Alle Mitarbeiter.innen (Empfang, housekeeping, Küche) waren äußerst hilfsbereit und erfüllten unsere Wünsche prompt. Unser Zimmer 904 DZ superior war groß, hell , mit getrenntem Waschbereich und Dusche/Wc im Bad. Die Betten samt Kopfkissen perfekt, das Frühstück grandios, Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet man wird unaufgefordert gefragt. Eine Vielzahl an frisch gepressten Säften , frischem Obst, warmen Speisen, süßen Kleinigkeiten und diversen Kaffeespezialitäten ect. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Der Costanera Sky Tower ist fussläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Am Hotel rechts um die Ecke hält der Hop on - hop off Bus, mit dem man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten entspannt anfahren kann. Da unser Fug erst abends angesetzt war, fragte ich nach der Möglichkeit eines Late-Check-outs. Auch das wurde ermöglicht, bis 14 Uhr kostenlos, danach pro Std. 15 €. Dadurch war es ein entspannter Tag in Santiago de Chile und ein geglückter Transfer von Valparaiso zum Flughafen von Santiago de Chile.

We arrived at the Abba Presidente on 7 January after cruising South America. Even though our travel agent had inadvertently scheduled us for January 7, 2025, Daniella welcomed us into the hotel, and gave us a room until we sorted the reservations out. The location is ideal just a few hundred metres down the avenue is a large mall. The Costanera Center. This enormous centre has every store. You can possibly imagine over multi levels in addition, a huge food court, which includes dine in restaurants, such as Chile, Tony, Roma, and many others. In the short walk from the hotel to the mall, you will encounter Street vendors with many local, artisan, crafts, clothes, etc. approximately 5 km from the hotel, and the uptown area will get you into the downtown anne Moore historic area where many tours are available to show you around and explain the history of this magnificent city. Taxis, Ubers are available, but we chose to walk and it was an easy walk, uncomfortable, and safe sidewalks to the city centre. In the morning, you can wake up from seven till 10 to very good buffet, breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more. I did find the coffee, a bit strong, but that’s my personal taste. The English spoken to me by the staff was excellent and for this I was very grateful as my Spanish is very bad. It didn’t take long to straighten out my reservation and the manager assured me that all was good. the room we had was more than adequate very spacious with a small sitting area a nice bathroom, a large and comfortable bed, good air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi. I could not have asked for more .The front desk staff organized my taxi to the airport on my departure date without trouble I would definitely stay in this hotel again if and when I return to Chile.!!!

Erste Vegan-Bewertung. Meine Frau und ich sind Vegan und wir hatten nicht viel erwartet. Erster Tag hatten sie wenig Kartons Mandelmilch, aber nach diesem Tag hatten sie keine mehr. Sie haben verschiedene Früchte, Beeren, Cantaloupe, keine Bananen, das ist merkwürdig. und einige nicht frische Früchte wie Pinien in Sirup. Sie haben auch Kaffee und Tee. Oranges, die Sie mit heißem Wasser aus dem Nestle Kaffeemacher heißes Wasser machen können. Getreide wie Maisflacken und trockenes Brot. Badewanne geschlossen ”unter Wartung” schlechte Dinge: Zimmerschlüssel bleibe fehl. Muss es mehrmals reprogrammiert werden. Toilette schlägt nicht gut, musste es mehrmals tun. Seifenbaren sind klein und nicht sehr schwach. Kann das Wasser sein, aber nicht sicher. Kein kostenloses Kaffee im Zimmer, nur eine warme Wasser-elektrische Kettle Pros: Sauberes Zimmer. Guter Service. Über die Straße von einem Starbucks, Gemüsegeschäft. Gehstrecke von Bars/Restaurants. Insgesamt, eine gute Option für ein Budget-Hotel.

Wir haben 2 Nächte nach einer Kreuzfahrt dort übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man in die Stadt kommen möchte. Andererseits ist die Lage gerade in den momentanen unsicheren Zeiten wiederum optimal. Recht zentral aber doch weit genug weg und schneller Anbindung an die großen Strassen Richtung Flughafen. ;-) Das Hotel selbst ist sehr groß und unser Zimmer in der 3. Etage (359) relativ klein. Da wir gerade von einer 5 wöchigen Kreuzfahrt kamen hatten wir schon etwas Probleme die Koffer zu öffnen. Etwas unprofessionell fand ich, dass bei Ankunft die Badutensilien nicht vollständig waren. Shampoo und Bodylotion war vorhanden aber Seife und Duschzeug fehlte. Am darauf folgenden Tag war dann das Toilettenpapier nicht aufgefüllt und erst nach 3x nachfragen an der Rezeption kam noch welches. Wir haben 2 x in der Lobby gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Preise sind schon hoch aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel angemessen. Frühstück draussen am Pool war etwas kühl aber das Ambiente schön. Hier sollte man ein stärkeres Auge auf das Buffet haben. Heruntergefallene Löffel (im Honig) oder sonstige ”Unfälle” werden kaum bemerkt. Ansonsten ist das Angebot nur normaler Durchschnitt für ein 5 Sterne Hotel aber die Bedienungen waren ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Gefährlich fand ich den Fußweg von der Straße links und rechts hoch zur Eingangstür des Hotels. Durch die merkwürdigen Stufen und die gelben Streifen bin ich mehrfach fast gestürzt.

I loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of ”Good Morning Madame.” Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night. There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix. The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish. Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

Das war nicht unsere übliche Wahl für Santiago, aber wir hatten in der Nähe Treffen und nahmen eine Chance. Die Nachbarschaft, in der Almasur wohnt, ist eine freundliche und freundliche Nachbarschaft mit einem charmanten Platz von Restaurants, Cafés und Bars. I was excited about staying in this new and modern hotel during my trip to Chile this month. I was ready to overlook the location- being far from the historic sites. The fact that the hotel is attached to a nice modern mall with a grocery store made it very appealing. However, the positive sides stop here, and I must mention that one of the doors, leading to the hotel from the mall wouldn't open- my card was working but the door was stuck. So, I had to go back 5 floors of escalators, exit the mall and walk into the hotel's street entrance- all this carrying a heavy bag with my purchases. The biggest shortcoming for this hotel is the Front Desk and the hotel’s concept that all guest’s calls have to go through the desk. And although the nice employees who work there try very hard, the desk is severely understaffed. I waited for a long time to check- in as there was only one person on duty. Someone else finally came to check me in. They say that the first impressions are very important and in this case they set the tone for my stay. Problems with logging into the internet( the employee who checked me in forgot to add me to the system) and the room TV that I had to solve right after I got into my room; even had go to the Front desk for because no-one picked up the phone. And all that after traveling for 24 hours and being very tired from my journey. This morning I again tried to get in touch with the Front desk for another issue, but again no one picked up the phone. I know that if I go to the desk I will have to wait for a very long time to be served only to be told that I need to wait in my room. Because of the many unlicensed taxis in Santiago, the hotel's staff told me at check-in that all trips should be arranged through- yes, you got it, through the Front desk! And what they do it reserve a vehicle and driver with a private company the hotel works with, for 4 times the price of a regular taxi. I used taxis a few times after that (the vehicles with the yellow roof), and didn't have any problems. So, it's the hotel that overcharges its guests with claims that all taxis in town are a scam. And yes, there is no direct phone for the housekeeping department, or for the restaurant, all calls should go through the Front desk, so expect that your call may not be answered on the first, or second try. The breakfast, although seemed plentiful and nice, is of a very low quality. The eggs were semi- raw, the quiche- a few days old. And so were all the pastries. The fruit consisted of a few chunks of what seemed like an old watermelon, wrapped in a small bowl. And at the end of each meal I was given a bill check to sign, even though breakfast was included in my room rate. What this meant was to urge the guests to give tip to the restaurant staff. My plans were to return for a few more days after I travel around Chile, but I cancelled my reservation and booked a different hotel. On the plus side, my room was large, the A/C worked well, beautiful

I travelled to Santiago by myself, and, as it is s very big city, I was worried about staying at an unsafe location. However, I am pleased to say that the area around the hotel seemed really organized and secure, and the path to the metro station is very short and easy. About the hotel itself, the room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, a safe, a very large TV and a desk. Wi-Fi worked well (of course, not exactly perfect, but good enough), and the bathroom facilities also were perfectly adequate. The staff were kind and always ready to answer my questions and give me recommendations. Therefore, I am pleased to be able to recommend Capital Bellet to whomever wants to visit Santiago!

Ausgezeichnete Lage, freundliches und zuverlässiges Personal, saubere Zimmer mit vielen Einrichtungen. Wir schätzten die gut gespeicherte Küche, komplett mit heißem Wasserkocher, und WiFi und Reinigungsservice. Es war heißes Wetter in Santiago, so dass wir auch die Fans geschätzt haben und dass die Fenster offen und Schatten gezogen, um unser Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft zu kühlen.
