Fantastic hotel with amazing service. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff were the best that we have come across anywhere in the world. From restaurant recommendations & bookings to ordering a tuk tuk, nothing was a problem. The spa massages were brilliant. Just what we needed. The restaurant food is first class & such a friendly chef who came to chat with us after our meal. A+++++ all around. Thank you. Darren & Katie

I cannot write enough positive things about our short but impressive visit to Anantara. We ended up regretting that we only planned for 24 hours in Siem Reap, but we will absolutely return (to the city, as well as the hotel). We live in Switzerland where hotels are known for a high level of hospitality, and this hotel experience was on par with anything we have experienced in Switzerland. The staff are the friendliest and most gracious that I have ever encountered. The welcome we received put such smiles on our faces, and the smiles continued once we were shown to our rooms. The small foot pool outside our balcony doors was a true hit with our 9 year old son. The room had every amenity that we needed, was very clean, comfortable beds, and very spacious for our family of 3. The grounds of the hotel feel like an oasis. The pool is lovely and peaceful, though my son was disappointed that no "pool play" is allowed, but this is a definite plus for those who are seeking to relax next to the pool. The restaurant had every western comfort you could want, although I wouldn't mind seeing more options for local cuisine. Although we were only there for 24 hours to see Angkor Wat, the staff arranged a wonderful private tour guide for us on short notice. The staff and the hotel played a big role in helping us fall in love with Cambodia and making us determined to return for a longer visit.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. Stayed there so long ago but forgot to leave a fabulous review (I thought I already did). Great Manager & wonderful staff, who couldn’t do enough for us!

Lovely hotel, but quite pricey for extras - particularly wine and beer in the restaurant, where mains were pretty much British prices. Friendly, helpful staff who spoke good English. But a bit out of town. Tuk-tuks in and out of town supplied by hotel for $5. It is 15 minutes from Angkor Wat by tuk tuk

My husband and I were in Siem Reap for 4 days to visit the temples and see a bit of the nightlife and local culture of Cambodia. We chose the Anantara Angkor resort because of its central location and because we wanted a full-service, comfortable place to retreat to during the hot parts of the day. We could not have been more pleased with the ambience, comfort, and hospitality. Before we even left for our trip the excellent concierge staff had arranged shuttles, tours, and guides for our stay. From the hotel shuttle pick up at the airport (complete with much appreciated delicious snacks, cold towels, and cold water) to last minute itinerary changes to the attentive service in the restaurant, the hotel staff accommodated our every request. The hotel itself was magnificent. Comfortable, large, sparkling clean rooms, and excellent air con - which was essential as it was broiling hot in April. The hotel is small and intimate which really gives you a chance to talk to the staff members. We really enjoyed our stay here and the excellent and friendly staff.

The hotel is of a high standard: the rooms are nicely decorated and of a big size. They are very comfortable and have lots of small amenities that will provide you with that special extra feeling. The staff is very professional, attentive and friendly both at reception, SPA or restaurant. The swimming pool is a nice place to spend some time after the heat of the visits during the morning or afternoon. The meals we had were delicious and breakfast is very complete either. As for the location, it is 10m drive from the city center and also close enough to the most visited temples in the Angkor area. I do recommend this hotel, mostly to couples. We were accompanied by M.T, our guide, for 3 days and we wwould also like to praise his work, professional, friendly and funny.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in during my travels. All of the staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Even the Resort Manager can over to us and introduced himself to us and we had a good old chat and he provided lots of useful information. The rooms are huge with huge beds which are super comfortable. The food is excellent and the bar has an excellent choice of beverages. The pool is a great sun trap for an afternoon dip once you have returned from your visits to the temples. It is also very quiet which is great. The hotel is located 4km from the centre of Siem Reap, however they have a number of Tuk-Tuks which can take you into town for $5 USD for upto 4 people. The drivers will also ask you if you want picking up for the return journey too and you can arrange a time with them. We did this three times and they were always on time. The hotel planned a great day trip for us to see some of the smaller, lesser known temples. We only booked this at 10pm the previous night, however this wasn't a problem. The day trip was excellent with a great guide and driver who provided chilled face cloths after visiting each temple which were needed given the temperature. I have no hesitation recommending this resort.

Staff, resort amenities, room facilities and food were what we expected our experience to be. 5 star. Their attention to detail and making your stay comfortable and relaxing was their primary goal and it was achieved. Our booked tour through the hotel was excellent, tour guide and driver was knowledgeable. Van was clean, had water and cold towels and snacks were prepared as well. Staff were courteous, pleasant and warm which made our stay even more enjoyable. We did not want to leave. The only complaint was the air conditioning in the main dining was warm. But overall it did not detract from the service. We will recommend Anantara always!

I had high expectations from this hotel as it is priced rather high in comparison to other hotels in Siem Reap. I booked the Anantara Suite and it was indeed a huge room with 2 living areas. But I do think the design is flawed as the other living area is under utilised. The furnishings and toiletries are also not of the standard of the price. It just doesn’t feel luxurious. My room was near the street and traffic noise makes sleeping in difficult. The service staff tries very hard and they deserve a huge compliment. I think the hardware does not justify the price.

my wife and I had such a lovely stay, the staff is caring, concerned and genuine. We were so surprised and delighted by the food at the restaurant. Individual service provided by the staff No request was too much we have a delightful stay.

Das Resort hat uns hervorragend gefallen. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Suiten sind sehr geräumig und zum Pool ausgerichtet. Wir konnten von unserem Balkon das Angkor Eye, ein Riesenrad, beobachten. Bar und Restaurant haben nicht nur hervorragende Getränke und sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, sondern auch eine große Auswahl. Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer beeindruckenden Stadt.

From the first warm 🙏 from the GM to the final goodbye from all the staff,this hotel is very classy. Located in a quiet part of town, they provide a hotel tuc tuc to take guests to local restaurants and shops. Our room was a spacious suite with small balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area is very calm and relaxing with great service for cocktails and food. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant with a live singer. After the long day exploring Ankor Watit was great to come back to such a comfortable hotel. Thanks to all for a great stay . 🙏
