Pour moi ce n’est pas un 4* Changement très important de température dans la douche… chambre pas insonorisée on entend les conversations des voisins. Un serveur a coincé les doigts de mon enfant de 3ans dans une porte. Pas d’excuse juste une tape dans le dos de mon fils « c’est rien…. » ne parlons pas de la cantine ou l’on mange sol pas lavé reste du repas de la veille par terre au petit déjeuné Heureusement de manière générale les employés sont plutôt sympa.

Séjour en famille agréable. Nous avons apprécié l’espace spa (sauna, jaccuzi, hammam, piscine intérieure). Les repas sont assez variés pour satisfaire toute la famille.

La situación es inmejorable. Puedes ir a la playa y al parque temático andando. Las instalaciones en general muy buenas, creo que probamos todos los servicios ofertados y aunque mi habitación en particular tenía detalles a mejorar (mampara averiada, algunos azulejos rotos, TV) en general bien. El personal tanto de animación, buffet, limpieza y atención lo mejor del hotel. La comida en general bien, nada sobresaliente dado que es orientado a los extranjeros, mucho frito, pero fuera del hotel encuentras lo mismo, un 99% de los locales ofrecen lo mismo.. Si volviera a viajar a esa zona posiblemente sería un hotel que tendría en cuenta para repetir.

Hôtel très bien situé, proche mer, proche parcs d attraction, proche commerce. Bon standing, jolies piscines, chambre spacieuse avec balcon, wifi très bien, repas copieux. Environnement très agréable.

Just back from the hotel last week and absolutely loved it! I found the staff all really friendly. Our room was small but adequate with a view looking into the neighbouring hotel and could see red force from our balcony. A lot of people don’t rate the food here but we all really enjoyed it. My 10 year old couldn’t get enough of the churros. There were plenty of options for dinner and you could get fresh meat and paella etc cooked in front of you. We actually decided to stay at the hotel for dinner 6 out of 7 nights as we enjoyed it so much. The hotel is really clean. I always seeing the cleaners around cleaning the foyer and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The entertainment at the hotel was ok although I thought it was quite late for the kids as the mini disco wasn’t on till 9 and adult entertainment on at 10. The location of the hotel is excellent. 10 min walk to portaventura and a 5-10 walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. Also you can get the bus right outside the hotel to tarragona which is a beautiful place. Also my son loved the cat at the hotel. He seen it every day and it was so friendly. I will definitely go back to villa romana, sad to be home now.

We stayed here from 14th-21st of May. 2 adults and 3 kids. Ages 12 and 10. This hotel was really good. We were half board. Most days food choices were really good. Something for everyone. Nightly entertainment for young kids which was great and a show for the adults. Fair play to Sergio, Raquel and Pepito. They were amazing!! We had the 2 interconnected rooms which was great. Aircon was broken in room 237 but other than that, very clean and comfortable. Hotel is also 5 mins walk from parks, beaches shops

Just returned from a 10 night stay and this hotel, overall, is great! Good points: 10 min walk to beach/shops 15 min walk to Portaventura Entertainment staff are brilliant!! The pool bar food was delicious! Freshly made and not expensive. Beds and bathroom clean - shower was powerful and has a glass screen (iykyk RE shower curtains abroad!) Pool area is excellent, plenty loungers and seating Water slides were brilliant and the extra activities in the big pool fab (inflatable slide and obstacle course some days) Daytime activities were great and not too frequent (I'm not a fan of a persistent team trying to get you up every 10 mins!) Restaurant was clean and staff always busy cleaning behind messy guests and always plenty crockery etc. Available. Not so good points: The food is average. Breakfast was great (omelettes cooked to order), lunch good and dinner was OK. They seem to have a smaller set of buffet tables for kids but wasn't used while we were there - shame as we expected mid-May to be into peak season. The pizza at the buffet is awful! The toast situation at breakfast is poor - it sounds great on paper that it's toasted over a fire but there was never toast ready the whole time we were there. There seemed to be a lack of staff working the pool bar and inside bar during the day. Could be an off-peak thing but there was frequently large queues for drinks during the day. 10 euro a day for a kettle in your room is crazy! I feel for those needing for babies! The room was mostly clean - the floors were usually not clean though, insane dust under beds and furniture - not sure it was mopped regularly enough. The kids club isn't as good as it could be - open for a few hours in a morning (a plus is they always did face painting!) But the room is small. The kids disco is also late (imo) at 9/9.30pm. However, the kids disco and the staff organising it were great! I particularly loved them chanting and parading around the dining room (although I'm sure other diners would hate it 🤣!) Some reviews mention queuing for dinner/breakfast. We did see this a couple of times during our stay. The queue can stretch across the lobby but we found it moved so fast that it barely takes 5 minutes to get into the dining room. The dining room staff work hard to turn tables around. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay! Yes the food could be improved but there is enough choice for everyone and we would consider returning!
