Das Hotel in einem ehemaligen Fabrikgebäude ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ohne Auto wegen der Lage nicht empfehlenswert, sonst hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Neapel, Pompeii, Amafiküste usw. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick und Terrasse, da war die Aussicht grandios, das Zimmer geräumig und schön. Handtücher und Bettwäsche würden regelmäßig gewechselt. Rezeption sehr hilfreich, besonders gute Tipps für Neapel kamen von Angelo. Poolbereich sauber und großzügig, besonders aufmerksam und überaus freundlich war Mario!! Frühstück war gut und ausreichend abwechslungsreich, frische Eiergerichte wären wünschenswert. Abendessen war exzellent. Sehr gut gekochte Fischgerichte, oft Recht große Portionen. Nicht ganz nachvollziehbar ist das Halbpensionssystem: 35,-- pro Person werden verrechnet, man kann 2 Gänge und eine Nachspeise aus dem a La carte Menü wählen. Die Preise auf der Karte sind allerdings so, dass man die 35,--€ nicht immer erreicht, schon gar nicht, wenn man einmal einen Gang weglassen will. Ich empfehle mit Frühstück zu buchen, dann ist man flexibler und spart. Mit schönem Spa wird geworben, kostet allerdings 20,--€/Person, Dank gutem Wetter haben wir es nicht genutzt.

Friendly staff and immaculately clean. Overall we had a lovely stay and were fortunate to have a beautiful sea view room with huge balcony on the 5th floor accessible by stairs or lift. Rooms are traditional, slightly dated, but arguably Italian style. Plugs are 3 pin round (L). We had 2 pin round European adapters but they worked ok. Some may find the beds quite hard but we have a similar mattress at home so it suited us. Pillows also quite hard but we did manage to get a softer one from reception. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed as required. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t on during our stay, so we were advised by reception to sleep with the balcony door open and mosquito blind down. This was ok, but air con would’ve been welcomed as temperatures were up to 26 degrees in the day. Understandably the hotel doesn’t turn their air con on in April as temperatures are variable, but for us Brits 26 degrees is tropical! We didn’t use the pool but it was clean and plenty of sun beds available. We were out and about most days visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, the Amalfi coast and the beautiful villages of Positano and Ravello. Would thoroughly recommend the TUI trips as you have to be very brave to drive these roads - would not recommend car hire as it’s just too dangerous! Our TUI Rep Marianna was brilliant. Would highly recommend her free walking tour around Sorrento which we did on our first day as it really helped us to find our feet and provided lots of useful information. The free shuttle bus from the hotel was great. We used it a number of times to get to and from Sorrento both in the day and at nighttime. It runs on the hour from the hotel and at quarter past the hour back from Sorrento. The drivers are friendly and work really hard. All staff were polite and friendly and very hard working. We had a few issues with slow dinner service but staff were aware and apologetic. Breakfast was good with a great selection of continental, fruit, scrambled egg, bacon, pastries etc. Evening meals were ok, but choice was limited. Some standard dishes such as a pasta dish / pizza would have been welcomed to widen the choice. I wouldn’t say the food was outstanding but it was reasonable. Complimentary water for the table would also have been welcomed. Drinks were around 6 Euros for a beer and 9 Euros for an Aperol Spritz / spirits. We ate out a couple of times at a restaurant called Meating in Sorrento which was lovely. The main improvement would be to be able to check in earlier. On arrival at around 1.30pm, we were directed to the lounge bar and were given a complimentary drink which was nice, but we weren’t sure why this was happening. We had been up since 1.30am and just wanted to get changed into something cooler and relax outside in the sunshine. We waited and waited and eventually asked if we could get our room key only to be told that rooms wouldn’t be ready until 4pm. We went outside and had a snack from the pool ba

Just stayed here with my 17 year-old daughter for 4 nights. We only booked the week before so were lucky to find somewhere to stay in Sorrento in July! What a gem this hotel is. It’s a small hotel, very Italian and the staff are wonderful. Our room was lovely, very spacious and clean. It had a huge window looking out to sea and a balcony too. Air con was brilliant and much needed with the heatwave currently. The hotel has a free, regular bus into Sorrento which only takes ten minutes and it runs until late at night. The pool is beautiful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing. So much choice and as much as you want. We were B&B but we did eat in the hotel restaurant on two evenings and the food was superb. We cannot wait to go back!!

Der Campingplatz liegt ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß weg vom Hafen von Sorrento der Campingplatz bietet jedoch einen Shuttelbus ins Stadtzentrum. Wir waren leider vom Strand entäuscht da er nicht wie auf den Fotos war deshalb auf die Strände in Sorrento ausgewichen. Vorallem mit Kindern finden wir es sehr gefährlich ins Wasser zu gehen da doch sehr hohe Wellen ständig gegen die Fels schlagen. Das Personal was stehts sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Sanitärnlagen sind noch sehr veraltet zb. Haben bei den Männern keine Toiletten mehr Klobrillen. Für den Reise die mit der Fähre die umliegenden Orte besuchen wollen ist der Campingplatz Perfekt jedoch den ganzen Tag auf dem Resort zu verbringen ist in unseren Augen nicht zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant welches der Campingplatz bietet hat uns sehr überzeugt das Preisleistungsverhältnis war sehr gut doe Speisekarte ist sehr groß und deckt von Fisch, Fleisch und Pizza alles ab. Auch hier sehr nettes Personal.

Das Grand Hotel de La Ville ist ein sehr freundliches und komfortables Hotel, nur 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum von Sorrento entfernt. Wir kamen früh und waren sehr dankbar, dass unser Zimmer um 11 Uhr bereit war. Wir schätzten wirklich, dass unser Antrag auf eine frühzeitige Eincheckung möglich war. Wenn sie nicht einen sicheren Ort hätten, hätten wir unser Gepäck verlassen können, wenn wir es nötig hätten. Unser Zimmer war eine Premier Meerblick auf dem vierten Stock, die hervorragende Aussichten über die Bay of Naples und Mt Vesuvius bietet. Die Aussichten vom 5. Stock und die Dachbar sind noch beeindruckender. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was Sie mit viel Speicherplatz brauchen. Das King-Size-Bett war sehr komfortabel mit den besten Kissen, die ich in einer langen Zeit auf meinem Kopf gelebt habe.Es gibt viele Stromsockel einschließlich eines Multi-Anschluss-Telefonladens und einer UK-Plug-Socket . Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, effizient und hilfreich und eine Freude zu behandeln. Es war der Geburtstag meiner Frau, während wir da waren und das Hotel generos hinterließ eine Flasche von spitzen Wein in unserem Zimmer für sie am Tag, eine wunderschöne und sehr geschätzte Geste. Wir würden dieses große Hotel sicher empfehlen und hoffen, einen Tag nach der Rückkehr in Sorrento zurückzukehren.

We stayed at the Sorrento Relais for 5 nights in May. It is a family operated Bed and Breakfast. The location was good. For example, it was close enough to walk to the train station. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the variety of choices available for breakfast and the pleasant service we received. Pasquale was helpful with suggestions for activities and I wish we had contacted him before we came. We were looking for a place at a reasonable price and Sorrento Relais worked well.

This was a last minute booking, desperate as we were to find somewhere/ANYWHERE near Sorrento and the coast which offered free parking.Turned out, we added an extra night as it was such an enjoyable hotel to stay in. The hotel sits on the main road to Massa Lubrense itself, an attractive large village about two miles away. Good Tourist Info off ice here too.The area of Massa Lubrense is rural, olive and lemon groves, a world away from the urban feel of nearby Sorrento. Lovely, bright room with a pretty balcony overlooking the sea and Capri…you could never get fed up with that view and sunset! And the stars at night! Beautiful. I hate road noise and was concerned that the hotel was right on the local provincial road but we were out and about all day and the local traffic that did use the road all died down by early evening.Somehow, it didn’t seem to matter and it was very quiet overnight as the road is not the main one you use to access the Amalfi Coast. Excellent breakfast buffet, anything you could want.Staff were very friendly and nice too. We ate in both nights and the food was really tasty, truly home made quality, perfect really, plenty of it and terrific value I thought.10 euro for Veal a La Limone! Not so keen on the desserts but I don’t rate Italian desserts or cakes anyway so that’s just me.There was a sweet trolley, something nice to see for a change. Superb fresh sourdough bread with meals too. Would definitely come back here…Massa Lubrense is a lovely, quieter area yet with great walks and drives to pretty corners. The bus to Sorrento takes 10 mins and stops right out side the hotel.Wouldn’t stay in that busy, hectic town for love nor money but worth a look. The easy, free parking right outside our hotel was so relaxing to have. Big family lunch on , on the Sunday we arrived, in a private suite , so it clearly is rated highly by locals too. We’ll be back!

Wir waren bereits zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung etwas skeptisch wegen der Reviews vom Hotel, dachten aber, dass man als Hilton Diamond Gast nicht viel falsch machen kann. Das Hotel braucht dringend eine Renovation, und zwar innen und aussen. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Die Pools laden nicht zum verweilen ein. Die Verpflegung in der Lounge in der obersten Etage war mässig gut. Achtung, das Hotel hat auch Zimmer hinten raus...

1) Nach dem Einchecken wird die Balkontür geöffnet und man findet ein Spinnennetz an der Ecke der Wand und fliegt auch an der Wand. Bitten Sie die Rezeption, es zu reinigen, und sie verwenden nur einen Stick, um es zu entfernen. Gefragt, ein neues zu ändern und das Personal sagte, dass es vollständig gebucht sei und kein Zimmer verfügbar sei. 2) Die Zimmermädchen stellen nicht täglich Toilettenartikel zur Verfügung und wechseln die neuen Handtücher 3) Personal ist nicht hilfsbereit
