The rooms are beautiful and have views of the water. It is a bit of a walk to any shopping or restaurants but its also more quiet and serene.

Hotel is conveniently located close to the historic district. We liked our room. Breakfast was excellent with a very full selection. In terms of dislikes the room had no USB charging ports so charging phones was an issue.

For breakfast, if not included with room price the folks serving breakfast will not even let you sit to eat unless you sign a note for payment. For a four star hotel it is very poor experience. When we suggested this was not courteous we were reminded of hotel policy. Manager Ines or Duarte (area manager) should change this policy. Offer your guests a seat, let them eat and then ask for payments. For three day stay we did not want room service, but the day after the incident the hotel management forced themselves for doing "cleaning" in the room and a staff member walked away with 59 Euros. Very poor experience. Please be careful when choosing this property.

My stay was so good because I could enjoy the river view during my whole saty. That was my first purpose to select this hotel Breakfast was so nice,too.

We had an excellent view of the water. Walking distance to river area and town. Bar and restaurant at the hotel. Very nice shower. Be aware Porto is very hilly.

Location is a 5min walk to Ponte Luis Bridge with lots of nearby restaurant. The riverside is a great place to walk and would recommend crossing the bridge to Gaia. A good 10-15 uphill walk if you want to go the the central area. Hotel service is great! I was given priority check in when I arrived earlier than my checked-in time.

Nice hotel. Comfortable. Location is good if you are ok with walking - approx 15-20 min to get to main attractions. Breakfast very expensive and not worth it.

Too quiet by the hotel. Walk to Ponte Luiz I for restaurants, etc.

This property was built into the walls of the city, right along the Douro River, and is quite unique. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast.

Amazing view of the river and surrounding area. Walking distance to most of the spots we wanted to visit (old town and riverside). Clean, modern and beautifully kept property.
