We're just finishing up an eight night stay in this wonderful hotel and have had a great time here. It is steps away from antiquities, is perfectly located with many bus lines stopping a few steps up the street, and is a heaven for walkers as well. We are older but love to walk and averaged six miles each day, visiting most of the major sites by foot, always knowing we could easily use a bus instead if we wanted. On this second trip to Rome we discovered the Trastevere neighborhood just across the river from 47 Boutique with its charm, shopping, and numerous excellent and fun restaurants. This was our first stay in what we consider a "luxury hotel" and we splurged on a 5th floor Deluxe With Private Terrace, very pleasurable, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay in one of the more regular rooms in the future as all the rooms enjoy the buffet breakfast and the many gathering spaces, from the roof top bar and restaurant to the lovely big courtyard, and all (I believe) have upscale furnishings, such as the elegant bathrooms and the big smart TV disguised as a mirror. We liked the concierge service, being able to easily ask any question and get useful information, and greatly benefited from the help given us when our flight home was cancelled at 3 AM last night. Nico was on duty in the foyer and calmly determined the we could stay an additional night at the rate we had instead of the current (last minute) rate, and called our airport transportation to reschedule it. There are many hotels in this conveniently located area but surely this one must rate as one of the best.
