"Das Hotel wird von einem Paar geleitet und beide sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Nachdem Abholen vom Bahnhof hat sich unser Gastgeber extra nochmal mit uns hingesetzt und auf einer Karte möglich interessante Ziele in der Stadt gezeigt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, sauber und befindet sich in einem Hinterhof der perfekt zur restlichen Stadt passt. Gerade zu den Hauptstraßen ist man nur einen kleinen Fußweg entfernt. Auch das Essen ist typisch chinesische und sehr lecker. Der einzige Punkt den man beachten sollte ist das die Toilette direkt gegen die Wand montiert ist, das bedeutet gerade größer Menschen könnten Probleme bekommen sich darauf normal zu setzten"

"Ein perfekter Ausflug nach Pingyao! Wir wohnten in einem charmanten, antiken Innenhof. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, der Service exzellent, die Lage ideal und der Abholservice hervorragend. Das hundert Jahre alte Haus war bemerkenswert gut erhalten und der Ausblick bei Nacht atemberaubend. Meine Familie war begeistert von den eleganten Säckchen, die wir als Abschiedsgeschenk erhielten. Auch das Frühstück war sehr zufriedenstellend. Ich würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten!"

"Eine Erfahrung, die alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat! Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am Eingang zur Altstadt. Der Besitzer hat uns im Voraus kontaktiert und den Parkplatz geschickt. Es gab einen speziellen Shuttle-Service direkt zur Unterkunft. Der Besitzer hat uns geduldig und detailliert die Ausstattung und Nutzung der Zimmer erklärt. An der Rezeption gab es eine handgezeichnete Karte, auf der der Besitzer klassische Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurantempfehlungen markiert hatte. Ich kann diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der noch keine genaue Reiseplanung hat."

"Dieses Hotel bietet das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in der Altstadt von Pingyao und gehört zur Jinjiang-Gruppe! Der Preis ist unglaublich günstig! Nur etwas über 200 RMB inklusive Frühstück! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und begrüßten uns herzlich. Beim Auschecken erhielten wir sogar ein kleines Geschenk – eine Spezialität aus Shanxi, gereiften Essig, und ein paar Snacks. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Kinder waren begeistert. Es gibt einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz. Da wir so positive Erfahrungen im Li Bai Hotel gemacht haben, haben wir es gleich für unsere Reise nach Chengdu wieder gebucht! Ein echter Geheimtipp der Jinjiang-Gruppe!"

"Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber gemütlich. Toll ist, dass es einen Extrawasserhahn für Trinkwasser gibt. Vor allen liegt es in einem alten Haus mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof, in den man bei schönem Wetter auch frühstücken kann, mitten in der Altstadt von Pingyao. Das Frühstück ist einfach und chinesisch (Suppe, Mantou, Ei, etwas Gemüse, kein Getränk). Die Leute vom Hotel haben uns am Schluss sogar noch zum Bahnhof gebracht. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

Every brick and stone tells a story. Every street and alley narrates tales of the past and present. Kang Qian Ji Mansion is located at No. 33, Chang Xiang Street, within the ancient city of Pingyao. It was constructed in 1838 during the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. Currently, it is a county-level cultural heritage site. It was originally the residence of Wang Jin-ting, the manager of the Pingyao Tiancheng Heng Bank’s Hankou branch. Wang Jin-ting (1859–1938), whose full name was Quan Yi and whose courtesy name was Jin-ting, was from the village of Xi Zhang Zhao in Pingyao. In his youth, he worked in the Tiancheng Heng Bank. After the bank’s collapse, he was recommended by Lu Rongting, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, to serve as an assistant manager at the Guangxi Bank. In 1924, Wang Jin-ting purchased the residence at No. 33 Chang Xiang Street in Pingyao’s ancient city, which had originally been a government residence. The courtyard’s floor plan features a pair of phoenixes spreading their wings, with the phoenix facing the grain market and its tail extending over the Helaoxian Bridge, symbolizing vitality and auspiciousness. The courtyard has weathered the passage of time, and with the changes in society, it was acquired by Kang Qian Ji Catering Company in 2025. We uphold the “Deren” principle of the Jin merchants, striving to restore and maintain the original state of the courtyard. The courtyard’s brick carvings of the麒麟 delivering children symbolize the owner’s dedication to preserving the Jin merchant culture and their best wishes for the guests. The wooden carvings of the phoenix and dragon support the pillars, showcasing the courtyard’s grandeur and elegance. Additionally, we have incorporated environmental and humanistic sciences to adopt a modern, luxurious style within the rooms, equipped with smart guest control systems, custom-made bathrooms, and ergonomically designed memory foam bedding and mattresses. The mansion has been transformed into a masterpiece that seamlessly blends ancient craftsmanship with modern technology.
