Cubanito Ibiza

This is our third stay with the Concept Group Hotels, having previously stayed at Tropicana and Paradiso and it didn’t disappoint. The attention to detail is second to none, you really feel like you’ve escaped to your own private bit of trendy paradise, that no one else knows about! Our room was a perfect size for 2 of us and the beds super comfy. All of the amenities in the room were great and the Marshall speaker makes pre drinks fun! There’s a small supermarket a 2 minute walk away and walking into San Antonio along the coast doesn’t take long either. Cabs sometimes took a while to come to Cubanito when booked from reception, but hardly the fault of the hotel and Gaby on reception was always friendly and helpful. Just make sure you leave yourself plenty of time! The roof top bar is a must and the drinks are divine! Wish we could have stayed longer but we’ll be back again next year to try out the next Concept Group Hotel. Thank you for another amazing stay. Gemma & Natasha x

Fabulous hotel with a unique style. From start to finish the staff couldn’t do enough for our stay here on honeymoon. The room was spacious and comfortable, all entirely in keeping with the hotel’s atmosphere, and was cleaned well and supplied with fresh towels each day. The sunbeds around the pool area are extremely comfortable and didn’t weren’t subjected to the usual ‘get your towel there before dawn’ imposition by other guests. All the food and drinks we had here were delicious.

Check in smooth, arrived lunchtime and got our room. Ibiza was just opening up when we arrived and hotel was quite quiet. Room quirky and a lovely small balcony overlooking the pool. We were told of activities on the roof top but never tried them. We did look for breakfast one morning, however couldn't find staff so went elsewhere. Spent one afternoon by the pool and staff very helpful and took drinks to us. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet location, but easily walkable to the main attractions.

Really really cool style, very nice and helpful staff! Roof top bar was alot of fun and the overall pool area was stylish and quiet! Parking isn't great but the location is good, 5 mins from the beautiful cala gracioneta but also not far from the harbour with alot of food options etc The kitchen in our room was great too and we used it to cook a few times! We often stay in Concept hotels and they never disappoint! Also, best daiquiris in Ibiza!

Me and my partner stayed here for a week in September. The general vibe of the hotel is great, the pool area is really nice and chilled out. There is a bar near the pool and a rooftop bar open in the evenings which is great to watch the sunset from. Staff were all really friendly. Rooms have good facilities and felt clean, there was a kitchen and fridge which was handy. There is also a ceiling fan which we preferred using over the air con. The balcony was spacious and looked over the pool. We did not have any food whilst at the hotel as we would eat at restaurants. There is a small shop around the corner and some lovely beaches within a 5 minute walk. The downsides to this hotel is the distance from the main *****, which is around a 20 minute walk, we ended up using taxis a lot as the area around the hotel is very dark and at night wasn’t a nice walk, luckily it would only be a few minute wait for a taxi and could cost around 7 euros to get to the *****. The hotel is also very noisy, despite being quite far out we thought that this would be a quieter hotel to stay at, the walls seem paper thin and even being on the 1st floor you can hear everything in reception, people opening/closing doors, going to the toilet etc, I would recommend ear plugs if you plan on going to sleep before 2am! We also had a double bedroom which was just two twin beds pushed together which moved easily so we were essentially in a twin bed room as by the morning there would be a gap between us. Overall we had a great stay here and really enjoyed being at this hotel, with a few improvements such as soundproofing and better beds it would be perfect.

I have just returned from staying 5 nights at the Cubanito. On our second to last day we left the hotel to spend the afternoon at the beach. I placed a piece of jewellery in my handbag, away in the room. We then returned a few hours later and when I opened the bag it was gone. We spoke to 2 members of staff and all they said was nobody has seen it. I’m really surprised and disgusted by this behaviour in this sort of establishment, knowing that somebody is looking and going through our belongings. We should be able to feel safe leaving our possessions in a secured hotel room but unfortunately not. I have tried to contact the hotel on 3 occasions since returning home and I have had no reply!

This hotel is so nice! Really nicely decorated and such a nice vibe. Great location short walk along the front to mambos. We didn’t have a problem with taxis but I think it’s the time of year we went. We loved it and would deffo visit again, it’s great that you can spend the day at any of the partner hotels too. It was clean and I loved the hotel scent in reception

Cubanito is the perfect boutique hotel for couples or small groups of friends who want to party in Ibiza without being woken up by youngsters yelling ‘oi oi’ down the corridor at 5am. It’s small, classy and nicely located if you want somewhere a bit quieter but still with good access to all the fun Ibiza has to offer. We checked in quite late - nearly 1am - due to a delayed flight, but the man on reception was very helpful, offered us a free mini cocktail and even showed us around. All three of the reception staff we came across were lovely and genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small pool and bar area but there are comfortable double sunbeds to lie on and if you’re not someone who wants to lie around the pool all day everyday it’s fine. We visited at the end of September so out of peak season - I can see how in mid August it might be hard to get a bed in the sun. We prefer the beach anyway and this area of San Antonio has the best beaches, Cala Gracious and the smaller Cala Gracionettta - you can swim round from one to the other. Both are small coves with beautiful calm water and the most peaceful atmosphere. You can walk to the sunset ***** very easily from here. The hotel’s highlight is the beautiful roof terrace, with stunning views across the whole bay. You can watch the sunset from up here and they have DJs, live music and salsa lessons! Cocktails are great too. It just needs some heaters for the later part of the season. The rooms are good - quite small but with comfy beds and Cuban themed decor. We were overlooking the pool with a good sized balcony. The room has a mini kitchen with fridge and hob- we did think the hob was a bit random and can’t see how it would be used but maybe it would be useful to some people! The large fridge was useful. Nice full length mirror in good light too. Would definitely come back here and recommend if you’re not too old to party but want somewhere classy with considerate guests. It’s eight years since we’ve been to Ibiza and this quieter area of San Antonio has seen quite a bit of development with new hotel OKU across the road and the redevelopment of the Tanit into TRS, but Cubanito is a welcome part of the change!
