Property was artsy and very different. Staff was friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. Comfortable communal areas to sit and relax. Charming hotel with lovely plants throughout. We enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful hotel and staff - I’ll be back! I enjoyed my room, furnishings, bed, and the bathroom as well, despite the term “antiquated bathrooms.” I’m wondering if they intended to say, bathrooms furnished with several antiques?” From the moment I arrived to the point of my departure, the staff was most hospitable. The morning breakfast is delicious (love the bacon) - and the women preparing and serving the breakfast are friendly and offer great customer service. One caveat: This isn’t a true bed and breakfast - at least if you book through a third-provider; I don’t feel that the management should even use the phrase “bed and breakfast” - it’s available for a fee and worth the small cost - and I was told that with subsequent stays booked directly, it would be included. Great location. I would definitely stay again!

The small boutique hotel is lovely, if you want to be near the local culture of puerto Vallarta this is the place to stay. Lovely staff and great accommodations we will return soon.

Great location in the Zona Romantica, staff very friendly and helpful with advice. Pool is not heated, so I didn't use it, jacuzzi was nice. Bkfast was good and find out that if you book directly is included. Bathroom can use an upgrade, no handheld shower head and faucets getting a bit ugly. I'll recommend this hotel.

The Garlands is a boutique hotel located in the Romantica area. Excellent location. Easy walk to restaurants, beach, markets and entertainment. Very nice staff. Clean room and premises. Loud music starting at 9am which is not the hotels fault but still something to consider. We had a river view room but the river is dry so not much of a view. Bathroom is very dimly lit so a bit of a challenge to apply makeup. Sister hotel is a short walk and also very nice with a rooftop pool for a bit more sun.

The location is fantastic and close to everything in Zona Romántica. Max greeted me and checked me in; he was phenomenal. He did a tour of the property and provided great recommendations for food and events. Marta checked me out and was very polite and allowed me to stay on premise until my flight later in the evening. The hotel is charming and feels cozy. Also recommend checking out their sister hotel as their pool, the view, and bartender are fantastic.

Beautiful place with unique character. Felt like we were escaping reality. Walkable distance to all areas of the Romantic district. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Wonderful stay.
