My stay at Lohkah Isle was magical. From the moment I booked, the team made me feel genuinely cared for. No detail was too big, no gesture was too small. Every request was attended to with such warmth, kindness, and incredible promptness. A special thank you to Isak, Leo, Yuki, and Harlan. You are the heart and soul of this beautiful hotel. Isak welcomed us personally at the pier when we arrived at Gulangyu, and to my surprise, he was also the one who escorted us all the way back to Xiamen at the end of our stay — taking the ferry with us and helping us with all our luggage. He prepared mosquito repellent and medicine before our tour, wet wipes before we depart, always on hand with umbrella for us to beat the heat. That level of care is rare and deeply touching. All the butlers were very sincere and passionate. We have no words. We feel truly blessed to meet all of them. The property itself was immaculate — serene, elegant, and as uniquely charming as a Lohkah hotel can be. Lohkah remains my favourite hotel brand in China, not because of the architecture alone, but because of the people who bring these beautiful spaces to life. I will never forget the sweetness of this team: preparing a lovely tiramisu cake for my birthday, picking us up from a tea store when we got lost on the island, and accompanying us to the most beautiful sunset spots in Gulangyu. They made us feel less like guests and more like dear friends visiting from afar. Isak, Yuki, Leo, and Harlan — thank you for making our stay so remarkable, lovely, and unforgettable. Thank you for crafting memories that we will cherish for years to come. I wish all of you the very best. Please keep doing what you do so beautifully. As per my previous review, this hotel is the best Crowne plaza i have stayed at and one of the best hotels i have found in China. Without repeating my previous review, the rooms are new and excellent quality, the facilities perfect and the staff are exceptional - always friendly and amenable. Special mention for the housekeeping staff who seem to work tirelessly. I travel extensively so i can be fussy and sometimes dismissive of the ‘hotel experience’, but this hotel is really exceptional. I will return for sure

Da ich beruflich viel reise, ist dieses Hotel mein absoluter Favorit. Die Qualität ist stets gleichbleibend hoch, und die Liebe zum Detail ist immer wieder bemerkenswert. Der Service von Rezeptionist Liu Yang war tadellos. Er ahnte unsere Reisemüdigkeit voraus und bereitete uns Chrysanthementee zu. Er dachte sogar daran, unsere Kleidung, die wir beim letzten Mal zurückgelassen hatten, ordentlich einzupacken und zusammenzufalten – so viel Aufmerksamkeit ist wirklich selten. Auch die Toilettenartikel mit Zitrusduft haben mir sehr gut gefallen; der Duft war erfrischend und nicht aufdringlich, und ich war schon nach der ersten Anwendung begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert, der Aufenthalt war fantastisch!

Das größte Merkmal des Wanjia Hotels ist die große Badewanne, die Platz für zwei Personen bietet. In Xiamen ist es wahrscheinlich schwierig, eine so große Badewanne zu finden! Die Hotelumgebung ist ruhig, das Frühstück ist ok und der Service ist auf Abruf! Neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine U-Bahn-Station und die Transportmöglichkeiten sind bequem. Wenn Sie bis spät in die Nacht Snacks essen möchten, gibt es gegenüber einen großen Caitang-Imbissstand, der sehr kostengünstig ist!

Our experience at Jingmin Hotel is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly with special thanks to one of their staff, Mr. Riley, who went the extra mile to assist my son when he required medical assistance. The location is also very convenient, with lots of eatery nearby and just a short walk to the metro. The room is also very clean with good WiFi.

The room offers an exceptional sea view. The seafood buffet at the restaurant is delectable and reasonably priced at 25 euro per person. However, the drainage odor in the bathroom requires improvement to meet a five-star standard.

Das war das Hotel mit dem besten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das wir für unsere Reise nach Xiamen während des chinesischen Neujahrs gebucht haben. Der Meerblick war absolut fantastisch – man zieht die Vorhänge auf und sieht das azurblaue Meer. Morgens vom Rauschen der Wellen geweckt zu werden, hat mich total entspannt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, und der Service war super. Meine Eltern und die Kinder waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Frühstück. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Xiamen kommen, werden wir definitiv wieder hier übernachten!

Mein Aufenthalt im Shangri-La Hotel Xiamen hat mich total begeistert! Obwohl ich kein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hatte, konnte ich einen kleinen Teil des Meeres sehen. Ich war besorgt, dass die Reise mit Kindern anstrengend werden würde, aber der Kinderclub des Hotels war ein wahrer Schatz – Rutschen, Bilderbücher und Lernspielzeug, alles war vorhanden. Mein Kind wollte gar nicht mehr gehen, so konnte ich endlich eine Tasse Kaffee in der Lobby-Lounge genießen. Der Service der Mitarbeiter war auch hervorragend, besonders Yulia und Irene vom Gästeservice. Sie haben mir nicht nur geduldig den Weg erklärt, sondern auch proaktiv ein von Einheimischen häufig besuchtes Fischrestaurant empfohlen, dessen Essen wirklich fantastisch war. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Xiamen komme, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Ein etabliertes Fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Die Ausstattung und Dekoration sind etwas veraltet, aber die Umgebung, die Hygiene und die umliegenden Einrichtungen sind alle sehr gut und es ist sehr praktisch zum Essen, Trinken und Reisen! Der Service ist herzlich und zuvorkommend, und Zhou Qi an der Rezeption hat eine sehr gute Einstellung und beantwortet alle meine Fragen. Er ist sehr rücksichtsvoll!

This is a very nice hotel, clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff. The weekend dinner buffet was beyond our expectations especially for that price, it’s a must try thing if you stay at Renaissance. Can say the same about the breakfast, however the coffee could be improved. The only disadvantages could be the location (it’s a little far from all fun places and the beach in front of the hotel doesn’t look attractive for swimming, so it’s only good if you have a sea view room) and the swimming pool is quite shallow (1.2m depth) and small (it’s way overcrowded on the weekend in particular, full of kids yelling, splashing and approaching you if you are a foreigner and screaming HELLO HELLO HOW ARE YOU which is quite annoying). Another swimming pool isn’t a pool at all as it’s probably 0.9m depth and the other one is closed and only available for those who book the room with the direct access to the pool. If we knew it before, maybe we’d consider staying in another hotel. Anyway, we appreciate friendly hospitality and a late check out. It was a good stay overall.
