Beautiful view from the room. Restaurant is not that cozy, but of kill vibe, no background music. If they work on the vibe and the breakfast in the restaurant, this hotel can have more higher reviews.

Ca. 600m vom Flughafen entfernt liegt das Hotel in der Einflugschneise. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Meer ist super und man sieht auch die kleine Insel Corvo. Das Zimmer war ok, die Betten sehr gut. Das Bad ist mit Badewanne, Toilette und Bidet ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbüffet war ok, wenn man nicht ein Brötchen vom Vortag erwischte.

Das otel ist ein moderner Zweckbau ohne jegliche Charme. Es steht auf einer Klippe an Dorfrand und verfügt über einen kleinen ungeheizten Swimmingpool. Die Aussicht aufs Meer und zur Insel Corvo ist grossartig. Leider hatte ich ein strassenseitiges Zimmer ohne Balkon (bzw, nur mir französichemn Balkon) und ohne Meerblick. Einmal erhält man als Single eines der weniger begehrten Zinmner. Das Zimmer war aber in Ordnung, Sauber und mit bequemen Bett. Es hatte auch einen Schreibtisch und einen bequemen Sessel. Das Zentrum kann zu Fuss erreicht werden. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem kleinen Buffet. Es wurde aber coronabedingt serviert, was jeweils zu Wartezeiten führte. Das Brot war nicht immer frisch. Das Abendessen war in Ordnung aber mehr nicht. Es ist das inselbeste Hotel (es gibt nur drei). Alternativ müsste man in ein B&B oder ein Ferienhäuschen mieten. Alles in allem war das Hotel ok und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

This hotel was nice, though showing its age in places. The proximity to the natural pools and airport were great. Since the town is pretty small, you could walk to a lot of places from the hotel.

The hotel was so convient from the airport. Hotels has beautiful views from the room and restaurant. Breakfast is available and delicious. Meals for lunch and dinner were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. Taxis are difficult to hire during off seasom.

Good place to stay in Santa Cruz - more stylish and classy than the pictures show. Beautiful view (sea view-side) and quiet, except for astonishing bird calls at night (Cory's Sheerwaters). Seaview well worth it, but there are pleasant lounges and balcony to get the view as well. Food is good quality, but the half-board is so limited in starters (soup of the day) and sweets (ice-cream, fruit or sweet of the day, which did not change daily) and saves so little money (and none at all if you have many of the main courses), that it is not worth having. Breakfast has a reasonable range, but less so as it declined while we were there. The freshly squeezed orange juice, variety of fresh fruits and yoghurt all disappeared. Some days delays for food due to incredible understaffing: a single person at breakfast and at dinner some days.
