parkplatz ist ein gutes Stück entfernt, und es gibt keine gute Möglichkeit zum Be- und Entladen. Wenn man jedoch den Anweisungen der Rezeption folgt, kann man im empfohlenen Parkhaus einen ermäßigten Tagestarif erhalten. Der Shuttlebus vom Flughafen, die U-Bahn und der Bahnhof sind nur wenige Blocks entfernt, sodass Sie definitiv kein Auto benötigen, um sich in der Stadt (und größtenteils auch außerhalb) fortzubewegen. Wir waren von diesem Hotel begeistert, fanden es preislich sehr gut und würden bei einem erneuten Besuch in Glasgow auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was spacious and the beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Seriously- wow. The bathroom was fine and the shower was amazing. Some dust and little dirt here and there but overall ok. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that but did go to the champagne bar and absolutely loved it. The drinks, staff and view- spectacular.The staff at reception were so bubbly too: The only thing I would change would be the coffee in the room as it was terribly weak. Overall great experience.

Decent hotel really central. The rooms are small but you’ve got everything you need and they’re new. Breakfast was grand: my daughter loved the pancake machine. Gym had enough to keep you entertained. Lots of sitting areas downstairs with games: this was nice.

The hotel is nice in its self. The staff were nice. The breakfast was the best bit, plenty choice. Location is good, not to far from central station. Only bad thing was our room stank of cigarette smoke, perhaps this was a smoking room at one point.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Ich hatte das Zimmer mit einem Sofabett, aber sie haben das Bett nicht für uns repariert. Am Ende mussten wir sie bitten, die Blätter zu bekommen. Sonst war es sauber. Voll mit Ausstattung. Frühstück war gut und heißes Frühstück. Wir werden zurückkehren

Das Marriott Hotel hat die Zimmer auf einen guten Standard aktualisiert. Das Bad wurde jedoch nicht aktualisiert und war sehr arm mit verschiedenen Bereichen schmutzig. (Siehe Fotos). Auch der Dusche Bildschirm bedeutete nicht nahe, dass viel Wasser auf den Boden gegossen wurde, wenn eine Dusche. Eine der Badehandtücher im Zimmer hatte ein Loch in ihm. Andere kleine Dinge waren, dass es nur einen Stuhl im Zimmer bedeutet, dass meine Frau auf dem Bett sitzen musste. Auch nur eine Teeschlange im Zimmer. Das ist nicht das, was ich von einem Marriott Hotel erwarten würde!

While I can’t say I fully enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton, that may partly be because we had just come from a really lovely hotel in Aberdeen, so my expectations were quite high, particularly regarding the housekeeping standards, given the hotel’s reputation and heritage. Unfortunately, the cleaning service and general room upkeep felt somewhat lacking during our stay. That said, it was still a good stay overall. The reception staff were fantastic, very professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was decent as well, although we were unable to try many of the buffet options due to personal preferences and faith-based dietary restrictions. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Glasgow.

Wir haben im Weihnachtszeitraum geblieben und neben der Tür war ein Xmas-Markt. Das Hotel ist geräumig und alle notwendigen Einrichtungen, einschließlich Küche und Waschmaschine, sind vorhanden.
