To begin with, the hotel owner came out to greet us at the city gate and showed us the way to the hotel. She also offered to drive us to the train station when we were leaving at the end of the stay, which was very nice. All in all, Xuanxuan, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and has made her ancestral home a beautiful hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with bedsheets, duvets and pillows being very comfortable. The bed mattress is a little harder than in other hotels, but I prefer this and for my back pain it was better. The bathroom feels luxurious and is also very clean! The room is spacious and has a little seating area as well which is nice. The hotel and the rooms have a security keypad, making it easy to get in an out, and it feels very safe. The room comes with all sorts of small things, like dental packs, a loofah, slippers etc. The hotel is 50m from the main street, which is fantastic because you're close to everything, yet still tucked away for peace and quiet when you need it. I cannot recommend the hotel enough. It is beautiful, lovely host and great location. 10/10

Tolles Unterkunftserlebnis, die Lage ist sehr gut, es sind nur wenige Gehminuten von Xiaximen zum Gasthof und es liegt auch in der Nähe der Hauptstraße. Die Kinder lieben die Etagenbetten. Das Zimmer ist gut beheizt, mit Fußbodenheizung und zentraler Klimaanlage. Der Gasthof bietet außerdem ein kostenloses Frühstück an. Dazu gehören köstliche Rühreier mit Essig und ein sehr nahrhafter Hirsebrei mit Gojibeeren. Die Besitzerfamilie bietet außerdem an bestimmten Orten das kostenlose Tragen von antiken Kostümen an (nur für das Make-up muss bezahlt werden) und es gibt auch Souvenirs, was sehr herzerwärmend ist. Die Haushälterin ist auch sehr enthusiastisch, stellt Touristenrouten vor und stellt 🈶️ kostenlose Karten zur Verfügung, was wirklich aufmerksam ist. Die Haushälterin ist auch für das Abholen und Bringen am Stadttor verantwortlich. Ich würde es Freunden empfehlen

Der Service war recht gut, es gab einen Shuttle-Service und beim Abschied bekamen wir sogar zwei Flaschen Essig geschenkt. Aber bei Regen sollte man lieber nicht in der Altstadt wohnen, besonders wenn man, wie wir, einen kleinen Hund dabei hat. Der ganze Prozess war wirklich mühsam: Wir mussten im strömenden Regen mit mehreren Koffern zwischen Rezeption und Unterkunft hin- und herlaufen, da diese nicht am selben Ort waren, sondern einige Dutzend Meter voneinander entfernt. Wir waren sowieso komplett durchnässt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Beamer gebucht, dessen Projektionsqualität jedoch nur mäßig war. Das Handy-Screen-Mirroring war zwar möglich, aber die Verbindung war schwierig und es war kein Ersatz für einen richtigen Fernseher. An der Tür gab es eine kleine Undichtigkeit, die schnell behoben werden sollte. Zudem war das Zimmer viel zu klein für Gäste mit viel Gepäck. Als wir unsere drei Koffer geöffnet hatten, gab es praktisch keinen Platz mehr zum Stehen. Auch die Toilette war extrem eng, man stieß fast mit dem Kopf an die Decke.

This is a brand new hotel. Everything works well in the room, and the smart AI assistant is both amusing and practical in controlling room functions. The room furnishings are of good quality. The hotel is an amazing location, as it is just a short walk to the ancient city as well as the You Qian Ping Yao show, which is highly recommended. The hotel staff will book the tickets for you at a slight discount and it is not part of the hotel package, whichl makes it appear to be free. There are many eateries next to the hotel, and there is even a night food street just 100m away, but it was only open during the weekends during my stay in winter. There is also a big supermarket about 300m away, and many bakeries and bubble tea joints. There are plenty of food options.. Most importantly, the owner will fetch you to and fro from the train station. The hotel staff are also very warm and friendly, and will make you feel most welcome. The hotel owner also provided a humidifier, which really provided me much relief from the low humidity Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Very good location. Within the old town and close to many attractions and to the lower west gate where taxis can drop passengers. Very good services from staff. The hotel was converted from an old mansion which is a tourist attraction in itself. Do note that there are steps between the entrance and most rooms. Also, our room was over two floors. While these steps and stairs do not bother us it is something to note.

It was just an absolutely amazing experience from the very beginning and until the very end of our stay, not even just in the hotel, but in the city of Pingyao itself in general. Me and my friend are traveling very light and without guides, and in Pingyao we had only one day: from evening to evening of the next day. Huge huge thanks to everyone who made this day unforgettable and ultimately comfortable for tired us: Alice, Helen, Fenny, Hana, and all others who was there for us. The hotel service is simply excellent: as soon as they learned about our late arrival, they immediately offered to meet us at the railway station, which was absolutely the sweetest thing. They brought us to the city gate, met us there, and walked us to the hotel. There they gave us a map, on which they explained in great detail where everything is, what is worth paying attention to, how it is better to build the route, and what opening hours different sights have. They also helped us organize a private transfer to Shaolin Temple the next morning. It was just perfect: we got there in 15 minutes instead of one and a half hours by foot, and after our walk in the temple they met us and brought us back. Also on the evening of arrival they helped us immediately buy the ticket for visiting all attractions of the city, valid for three days. And also they advised us where to eat, and gave us a hotel discount in both places. We did not regret it even once, the food was amazingly delicious in both places! The hotel itself is just wonderful: it really looks exactly like in the photos. You want to photograph every corner and record how the sparrows are chirping on the roof, and how two wonderful cats are meowing. The room also matches and even exceeds expectations. A huge kang bed, very comfortable. Excellent shower with everything needed. Breakfast is included in the stay: the traditional Chinese one was very tasty! Unfortunately, we did not manage to eat the egg, it was freshly boiled and still hot, but we were hurrying to Shaolin Temple by opening time. Also the hotel has a laundry service, and special thanks for that too! Washing and drying were very fast, and we got our nicely smelling clothes back already after four hours, which was critical for us, because we were leaving the same day. We felt like we really were honored guests, and we really appreciated it, even if only for one day.

Es ist sicher, dass das das beste Hotel in China bislang war (und ich bin in vielen Städten gewesen). Sie bieten einen kostenlosen pickup-Service zum und von der Stadtgate, von wo Sie leicht mit einem Taxi erreichen können (ca. 20 RMB). Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum der alten Stadt, die wirklich die große Vibe, die es gibt. Die Hotelgebäude sind sehr alt, aber in fantastischem Form (wie gestern errichtet). Es fühlt sich wirklich erstaunlich, nur durch den Garten zu Ihrem Zimmer zu gehen. Das gesamte Personal war fließend in Englisch und sehr willkommen und großzügig. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr geräumig und riesig sauber. Es hatte alle Einrichtungen wie Heizung und Kühlung AC, exklusiven WiFi Router. Das Badezimmer hatte zusätzliche Schuhe und sogar einen Haartrockner. Wir hatten frische Zahnbürsten und Zahnpasta. Das Bad ist auch erstaunlich und die Regenschlafkammer hat eine große Temperatur (die für mich wichtig ist, da ich nicht gerne mit dem Wassermixer füttern). Wenn Sie in Pingyao (alte Stadt) bleiben möchten, kann ich diesen Ort ganz herzlich empfehlen und werde es sicherlich für meine nächste Reise nach Pingyao wieder buchen.

Die Lage des Gasthauses ist ruhig mitten im Trubel, nur eine kurze Autofahrt vom Hotel entfernt befindet sich die Fußgängerzone. Die Zimmer sind sauber, ordentlich und komfortabel. Der Chef ist gastfreundlich und nett. Sie können im Innenhof Fotos in jungen Damenoutfits machen✌ Der Schlüssel ist, einen Parkplatz zu reservieren👍 Eine sehr gute Reise

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, sodass man die lebendige Atmosphäre von Pingyao nachts hautnah erleben kann, auch wenn es dort oft sehr voll mit Fotografen ist. Am nächsten Morgen hingegen genießt man die Ruhe und Gelassenheit der Altstadt – perfekt für tolle Fotos. Die Besitzerin war unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sie kontaktierte mich bereits vor meiner Ankunft in Taiyuan, um nach dem Weg nach Pingyao zu fragen. Nachdem ich ihr mitgeteilt hatte, dass ich mit dem Hochgeschwindigkeitszug fahren würde, fügte sie mich auf WeChat hinzu und organisierte einen Transfer vom Bahnhof, nachdem ich meine Fahrkarten gekauft und ihr meine Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt hatte. Ursprünglich gab es keinen Transfer vom Bahnhof, aber sie organisierte ihn für mich am nächsten Tag. Es gab ein kleines Problem, da mein Kind ein paar Sachen vergessen hatte und wir später danach suchen mussten. Die Besitzerin eilte jedoch sofort zum Bahnhof, um uns zu helfen. Ich war sehr zufrieden und kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Absolut erstaunliche Erfahrung und Gastfreundschaft in einem wunderschönen Gästehaus in Pingyao. Die Gastgeber waren die freundlichsten und gastfreundlichsten Gastgeber und halfen uns bei all unseren Bedürfnissen. Das Zimmer war großartig, mit einem riesigen Bett, starkem WLAN und einer guten Dusche. Die Aussicht im Innenhof ist außergewöhnlich und man könnte den ganzen Tag dort bleiben, um die Schönheit zu bewundern. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, in der Nähe aller wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Straßen, aber auch versteckt in einer ruhigen Straße. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber für eine wundervolle Zeit und das Gefühl, zur Familie zu gehören!
