Please be careful walking out the front of this hotel becsuse if you walk staight ahead of uou like my husband did the step is bigger than you think and he has 4 broken ribs broken elbow and wrist and no one came to help us and our 15 year old aaked reception to call a ambulamce but because my husband aged 73 years old did not want any fuss they did not call a ambulance and he was on the ground roaring his heart out with pain. Never would I wish the holiday we had on anyone . Plus so many steps around this hotel and I asked so many times to get a ground floor apartment to no avail. Unless on the second last day we wanted to walk more steps to a tiny apartment. I thank I am home and this hotel turned me off holudays for life. Gwen. .

Really nice hotel. Couldn't fault the staff - really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was great for us - really spacious and had everything we'd need. The complex is on a hill so lots of steps to get around - there are ramps but we found these steep with a buggy. Breakfast was ok but would have expected a higher standard- fruit options were limited, hot breakfast options were sitting under lamps for a while so often were overcooked. Fruit juices weren't fresh. Pastries were generally tasteless. The pool was absolutely spotless and there was a lifeguard on duty at all times. The pool doesn't open until 11am which was late for us with a young daughter. There is a playground but it could go with a refresh- there is a playground nearby which we went to rather the one onsite. There is a gym which is basic - 4 cardio machines and a dumbell tower. The complex is quiet but a short walk to the promenade/beach. Approx a 45 minute walk to puerto del carmen, or 5 euro in a taxi.

Excellent location for a week away with 5 year old granddaughter and family. Hotel was clean and very well presented with friendly staff , good food would recommend to anyone.

We came here for the first time, so we were not sure what to expect. Usually we stay elsewhere in Lanzarote and this hotel has replaced our usual one which is not too far from this hotel.We had a fantastic week. This hotel is so welcoming and the staff are just excellent and so good at what they do. The rooms and complex are kept absolutely spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant twice and it would have been more but we made the mistake of eating out and paying a lot more for food that was far inferior to the food in the restaurant, they say that there are themed nights, but here is a great selection of foods for all tastes.We cannot wait to return.

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience. I am a very light sleeper so had requested a villa in a more 'quiet' location at the complex and this was listened to by the beautiful staff at Illunion Costa Sal. I have no complaints to make at all. I slept like a baby. Villas are spotless and are kept spotless by the friendly and hard working house keeping team. All the staff work so hard and could not do enough for us. They made us feel welcome and by the end of our stay, it felt more like a second home. The restaurant is lovely and all the staff and chefs are wonderful. The pool is stunning. If you want pure relaxation then this is the place for you. Thank you to the amazing reception team for all your help and a special thank you to the blonde, curly haired receptionist (I did not catch her name, sorry), who made us feel like family and to Francesca also. But all of the receptionists were amazing We will be back 100%. ＜3 Thank you so much Illunion Lanzarote.
