This beach villa is simply gorgeous. It is exactly as what you see in the pictures. I also love the fact that it’s a wheelchair accessible place.
The accommodation has everything you will need, as well as all the cooking apparatus/ appliances. The house has 2 single beds and 4 futons (can accommodate 6 in total).
We were lucky to meet a staff, Asuka san, when we arrived at the villa for check-in. We were not adequately prepared to deal with the remoteness of the place and didn’t bring enough food with us. She kindly offered to drive us to and back from the supermarket (what a kind soul).
The location of the villa is fairly remote (but it adds the to charm of the place). There are no convenience store or supermarket within close walking distance. It’s best to drive there (as I’ve learnt the hard way).
Right in front of the villa is the beach (and it almost feels like a private beach because there is hardly anyone else). The place does get extremely dark at night as there are no street lamps or lights along the beach (and at the back of the villa) so it’s does feel a little scary. Over the 2 nights we were there, we were visited by a very cute stray (?) cat who let itself up the outdoor stairs onto the deck. The cat shared our dinner and left promptly when it was satisfied.
All in all it’s an absolute gem fitted with all the modern comforts. I dream of returning again.
