Strawberry Skiathos

Lovely place to stay, excellent location. The lady who runs the pension is really friendly and helpful. A lovely breakfast is included in the cost. The room was modern and a kettle was available. The only issue was there was a smell of drains in the room. The sink has not been plumbed in correctly and there are issues with the floor drains. Overall it didn’t spoil our stay and we would certainly return.

Can't complain about the property or the lovely staff as we had stayed at the Strawberry in June & we have booked to stay next year as well. The problem myself & several of my friends experienced was with the Agency dealing with the bookings. When we booked in Jan 2022 through ********** we chose to pay at the property & were charged extra for this, but 3 weeks before we were due to travel the money was taken from my credit card, but for some of my friends their rooms were cancelled because of problems with their cards. However, instead of contacting them to give them the opportunity to give details of another card, they just cancelled their rooms. When they tried to rebook the rooms they experienced problems. Eventually, after about 24hrs of trying to rebook, one room could not be booked so I then went onto ********** & managed to get them a room which cost almost £700 which was more than double what they initally booked for. This was absolutely disgusting considering their stay was only for 7 nights & were charged for 14 nights. I notice that the prices for next year are less than £300 for a week. I see that all future bookings can only be booked without the choice of free cancellations, which to be honest is not worth diddly squat when the Agent takes your money any way. Maybe ********** should contact them to find out what they're playing at. Beside all this I would say that the resort Manager Margarita is fabulous & unaware of anything to do with bookings.

The rooms were clean and spacious, the place is quiet. The breakfast was ok but the same thing everyday. There was a very nice pool area with a lot of green around it. An inconvenient thing is that in the evenings mosquitoes appear and you can't stay outside.

A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. The Pension is spotless, pool lovely and quiet and breakfast each day had plenty of choices. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of wonderful restaurants literally on the doorstep. And don’t bother with the journey to Koukanaries…Paraskevi Beach is just across the road and very relaxing with plenty of amenities. Bus stop is a few hundred yards away, too. Perfect for going into town. All in all, great location, great hospitality…thoroughly recommended.

We spent a great time in strawberry pension. Margarita was a gereat person always hearing our necessities. The location is beatiful and all the other things was OK. One device: it needs to improve breakfast.

Amazing location. Fabulous basic breakfast. Run by two female staff who cook and clean. Clean pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Plenty of Tavernas within 200 yards . Fabulous calm beach 400 yards away

Do not expect 5star hotel, but everything is very nice. Clean, nice rooms. Normal price of the room and the price at the pool. The owner or the lady who works there is super nice. I would gladly return.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom family bungalow. It was amazing. Fantastic air con, 2 bathrooms, 2 superking beds plus 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The kitchen had everything we needed (apart from washing up stuff). Huge tv on the wall (no English channels) plus a TV in each of the 3 bedrooms. Grrat free WiFi. Very comfy beds. Abso tonnes of wardrobe and storage space. Spotlessly clean. Very modern. Powerful hot showers. There are only around 8 bungalows so very quiet and had a lovely relaxing feel to it. The gardens are beautiful with lovely flowers and fruit trees. The pool had a shallow kids pool next to the main pool which was quite deep. Enough sunbeds for the very few guests and entry of umbrellas. Parking was available for upto 4 cars. The pool was open 9am - 8pm. The "pension" (guesthouse) is along a little quiet side road with 2 very good restaurants next door. The supermarket (with cash machine) is less than 2 mins walk. Beach can be reached in 5 mins on foot. The number 16 bus stop is 1 min away. The free breakfast is decent. Cereals, fruit, cakes, Greek salad, cold ham and cheese, breads, hard boiled eggs, (cold) bacon and sausage (we warmed in microwave in our room), jams, yoghurt, tea coffee and fruit juices. There was only one member of staff present during our stay, she was very helpful and could be found by the pool each day. Cleaner attended daily.
