Aegean View Hotel

Just back from an amazing 11 night stay at this hotel. Excellent family run 24 room hotel which although the rooms were a little dated you could not fault the hospitality, cleanliness and overall fantastic experience. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bed very comfy. Food served at pool bar was excellent too. What really makes this hotel special are the family and staff that work tirelessly to ensure you enjoy your stay. A big shout out to all the family for making our stay so memorable. Thank you Tasos for my moussaka masterclass. And a special mention to Orest, best barman in Santorini. Met some amazing people while staying there many of whom were repeat visitors which is always a good sign.

Just returned from Aegean view hotel. What can I say.. one word PERFECT. Cannot fault this hotel it was amazing in every way. Booked for my sisters 50th after seeing great reviews and we were not disappointed it was a dream come true. I would like to thank all the staff and also the beautiful people we met whilst there who added to our fabulous stay. Anyone staying there I promise you an amazing time. Clean, friendly, great views and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. I will also like to mention George who is the son of the owner (handsome and helpful). The best Barman ever Orest and Zoe and her husband who taxied us around the island very safely and cheaply. Of course Thassos the owner. All brilliant. Thank you all so much. Xx

Had a lovely weeks break here with my family. The hotel is beautiful, lovely pool area and great bar with lovely food that is served all day long. Our room was a maisonette. Double bed and single bed up a very steep spiral staircase. The room and bathroom itself is exceptionally clean however could benefit from updating as it is quite tired looking. Comfy bed and powerful shower though. Very clean towels (if a little rough). The staff are lovely and friendly. Big shout out to Orestis, the barman. Great guy working very long hours. It’s no surprise that the hotel is at the top of a pretty steep hill. Can be a bit hard going in the heat. Also lots of steps to the apartments so not good for the less mobile. The views though are absolutely beautiful and worth the hill. Kamari itself is a fantastic areas, loads of lovely bars and restaurants. Good transport to other areas you may wish to visit. My only disappointment was that they keep the bar open till the early hours if people wish to drink. This can get very noisy making sleep difficult as the acoustics from the mountain causes all noise to be heard from the bar area. They really need to stop serving at midnight for the comfort of other guests who are trying to sleep. This aside we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely return.

Had a lovely stay room needs updating but the family that run this hotel are absolutely amazing especially George and his mum. George just can’t do enough for you they even offer to pick you up from the bottom of the hill if you are too tired to walk up.Very clean food was lovely.

Just returned from a wonderful week here . The views from the apartments were lovely . The studio was very spacious and the cleaning ladies worked very hard keeping everything spotless . Lovely clean pool and friendly staff . Just be aware there is €49 tax to pay for a weeks stay ( not the hotel’s fault )

Family run hotel & they were blooming amazing! They went way beyond to help in any way they could & the whole family chipped in morning noon & night. If you eat there then “prepare “ as the portion size are massive. Just go there & see for yourself what a wonderful place this is as there are too many great things to write. ❤️

Just returned from a lovely 10 night stay here and had a great time. The third time we have stayed here in the 6 times we have visited Santorini. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is in a hillside location overlooking Kamari and out to sea, views are wonderful. We stayed in room 521 with a jacuzzi, the view from the room excellent. Breakfast is typically Greek which we are more happy with. Good food also available from the pool bar all day. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we revisit Santorini in the future, probably not May as we did have a few days of rain 😕.

Firstly wanted to say a huge thank-you to all the management & all the team at the Aegean View Hotel for making our stay & our momentous occasion so special. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We’re delighted with the setting of the hotel situated into the mountains with the most spectacular views that were simply breathtaking. Our room was just beautiful , the 4 poster bed was so romantic & fitting for our special occasion, along with our spacious terrace & the hot tub surpassed our expectations. Everyone was so friendly & accommodating & our room was kept tidy & spotless throughout our stay. Overall it was a perfect stay, & we would highly recommend to our friends & family. We hope to return in the near future & there is no-where else we would rather stay in beautiful Santarini than the fabulous Aegean View Hotel. Mary & Graham

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Aegean view hotel What a fantastic place to stay The staff are all so very friendly We were allocated a beautiful apartment Where we had a gorgeous view of the sunrise every morning The apartment was very clean And spacious Bed really comfortable Clean towels every day and also towels provided for pool or you could take them to the beach Shower was amazing Air con worked really well Lovely kitchenette to prepare breakfast as we were on self catering option This is the best place I have ever stayed in Greece And hope to return soon There is a small incline of a hill if you have mobility issues The pool was perfect Just wished I had been there for longer Didn’t want to leave Situated a short walk to Kamari beach Where there were lots of lovely restaurants to choose from We were able to use the sun beds free at the beach when purchasing just a drink I have to say first trip to Santorini And can’t wait to return Visited Oia and Fira and Perrisa But we glad we decided to stay in kamari We ate at a few of the restaurants on the walk from hotel down to beach And also on the beach front Found the prices were good value Between 40 and 80 euros approx for 2 people depending on whether you having wine Or soft drinks Some great cocktails as well between 7/12 euros If you ever fancied going to Santorini definitely do it you won’t regret it The Aegean view would be my choice for total relaxation and comfort with fabulous views So much to do and see And try out the outdoor cinema if you are there so quirky Thank you again To all the lovely team at Aegean view Hotel you are all amazing x😃
