Dies ist ein Schatzhotel, das ich nicht einmal allzu sehr empfehlen möchte. Ich mache mir Sorgen, dass das Hotel immer beliebter wird und es in Zukunft immer schwieriger wird, ein Zimmer zu buchen. Ich hatte vor dem Einzug keine großen Erwartungen, aber nach der Ankunft übertraf alles meine Erwartungen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und komfortabel, mit Bulgari-Accessoires. Man kann den Palast vor dem Fenster sehen. Der Schlüssel ist, dass der Service wirklich gut und rücksichtsvoll ist und alle Servicemitarbeiter freundlich und professionell sind. Nachdem ich eine Nacht geblieben war, ging ich nach Appi zum Skifahren und buchte ohne zu zögern eine weitere Nacht. Das Hotelpersonal stellte mein Gepäck frühzeitig in mein neues Zimmer. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist sehr reichhaltig und auch die Umgebung und Atmosphäre des Frühstücks sind toll. Man muss im Hotel frühstücken.

Ich hatte bei der Buchung ausdrücklich ein ruhiges Zimmer angefragt und fünf Nächte für 6000 Yen pro Nacht gebucht. Das Hotel gab uns ein Zimmer direkt an der U-Bahn-Station! Jede Nacht vor Mitternacht war der Lärm der ein- und ausfahrenden Züge unerträglich, und die ganze Nacht über heulten die Krankenwagensirenen. Um 6 Uhr morgens folgte dann die nächste U-Bahn-Ankunft. Das Zimmer lag zwar in einem der oberen Stockwerke, aber die Aussicht war völlig trostlos – man sah nur eine Reihe niedriger Gebäude und die U-Bahn-Gleise. Ich verstehe wirklich nicht, was das für eine Bevorzugung sein soll! Das Frühstück war unverschämt teuer! Da wir nur zu zweit waren, mussten wir für das Kind ein zusätzliches Frühstück kaufen. In anderen Hotels zahlen Kinder die Hälfte, aber dieses Hotel verlangte über 5000 Yen für ein Kinderfrühstück, und es war jeden Tag dasselbe – mehr als zweimal essen lohnte sich nicht! Kurz gesagt: Bei diesem Preis und diesem Zimmer werde ich nie wieder hier übernachten!

Perfekter Zwischenstopp in Haneda! Ich habe während eines 11-stündigen Zwischenstopps mit meinem Neffen im Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport übernachtet – super praktisch, direkt im Terminal 3 gelegen. Wir waren versehentlich zuerst im Villa Fontaine Grand, aber das Personal hat uns freundlicherweise zum Premier geschickt. ✨ Highlights: Schöne Einrichtung, reibungsloser Check-in und ein Zimmer mit atemberaubendem Flussblick. ♨ Ausstattung: Gemütliche Bar, gute Anbindung an die Geschäfte und den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. 🛁 Zimmer: Sauber, ruhig, stilvoll und super komfortabel. 🍽 Frühstück: Leckeres Buffet mit westlichen und japanischen Speisen. 🛎 Service: Freundliches und professionelles Personal. 💗 Fazit: Eine hervorragende Wahl für einen entspannten und hochwertigen Zwischenstopp. Würde ich definitiv wieder buchen!

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

1. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Bahnhof Tokio, mit Daimaru auf der einen und dem Four Seasons auf der anderen Seite. Der Bahnhof Tokio hat zwei Hauptausgänge: Marunouchi und Yaesu. Wenn Sie vom Flughafen zum Bahnhof Tokio kommen, suchen Sie den Südausgang Yaesu; er ist am nächsten. 2. Für drei Personen waren zwei Zimmer in einem anderen Hotel zu klein, daher entschieden wir uns für das Four Seasons mit einem Zustellbett. Es war toll, mit aufmerksamem und herzlichem Service. Der ältere Herr am Eingang war sehr freundlich. Es gab auch kleine Snacks und Schokolade für die Kinder. 3. Ginza ist nur zehn Gehminuten entfernt, was sehr praktisch ist. Mein Sohn wollte unbedingt den Schreibwarenladen Itoya besuchen…

Fantastisch! Ich habe beim Auschecken versehentlich eine Sonnenbrille im Zimmer vergessen und es erst zu Hause bemerkt. Ich habe sofort das Hotel kontaktiert und noch am selben Tag eine Bestätigung über den verlorenen Gegenstand und den Rücksendeprozess erhalten. Die Abwicklung, einschließlich der Beauftragung eines Drittanbieters durch das Hotel (wegen des internationalen Versands), verlief reibungslos. Heute habe ich das Paket erhalten, der Gegenstand ist unversehrt, und das Hotel hat sogar eine Origami-Figur und einen Dankesbrief beigelegt (eigentlich sollte ICH ihnen danken!). Vielen Dank! Beim nächsten Mal werde ich wieder hier übernachten. Übrigens, das Hotel ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Terminal entfernt, die Zimmer sind geräumig, der Preis ist fair, die Ausstattung ist komplett, es gibt Convenience Stores, Geschäfte und Restaurants in Hülle und Fülle. Die Anbindung an die Stadt ist sehr bequem, mit Keikyu, JR und Bussen, was Sightseeing und Shopping überhaupt nicht beeinträchtigt. Top 👍

Dieses Hotel bietet einen angenehmen Aufenthalt nur einen Steinwurf von Shinjuku entfernt und doch abseits des geschäftigen Herzens des Viertels. Es gibt nahegelegene U-Bahn-Stationen und auch der JR-Bahnhof Shinjuku ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Der Service ist erstklassig, mit außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal, das schnell auf alle Wünsche eingeht. Die Zimmer haben zwar eine anständige Größe, aber die Einzelbetten sind vielleicht nicht jedermanns Geschmack, und ein Doppelbett wäre eine willkommene Ergänzung. Die Einrichtungen sind angemessen, obwohl das Fitnessstudio morgens überfüllt sein kann. Insgesamt war es eine tolle Erfahrung und ich würde dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Es war sehr unerfreulich, dass während der Inspektion im Hotel gesagt wurde, das Hotel würde ab dem Tag meiner Abreise für Wartung geschlossen, so dass ich nicht mein Gepäck nach der Inspektion behalten konnte. Ich habe eine Stunde lang auf der Otemachi Station Münzschranken gesucht und musste 4000 Yen verbringen, um meine Gepäckstücke zu bewahren. Wenn ich das wusste, als ich buchte, dann hätte ich zweimal nachgedacht. Das ist nicht der Service, den ich erwartet hatte, als ich $1,000 pro Nacht zahle.

Das Zimmer ist perfekt für 1-2 Personen. Allerdings kann es nicht genug für 2 große Gepäck sein. Liebe die Onsen Ausstattung und Eiscreme nach Onsen. Google Map empfahl, von Shibuya Station zu gehen, aber von Harajuku Station zu gehen ist einfacher.

I liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.
