Unsere Erfahrung in diesem Hotel war extrem A+++, Anthony und Angie beide Front Desk Spezialisten waren so professionell und machten unseren Aufenthalt komfortabel. Sie gingen aus ihrem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Touren gut organisiert waren und unser Frühstück im Hotel war jsut ausgezeichnet. Die glückliche Stunde war auch großartig. Das Hotel ist extrem sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und sicher, dass wir wussten, wo wir hingehen. Es war schwer zu Hause zu kommen, weil es fühlte, als ob wir weg von zu Hause waren. Der Manager kam auch und versichert, dass wir einen großen Aufenthalt hatten.

Stayed here on a tour of Costa Rica, for a total of three nights on arrival and between our extension. Typical city hotel, very comfy and large rooms with big bathrooms, plenty of toiletries etc. Lovely staff, although not very attentive in the main restaurant! We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in the main restaurant - all good. Also a great meal in the Japanese restaurant. It was quite cool, they keep the aircon on quite high and the weather was windy and cloudy so turned it off in our room! Nothing much nearby, very convenient for airport but only a supermarket and McDonalds within walking distance. The park was ok for a quick walk, only a few yards away.

Nach 2 Wochen in Costa Rica haben wir auf der Durchreise das Hotel Balmoral gebucht. Es war super schön, ein großes bequemes Bett. Ein sauberes und gutes Badezimmer. Alles ordentlich und sauber. Es gab sogar einen großen und leisen Kühlschrank. Zum Frühstück haben wir das Omelett gewählt welches auch sehr gut war. Für uns gibt es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel vor unserem Rückflug nach Europa. Zu erwähnen ist, dass wir für 20 USD pro Stunde gleich beim Einchecken ein garantiertes Late Check-Out buchen konnten (unser Flug ging am späteren Abend), ohne dass wir am Morgen nach der Verfügbarkeit fragen mussten. Das Hotel liegt inmitten der Einkaufs- und Museumsmeile, ist jedoch zum Schlafen sehr ruhig, da die Fenster seit dem kürzlich erfolgten Umbau absolut schalldicht sind. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut und modern eingerichtet - mit genügend Steckdosen und USB-Ports für elektronische Geräte aller Art. Das Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant war von einwandfreier Qualität und an der Bar werden sehr originelle Drinks gemixt (nicht nur das Allerweltszeugs wie Pina Colada, Margarita und Co.). Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und umfasst auch zahlreiche einheimische Spezialitäten sowie eine Egg-Station, wo Eierspeisen nach Belieben bestellt werden können. Die Corona-Massnahmen wurden sehr gut und für die Kunden nachvollziehbar umgesetzt, inklusive Aufforderung zum Desinfizieren beim Hoteleingang. Negativ war einzig, dass es beim Frühstück Säfte aus einem Tank gab und keine frischen Fruchtsäfte bestellt werden konnten, obwohl das Buffet zahlreiche schöne reife Früchte enthielt. Auch war es im Restaurant und den allgemeinen Räumen teilweise kalt wie in einem Gefrierschrank - American Style halt! Aber für uns ist dies trotzdem das Hotel der Wahl für einen Aufenthalt in San José.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von San Jose. Unten ist eine Hauptfußgängerstraße. Es ist bequem zu essen und einkaufen zu gehen. Es kann an den Gründen des Landes liegen. Das Hotel fühlt sich alt an und es fühlt sich ein wenig unsicher an, nachts auszugehen. Das Hotel ist im altmodischen Stil eingerichtet und die Hotellobby befindet sich im zweiten Stock im Retro-Stil. Das Frühstück ist relativ reichhaltig, aber nach zwei Tagen Essen habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nichts zu essen gibt. Es kann sein, dass der chinesische Magen daran nicht gewöhnt ist. Obst, Saft, Kaffee, viel Milch, das ist toll. Das Badezimmer im Hotel hat nur einen Duschkopf, was sehr unpraktisch ist. Außerdem wird das Trinkwasser vom Hotel selbst installiert und ist immer nicht trinkbar.

Wer nahe der wichtigen touristischen Punkte sein will, ist hier richtig. Das Hotel ist sauber. Es ist aber ein hellhöriges Stadthotel, im Zentrum, Die 50m entfernte Bahnlinie beginnt morgens gegen Vier (!!!) zu fahren. Mit Schrittgeschwindigkeit rumpelt sie gefühlt STÄNDIG laut hupend am Haus vorbei. Wer sehr lärmresistent ist, dem mag die Lage des Hotels zu empfehlen sein, Der Jacuzzi über unserem Zimmer macht bei Benutzung ein Geräusch, das dem einer elektrischen Handbohrmaschine vergleichbar ist.

Despite our best efforts, the hotel refused to address the issue adequately, leading to the cancellation of my reservation. Furthermore, the hotel has also declined to refund the payment I made for the booking. Throughout this process, their responses were consistently rude and unhelpful, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. In addition to the room issue, I feel it is important to mention that the dining room for breakfast at Hotel Cultura Plaza is extremely small, akin to a small bar with only about four tables. This limited space may make it challenging to find a seat during busy periods, and it can detract from the overall dining experience. Given my disappointing experience and the hotel's uncooperative attitude, I want to urge prospective customers to exercise caution when considering a reservation at Hotel Cultura Plaza. Please be aware of the lack of windows in some rooms, the prison cell-like appearance, and the limited dining space for breakfast. Wir blieben hier nur eine Nacht, seit wir am nächsten Morgen in La Fortuna verließen. Zum Preis dachte ich, es sei ein fester Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer/Geteilte Badezimmer war sauber und das Frontdesk war freundlich. Das Hauptpro war, wie erschwinglich dieser Ort war. Ich suchte nicht nach irgendetwas Fantasie, nur einen Ort, um meinen Kopf zu ruhen.

Neben der Nicht-****** als Namenszustand. Zuerst fand man heraus, dass kein Zimmer hatte kein Englisch-TV. dann wurde in ein anderes Zimmer mit keinem Englisch-TV gehängt. Das dritte Zimmer hatte nur 8 alte Programme in Englisch und keine Nachrichtenstation. 80% der Gäste im Hotel ******* sind Amerikaner. Das echte Problem wurde 15$ für Mädchen gezahlt, die als Gast in mein Zimmer ......we hatte ein Problem . Mädchen wollte nicht etwas zu tun, versprochen, nach 5 Minuten und musste Sicherheit und Manager sie aus meinem Zimmer. Ich bat den Manager, die $15 für das Mädchen bezahlte Hotel zurückzuzahlen. Der Manager sagte, sie sind Privatunternehmer und keine Rückzahlung für mich. Ich habe das 15 an das Hotel nicht Gird bezahlt. hat das Zimmer nicht benutzt. Bitte erstatten Sie mir meinen 15 Dollar für den Gast. es genügt, dass ich von der Mädchen geschäumt wurde.. ...PS, der Manager hatte keinen Wunsch, das Mädchen vom Hotel zu verbieten. Sie wird in naher Zukunft einen anderen DelRey Gäste zerreißen. Die alte Führung würde nie das Mädchen in den Delrey lassen, um einen anderen Gast zu konfrontieren. Bitte erstatten Sie my$15. Wie jedes Selina Hostel gibt es Liebe in jedem Einzelteil - Dekoration, Licht, gute Möbel. Wir hatten das Deluxe Zimmer mit viel Platz, einen Tisch, eine Sofa, eigenes Badezimmer und gutem Komfort. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Wir hatten für 2 Tage kein warmes Wasser in unserem Zimmer, aber das Personal reagierte sofort, versuchte es zu reparieren und wir hatten ein kostenloses Frühstück und ein paar Geld zurück. Saubere Küche, genügend Kühlraum und ein kühler Sofaraum in der Wohnküche. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen und entspannenden Aufenthalt amd würde definitiv empfehlen, diese Hostel.
