Hotels mit Balkon in Tokio

Das war das letzte Hotel, das wir auf unserer Japanreise gebucht haben. Ursprünglich hatten wir nach unserer Rückkehr aus Hokkaido nach Tokio ein günstigeres Hotel gebucht, aber dann haben wir unsere Meinung geändert und uns für ein größeres Zimmer entschieden. Und es hat uns wirklich nicht enttäuscht. Der Bus vom Flughafen Haneda brachte uns direkt vor die Hoteltür, was super praktisch war, und auf dem Rückweg fuhr der Bus uns ebenfalls direkt zum Flughafen. Das Zimmer war riesig, fast genauso groß wie in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel in Deutschland. Das Beste war, dass wir vom Zimmer aus den Berg Fuji sehen konnten – einfach unglaublich! Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Shinjuku und ist trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig. Abends konnten wir vom Zimmer aus auch eine große Lichtshow auf dem gegenüberliegenden Gebäude sehen, was sehr schön war. Beim nächsten Mal in Tokio werden wir das Keio definitiv wieder in Betracht ziehen.

Das war meine erste Buchung in einer Pension in Japan, und es war ein wirklich tolles und gelungenes Erlebnis. Die Buchung über Ctrip und die Option zum Selbst-Check-in machten mich zunächst etwas nervös. Doch die ganze Erfahrung war überraschend stressfrei. Die Pension schickte mir die Check-in-Anleitung und den Zimmercode vorab über Ctrip. Man musste nur den Anweisungen folgen, um einzuchecken und das Zimmer zu betreten. Es war tatsächlich kinderleicht. Das Zimmer war ein großes Standard-Studio mit einem Doppelbett und einem Schlafsofa. Es gab keinen Fernseher, aber einen Beamer. Küche, Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Dusche waren vorhanden – alles viel besser ausgestattet als in Hotels. Kochutensilien, Waschmittel usw. waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Ich blieb drei Nächte, und es wurde nicht geputzt. Auschecken war ganz einfach: Ich musste nur vor 22 Uhr abreisen und die Tür abschließen. Lage: Kinshicho, Kinshicho – diese drei Worte sollte man sich merken! Es ist nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Hier zu wohnen fühlt sich an wie in einem japanischen Viertel. Es gibt diverse Restaurants, und die Preise sind günstig. Ein Yoshinoya ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist hervorragend. Ich bin nach Kamakura gefahren und habe die JO-Linie direkt dorthin genommen. Es gibt eine Direktverbindung zum Flughafen Narita. Um nach Tokyo Disneyland zu gelangen, müssen Sie einmal umsteigen. Sie können Ihre Unterkunft nur einmal verlassen; es gibt keine Gepäckaufbewahrung. Gepäckschließfächer finden Sie in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Kinshicho, direkt gegenüber dem Takoyaki-Laden.

Ein großes Lob an den Herrn an der Rezeption, der ausgezeichnet Englisch sprach und einen tollen Service bot. Als ich am ersten Tag nach einem Zimmer in einer höheren Etage fragte, wurde ich sofort am nächsten Tag in die oberste Etage verlegt. Er hat mir auch beim Umzug meines Gepäcks geholfen. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, man kann den Tokyo Tower sehen, bis man ihn satt hat (das ist jetzt etwas überheblich). Das Zimmer ist auch groß und der Whirlpool ist super luxuriös. Wenn es nicht etwas weit von der U-Bahn-Station entfernt wäre, wäre es die perfekte Wahl für diesen Preis.

A lovely hotel that I would stay at again. I booked the bunk bed, which my roommate and I felt really comfortable in. Staff were quite friendly and most understood/could speak English. It says self check-in on the booking page but there was someone present to help us through the check-in process. Note that there's an accommodation tax (900 yen per person) that needs to be paid on check-in. Since we stayed for more than five days, they did full housekeeping (changing bedsheets) for two out of the eight days. However, they also were able to provide fresh towels and clear trash daily (we just put their provided magnetic notice on the door and left the items at the entryway). Showers were small, but amazing. They provide a day's worth of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an electric kettle, a microwave, plates, utensils, cups, scissors, detergent, and two pairs of room slippers. There was an HDTV (with an HDMI port) that we directly connected to Netflix (no need to logout) as well. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk away from Ryogoku station and 11 mins from Asakusa station. If you have a really physical day or have hefty luggage, then this might feel a bit far, but the area generally feels safe, and you get to cross the bridge over the Sumida river to/from Asakusa, which is nice. Other things to note: There is one shared washing machine for the whole hotel that's free to use, and it takes about 2H per wash and tumble dry cycle. There was no quick wash setting. We had to do ours in the wee hours because other guests were quicker to use them in the ”prime” hours (7-9am and 8pm-12mn). A QR code and/or number code is used to unlock your door's digital lock. It's also used for checkout, so save the sheet of paper they issue. Otherwise, remember to take a picture as there's no service staff after a certain time and they will lock the doors to the entrance where the only way to get in is the issued code. Someone pressed the fire alarm accidentally one morning, which brought the fire department, ambulance and police to the hotel and the alert was deafening and heard neighbourhood-wide. Look carefully before you press/lean on a surface - there's no covering on the alarm button, but it is in the centre of a giant red circle. It was an eventful morning but we did not enjoy running down and climbing up 8-storeys worth of stairs (they shut the elevators in emergencies). Overall, a relaxing, cool vibe that feels clean and cozy.

Despite being so close to a major transport hub, the neighborhood is remarkably quiet and residential. Finding the place was a breeze – clear instructions and a distinctive exterior made it instantly recognizable. 2. Thoughtful, Characterful Interior Design This is no cookie-cutter hostel. The owner has poured genuine creativity into every corner – vintage posters, handmade handpicked furniture, and an artsy blend of retro and modern elements. I booked a single bed this time, but unlike the typical 10-square-meter hotel boxes in Tokyo, my space felt genuinely roomy. I could stretch out, lay open my suitcase, and still have floor space to do morning stretches – a rare luxury for solo travelers. 3. Fully Equipped – With Surprising Extras The amenities go way beyond basics. A full kitchen with cookware, a washing machine. But the real delight? The owner’s personal toy collection scattered around – retro figures, board games, and quirky knickknacks to tinker with. And the crown jewel: a vintage record player with a curated vinyl selection, plus a compact DJ setup. I spent one evening spinning tracks with the host personal collections – an unforgettable Tokyo memory. 4. The Host – Warm, Witty, and Genuinely Sociable The owner is the heart of this place. They greet every guest like an old friend, share honest food recommendations for the local alleyways (I tried three of his tips – all phenomenal), and even bring their little dog down to the common area in some evenings. We’d gather around, sip drinks, chat about life, and laugh at their stories. It’s that rare blend of hospitality and authenticity that you can’t book – it just happens. Who Would Love This Place? Solo adventurers who crave connection but value their own space. Digital nomads needing room to work and relax. Music lovers, design nerds, and anyone tired of sterile hotel chains. If you’re traveling alone in Japan and actually want to make friends – over a shared meal, a vinyl crackle, or a dog’s gentle nudge – this is your spot. Highly, highly recommended.

Ich empfehle ein etwas größeres Zimmer mit mindestens 18–20 Quadratmetern, damit man sich nicht so beengt fühlt. Wir wohnten im 10. Stock und fanden den Platz ausreichend, mit einer Reihe von Sofas und einer Badewanne – ein riesiger Pluspunkt nach unserem Einkaufsbummel! Die Anlage war gut gepflegt und recht neu, und die Sauberkeit war ausgezeichnet. Einziger Nachteil: Es ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof Shinjuku entfernt, obwohl es auf dem Weg dorthin viele Geschäfte gibt. Das Frühstück kostet 2500 Yen pro Person, nichts Besonderes. Erwähnenswert ist jedoch die Baseball-Übungsanlage direkt nebenan. Mein Mann hat sie zum ersten Mal ausprobiert und war begeistert; auch viele ausländische Touristen haben sie getestet und hatten riesigen Spaß daran.

Centurion Hotel Ueno was a complete disappointment, falling short of basic hospitality standards. The deception started right at check-in: the room was explicitly advertised and booked as a ”Casual Double Bed,” but what we actually received was a cramped single bed. This blatant misrepresentation immediately compromised the comfort of our stay. The lack of care extended into the bathroom, which was a major letdown. The sink and shower area were marred by very bad, visible marks that made the entire space feel neglected and unhygienic. For a hotel that positions itself in a convenient location like Ueno, the absolute disregard for accurate room descriptions and rigorous housekeeping is unacceptable.

Lage: In Maruyama-cho, Shibuya, nur wenige Schritte vom pulsierenden Bahnhof Shibuya entfernt. Preis: Der Buchungszeitraum umfasste die Goldene Woche, und zu diesem Preis findet man in ganz Shibuya keine vergleichbare Unterkunft. Betten: Perfekt für chinesische Gäste, geräumiger als ein typisches japanisches Schlafsaalbett, mit USB-Anschlüssen und Steckdosen – kein Problem beim Aufladen. (Das Bild zeigt die Zimmergröße ohne Bettbezug.) Für eine Übernachtung ist die Dusche einwandfrei.

Sehr bequem mit der U-Bahn-Station direkt unten gelegen. Bushalter bis Asakusa und Ueno usw. sind auch unten oder in der Nähe von Fußgänger. Es ist auch ein kurzer und angenehmer Spaziergang bis zum Tokyo Sky Tree. Auch sehr responsiv zur Behebung von WiFi-Anbindungsproblemen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen guten und nützlichen Aufenthalt.
