Hotel Bristol

Wow. What an absolutely incredible experience for our first time in Italy/ Sorrento. So much so we have already booked to go and stay at the hotel Bristol again next year! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with such a relaxing and calm atmosphere. The view from our room overlooked the marina grande and the bay of Naples and I enjoyed my morning coffee sat on my balcony soaking in the breath taking views each morning. We were half board and opted to have breakfast & dinner at the hotel and the food was nothing short of perfection! The staff (shout out to our friend, Luca) are the kindest, with great humour and pay great attention to detail. Absolutely felt like we were in a 5* establishment. This hotel had everything you could want including it’s own lovely lemon grove. We spent some lovely days lounging by the pool and enjoyed some entertainment in the bar. A stones throw away from the bustling centre of Sorrento and the Piazza Tasso- an absolutely perfect location. My only complaint is not of the hotel itself but the people staying in the room next to us were very loud and often kept us awake late at night and very early in the mornings. Overall my experience was amazing and I am very much looking forward to brushing up on my Italian ready to come back near year.

Excellent service. Gorgeous views of Sorrento through many rooms, lounges, etc. Rooms were spacious and modern. Extremely clean hotel and friendly staff. Pool area was very nice and spacious. Many bars and options for drinks. Breakfast every day overlooking Sorrento was peaceful.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Bristol Hotel. The hotel has super position overlooking Marina Grande over towards Mount Vesuvious. The room we had was high quality and very comfortable and spotless. The hotel impressed us for the excellent food and the wonderful Staff. I must say that dining at the Bristol is a treat. Relaxed with a wonderful view for each meal. Luca, Gianluca and Guiseppe and the rest of the staff in the restaurant were all so welcoming. The reception team were also most helpful. If you are looking for a relaxed environment for a holiday base in the Sorrento area then the Bristol should be on your list.

Fantastic hotel. 10 minutes walk away from Sorrento town. The views are amazing from the hotel. The food and restaurant is spot on. Waiter service for meals. The food is lovely. The staff can not do enough for you. With a lovely roof top terrace and swimming pool.Over looking the bay. Also if you go further there are beautiful gardens. Definitely a hotel worth recommending.

We went on a Tui package. Not something I've done for many years. Checked out all the reviews and You Tube vids before going. Nothing prepared us for what we found on arrival. It was magnificant, from the moment the tour bus turned up and porters unloaded our cases, to the moment they loaded them back on the return coach was as near perfect as possible. All the staff were pleasant, reliable and went over and above our expecations. The views from the dining room and our bedroom were superb. All public areas were spotless and one never felt crowded. Reception staff were informative and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. It easy to over praise a place but this was an exceptional well run and maintained hotel. If I was picky as the season was kicking off there, the air-con in the bedroom should really have been turned on as it was getting warmer and opening the balcony doors made passing traffic very noisy ! Note the Hotel is almost cash-less but they couldn't accept a tip on a card....we were down to our last twenty Euro in cash !

This hotel is a gem. Timeless elegance and fabulous, professional staff. Luca, Guiseppe and the restaurant team welcomed and looked after us so well. The bar team always ensured we had beautifully prepared drinks with a smile. Gorgeous room with a view of the bay. Brilliant location, short walk to the town centre and the waterfront. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back.

My sister wants to keep Hotel Bristol a secret...however this is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff who made our stay so pleasurable.❤️ The Hotel Bristol is an oasis of calm and balm for a totally relaxing holiday away from the hustle & bustle of the town of Sorento. From the lovely lady at reception with her warm welcome & gentle smile to the superb pool area and the gym , to the spa , the beautiful drawing rooms & even the cigar room, this is a special hotel. The room had a fantastic view of Sorento Bay and was pure comfort. Housekeeping is excellent. The dining is so good that we couldn't bring ourselves to leave to go elsewhere. The chef serves delicious amuse bouche every night & Giuseppe takes care of all the guests so well. The bar staff make delicious cocktails, and the limoncello spritz is delicious. The outdoor areas of Hotel Bristol are very comfortable, kept to an extremely high standard, with beautiful flowers and shrubbery everywhere to enjoy. We were very taken watching the owner over seeing things on site. He has a super team here. This was a birthday treat from my wonderful sister, memories made for years to come, Hotel Bristol, thank you, we will be back.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Hotel Bristol, Sorrento. The room with Balcony and sea view was lovely. The hotel is spotlessly clean and every staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had, and the location of the hotel, again, one of the best. It is a short walk to the center of Sorrento. Also a must is to visit the small Marina Grande which you can see from your balcony. Its about a 20 minute walk through nice narrow streets, and is filled with fabulous restaurants. We only made the effort to go there on our last full day and were very disappointed that we did not do so before. From the hotel, you can see very little of the Marina so we were not aware of how many restaurants were there. Also we discovered a nicer beach further along the promenade which runs in front of the restaurant - this has less boats and is a nicer area altogether if you wished to spend time on the beach. There is also a Beach Club with designated swimming area which, again, we would have used had we known about it earlier in our holiday - next time for sure !

Wonderful staff. Very clean traditional hotel. Only complaint about food not very hot. Being a healthy food eater, plenty of choice. So no complaints there. Courtesy bus necessary as the walk into Sorrento a little hazardous. No charge for room safe and pool towels provided. I believe they are opening a snack bar around the pool in the next month. Which would be a bonus. I would describe this as a good 3 star hotel according to Italian standards. Been to many hotels in Italy and found this good value for money.
