22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

Fördern Sie jemanden in der Gruppe, der kommt, um Frühstück zu kochen und sauber. Reinigung sollte in einem höheren Maße Priorität haben - die Böden und Badezimmer werden einmal täglich gereinigt. CCharltonFirstly, I'd like to say I was a complete dud because I managed to get my wallet into my bag with my underwear, and I assumed the worst. Nonetheless, I approached the staff on duty and they helped me search the room again and without panic or pressure they were exceptionally helpful.
The staff were wonderful, unfortunately there isn't much information provided for things to do and see. The rating for the cleanliness is based on two factors. One, the shower drain was a bit clogged with old hair, and the shower head mounting was loose and nearly fell off. Cleanliness in this part also just refers to the rooms needing a bit of maintenance upkeep. Although, a major problem was the AC. It is super dirty and dusty. I had to refrain myself from using it, because i know how ACs can hold germs and dust in if they are not cleaned out every 6 months. Especially, when it's in an establishment where different people are coming in and out frequently. So not using the AC I was left dripping in sweat for most of the night.
As for the room, aside from the AC, it was nice. The bed was comfortable for me. The selection of TV in case you feel like just chilling before sleeping was also nice. Netflix, YouTube, and local TV.
The accommodation is in a great location, near to the Sunday market, and near cafes and bars. There is one drawback of staying in this location, and that is the fact that the room is not soundproof and all late night activities come through into the room. Ear plugs recommended.
Overall, it was a good stay for a fair budget experience. I'd stay here again if I'm just looking for a place to lay my head down for a day or two, but long stays will be questionable until they ensure the ACs are frequently cleaned out.

GGastnutzerEs ist ein guter Ort zu bleiben. Personal ist nett und willkommen. Ort sieht gut aus. Klimaanlage funktioniert ok. Nicht unglaublich sauber, aber es ist nicht füllig. Sie haben eine Küche und einen Ort zu sammeln. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Ort empfehlen.

FFabi.Sehr schöne Zimmer, gute Klimaanlage, Dusche mit starkem Wasserstrahl (insbesondere in Thailand selten), trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig im Zimmer.
Hotel hat keinen Aufzug (war aber davor bekannt, wird beim Zimmer bereits darauf hingewiesen). Gepäckaufbewahrung nach Checkout war möglich.
Die Rezeption ist früher und länger besetzt als angegeben - also auch für frühes Aufbrechen mit der Fähre kein Problem.

GGastnutzerThis used to be a quiet and sleepy village with a tourist off-season. Now, it is bustling and packed with tourist signage, restaurants, and shops and seems more crowded. This hotel has a restaurant in the back right on the beach. The food is ok with tourist prices (you can walk down just 100 meters to a great restaurant) but the setting is fantastic. Beware, the path from the street/front of hotel/restaurant goes right past the rooms in a little hallway. Get a room on the 2nd floor if possible.
The rooms are ok and nothing to rave about. It can feel claustrophobic since the only tiny window opens directly to a cement wall and you'd keep the main entrance/sliding doors closed and covered for privacy. It is very dark at night.

XXiaolian2019Wir haben hier tatsächlich fünf Tage am Stück verbracht! Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, und ich hätte gern noch mehr geschrieben! Die Zimmer waren groß, komfortabel und sehr sauber. Der Besitzer ist Chinese, und die Bettwäsche wurde kürzlich erneuert. Der Service war aufmerksam; eines Nachts telefonierte der indische Gast nebenan um 2:30 Uhr lautstark, und der Besitzer antwortete prompt über WeChat! Die Atmosphäre im Gästehaus war sehr gemütlich, mit Eichhörnchen, Katzen und anderen kleinen Tieren! Der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür! Gleich daneben befindet sich ein lokaler Nachtmarkt! Die Essensstände draußen sind ebenfalls günstig und lecker! Ich war begeistert! Und der Preis von 200-300 RMB in der Hochsaison ist wirklich unschlagbar!
