Ionian Emerald Resort

Ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel, das ausgezeichnet ist. Die Zimmer waren sauber und hatten eine atemberaubende Aussicht, das Essen war herrlich und das Personal war fantastisch, beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, nichts war zu viel Mühe. Ich würde dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen und kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen

Wir sind gerade vom Ionian Emerald Resort zurückgekehrt und hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Obwohl das Hotel mit 5 Sternen bewertet ist, wäre eine fairere Bewertung 4,5 Sterne. Ein paar Wochen würden es auf die angegebene 5-Sterne-Bewertung bringen. Ein besseres ergänzendes Tee-/Kaffeetablett usw. Zwei Teebeutel und zwei kleine Kannen Milch sind wirklich nicht ausreichend. Es gibt täglich Wasserflaschen, eine Minibar und eine bessere Duscheinrichtung. Das Zimmer hatte zwar eine große Badewanne mit Düsen und die Dusche befand sich über der Badewanne, aber eine begehbare Dusche wäre besser, aber das ist nur unsere Meinung. Unser Vorschlag einer langen Hängefläche für Kleider wurde von der Geschäftsführung aufgegriffen. Allerdings war das Personal ausnahmslos ausgezeichnet, und eine besondere Erwähnung gebührt Eva und Alex an der Rezeption, Fania an der Bar und unserer wundervollen Zimmerdame Agnise (entschuldigen Sie, wenn der Name falsch geschrieben wurde). Gutes Personal ist für einen gelungenen Urlaub unerlässlich. Die Frühstückskarte könnte verbessert werden, aber es gab eine große Auswahl und die Omeletts waren fabelhaft. Wir werden in dieses Hotel zurückkehren, da es sehr entspannt war und eine schöne Lage hat, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Sami entfernt, wo die Auswahl an Restaurants, Bars usw. genau richtig war. Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer und es war sehr geräumig und hatte eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Wie gesagt, wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Ionian Emerald und werden wieder buchen.

We would highly recommend this hotel. It is set in beautiful well kept gardens. It is a quiet family run hotel, the staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing. The hotel is very clean and everyone we spoke to was helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to eat at the hotel and a short walk to Sami where there are plenty of places to eat. We will definitely be returning

Great location. Easy stroll in Sami. Rooms tired and bathroom dark with only a hand shower. Daily room cleaning very good. Breakfast poor basic quality. Pool, hotel beach and facilities shared with sister hotel (Athena , 2 star) meaning often not being able to find an available sun bed.Very unfair after paying top dollar at the Emerald! Nothing much goes on at this hotel which if you just want to relax and chill is great. Definitely not 5 star. 4 at best.

I was skeptical but having arrived at the hotel very late, the staff did accommodated myself and family beyond the restaurant closing time, The food was great, the staffs from the receptions to the restaurant and porter where exceptional friendly

Had a great family holiday here. Lovely hotel which had a very friendly feel. All the staff worked so hard to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. The pool area is very relaxing and the evening bar and restaurant has great food and particularly good cocktails. The local restaurants were really good, we went to Zervati in the evening a lot as the food was so nice and was a very friendly family restaurant. At lunch time we went to Karavomilos on the sea front most days, only 5 mins from the hotel, amazing views over the bay towards Sami, food was lovely and was a great way to spend a lunchtime. We went in to Sami a few times and the food was always good, a lot of restaurants to choose from, the walk from the hotel in the evening is very easy and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, thanks to all the hard working staff who made our holiday so enjoyable.

I’ve just got back from celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary in Sami. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff where simply fantastic and so helpful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast amazing each morning - fantastic fresh omelettes and a wide selection. Sun loungers are readily available, on some days people leave towels and go off doing other things but the staff resolve this quickly. Pool is amazing. Pool bar is fantastic and lunch bar superb, would recommend the Carbonara, grilled chicken and spring rolls. Cocktails amazing also and brought over to your lounger. Prices are fantastic. Evening dinner even better, like eating top UK restaurant food and the beef fillet is unreal. Staff helped us to hire a car also. Rooms cleaned everyday and hotel is spotless. We will 100% be going back next year. There are some tavernas around a five minute walk away and Sami is a beautiful 15-20 minute walk along the sea front where there are over 30 tavernas to choose from. We also enjoyed cocktails in Willys and Kraken Bar. Takes about 45 minutes from airport so pre book transfer. Absolutely amazing

On arrival it looked like a lovely quiet hotel, just what we needed for a peaceful break. As others have said, the breakfast is a little disappointing, the same every morning and juice and water runs out very quickly. The rooms were clean and serviced daily, but the bathroom was very dark and the shower leaked. It could do with updating and replacing with proper showers rather than a shower attachment over the bath. We weren’t aware when we booked that the guests at the more reasonably priced Athina hotel have free access to all the facilities at the Ionian Emerald. The pool became busy with large families who were noisy and dominated the use of sunbeds and the pool. The first day was perfect, quiet and relaxing. Then guests from the other hotel arrived and it all changed. You can see why people stay at the Athina hotel instead, all the same facilities at a fraction of the price.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Can't fault our stay. The staff were all amazing, especially the pool bar staff who were so helpful. The breakfast staff were adorable. The staff on reception were friendly and polite and the lovely lady at the bar in the evening was just fantastic. The room was nice and breakfast was plentiful. The hotel that boasts less than 50 rooms was impeccably clean. My husband and I really had a fantastic time and it was so relaxing. A 15/20 minute walk to Sami with a huge selection of restaurants in a beautiful port.
