This is not a five star hotel. I have no idea how it got that designation. The place is "fine," but it sets itself up for failure by claiming to be something it isn't. Grafitti covers the front of the buildings adjacent to it. The lobby is tiny, and we were constantly jostled by other guests and service people as we tried to check in. The rooms are ok, but not luxurious. The elevator is tiny. With two people it felt claustrophobic and unsafe. We had "adjoining" rooms on the top floor with a "private" garden. However, it wasn't at all private. They hung a sign on the door, saying, "this garden is reserved for these two rooms," but they left the door open. They literally served breakfast to people at a table immediately outside the door of one of the rooms in a walkway to the garden. The privacy was a joke. The "garden" was unkept and the furniture in it unusable. Breakfast itself was great, and the service staff was very helpful and attentive. Honestly, it is an ok inn, but definitely not a 5 star hotel. Perhaps, we would have enjoyed it if we had different expectations.
