The staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely and really helpful ..I felt really welcomed and especially Fraser, Louise and David always acknowledged me and we're very personable, asking how my stay was. They made my stay comfortable and I appreciated their care. However, I didn't have breakfast at the hotel and I found it so disappointing that there was no kettle, tea or coffee making facilities in the room. For me, this is a minimum comfort requirement if staying in a hotel along with towels, etc. I also found my room slightly clinical with no carpet and no chair, apart from a fold up stool. It felt very basic and the heater was loud and didn't always come on. I think if a kettle was available, with tea and coffee making and at least a rug on the floor, I would have given a better review.

Hatte einen tollen 2-Nacht-Wochen-Wochenurlaub in Holiday Inn Express Theatreland über den Osten Wochenende. Wir hatten uns schon gehalten, so wussten wir, dass es für alles zentrales ist.Hotelzimmer war schön, wie die Mitarbeiter unten waren. Das Frühstück war am Sonntagmorgen heftig, wir saßen im überschüttenden Speisesaal über den Korridor, da das Hauptspeisesaal verpackt war.Das Wetter war nicht groß und erwachte den Ostern am Sonntagmorgen Schnee, aber vor dem Mittag aufgeräumt. 4 Saisons in einem Morgen 😎

Great location, super close to city centre and very convenient. Staff members are always helpful and super friendly. On my final night there was a storm in Scotland and staff was super helpful with trying to see if they can book me for one extra night just in case if trains don’t run the next day :) really happy with the service. Breakfast has good selection! Room is okay, the AC seemed a bit old and broken but still works, temperature in the room is fine!

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

Der Service war im Allgemeinen gut, aber am zweiten letzten Tag meines Aufenthalts, die LED-Lichtstreifen wurden abgestürzt und fiel, einige könnten es als eine Menge sehen, aber es hat mich nicht wirklich stört. Ich war auf einem engen Zeitplan, so meine erste Gelegenheit, sie darüber zu wissen, war, als ich am Ende des Tages zurückkam, zu meiner Überraschung ihre erste Reaktion auf den Front Desk nicht schien zu sein Entschuldigung statt fragte, wann es passiert und Warum habe ich sie nicht früher erfahren lassen. Ich hoffe, das war nicht ein Standardniveau ihres Front Desk Service.

Nice clean hostel with an absolutely amazing shower, hot and powerful no waiting for ages for water to heat up and not the dribble of water you get in some places. The bunks all have curtains which turns them into nice private pods. The price is extremely wallet friendly all in all a nice stay and I will be staying again.

I stayed at Premier Inn George Street severel times and I returned because I was satisfied. I am pkeased to recommend this place, ideal for even an overnight or a complete long weekend journey. Give it a try!

Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, da ich vor einem Vorstellungsgespräch am nächsten Tag früh eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit brauchte. Es ist etwa 12 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt und hat eine gute Lage (es werden Straßenarbeiten und Renovierungen im Hotel durchgeführt, aber das hat uns nicht einmal aufgefallen oder gestört). Ich habe eine schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Easy-Hotel in London Kensington gemacht und bin seitdem etwas skeptisch, wieder bei ihnen zu buchen. Ich habe es gebucht, weil es in letzter Minute günstig war (40 £ für eine Nacht) und eine gute Lage hatte. Meine Mutter und ich waren sehr schockiert, wie geräumig das Zimmer war (wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht) im Vergleich zum Easy-Hotel in London. Das Badezimmer ist immer noch klein, aber das Zimmer ist viel größer und man hat tatsächlich Platz, um sich zu bewegen! Das Personal war freundlich (anders als das Personal in London). Der Nachteil ist, dass es nur ein Kissen gibt, das sehr klein ist, und als ich an der Rezeption nach einem anderen Kissen fragte, wurde mir gesagt, dass sie keines hätten. Es gibt auch keinen Wasserkocher oder Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer. Aber abgesehen davon war es eine viel bessere Erfahrung als erwartet.

Große Lage. Vorher hier geblieben. Personal ist freundlich, aber es ist wirklich in anderen Bereichen abgelassen. Unser Zimmer war schlau. Das Bett war frisch, aber das Desk war klebt, das Teppich sah aus, als ob es in Wochen nicht gehoben worden war und als ich am Telefon neben dem Bett ging, gab es die Reste von jemandems Peperami Snack auf dem Boden liegen. Das Badezimmer hatte einen braunen Pump auf dem Loo Sitz (die wir gereinigt haben!) Und das Loo Stock wurde in langen schwarzen Haaren bedeckt. Ich bin Platinum blond und mein Freund hat lange rote Haare gefärbt ... Wir haben uns die Rezeption erzählt, die uns Frühstück komponieren angeboten, aber wir hatten schon dafür bezahlt, so dass sie nur die Rückmeldung genommen. Wir baten um eine Eisen- und Eisenplatte, und sie waren wirklich schüchtern Geräte. Sie konnten mit einem Upgrade sicher. Oh und während des Frühstücks war die Kaffeemaschine vollständig gebrochen und wurde getrennt ...

Perfect location and friendly staff but with uncomfortable bed:( I hardly believe my bed is actually two bed locked together. It’s extremely uncomfortable to stuck in the gap. It is a bit noisy outside as well. Only recommend to people with limited budget or who needs to catch an early flight.
