La struttura è situata davanti al lago. Immersa nella natura è molto suggestiva.
Siamo arrivati intorno alle 18 e purtroppo la piscina chiudeva alle 18:30 per cui non abbiamo avuto tempo di testarla. Offrono servizio di spa gratuita ma i massaggi sono a pagamento.
Il ristorante è ben fornito di alcolici, si mangia discretamente a buffet cucina sia tipica asiatica che internazionale a circa 15€ a persona. Anche la colazione è a buffet; si trovano prodotti dolci/salati e uova cotte al momento.
La nostra stanza (matrimoniale deluxe) era molto carina, su due livelli: nella parte inferiore il bagno ha un concept particolare. Una porta scorrevole ti porta direttamente nella stanza per metà a tetto coperto solo da una retina. Tutto molto bello ma poco pratico e soprattutto c’è il rischio di trovare molti insetti, come nel nostro caso.
Nella parte superiore c’è la stanza da letto, molto confortevole.
La tappezzeria non è del tutto pulita e questo va in contrasto con tutta la struttura.

Wir waren mit den Kindern in zwei tollen Bungalows am Pool und haben das Hotel genossen. Zwei klasse Pools, sehr freundliches Personal und in den Bungalows eine private Dusche und Badewanne unter freiem Himmel - cool. Das Frühstück und Essen war reichhaltig und wirklich gut (da wenige Gäste da waren, war es am Buffet auch angenehm ruhig). Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Minerya, Sighiria und Polonnaruwa gut gelegen. Das Hotel würden wir wieder nehmen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Es war sehr leer, was vermutlich noch an Corona lag. Somit waren weite Teile des Hotels stillgelegt wie z.B. Gym. Da wir nicht für Sport gekommen waren war uns dies allerdings egal. Die Anlage ist sehr schön! Die Zimmer zwei Geschossig und das Essen können wir auch empfehlen. Besonders hervorheben würden wir gerne den "Poolboy" wenn man das so nennen darf. Er hat uns gerne jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und auch mal Vorschläge gemacht und aufgezeigt was alles möglich war. Whirlpool etc. Auch der Restaurant Service war unheimlich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir würden hier jeder Zeit wieder einkehren.

The Hotel is no longer what it used to be. It can be clearly seen it is run with an inadequate staff level. Hence service level is poor if there is even a moderate crowd. Et Even though the hotel was not full on the day we checked-in and requesting for an early check-in about an hour before the normal time, they could not give it on time. Further the AC didn't work. The indoor outdoor bathroom was good and the bed was good. Lunch buffet was reasonable but nothing to rave about. Dinner choice was limited. Breakfast choice was the best of the 3 meals. The view from the garden was good except that the main electricity supply line on the road is a distraction to the view. Since there is a limited choice in hotels close to Polonnaruwa and Minneriya National Park this a hotel one would choose by default rather than choice. I hope with the increase if tourism in Sri Lanka the management will refurbish the hotel and increase the staff to provide a better service.

We stayed two days in this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The pool was in a good condition and a great choice after hiking. The rooms where clean and comfortable so that I would choose his hotel again. We also took dinner two times( a la carte and buffet) and the service was great. Over all a nice quiet place with a good view on a big lake and very friendly and helpful people.

Had a rather fulfilling stay at this property during my visit to Polonnaruva area. The property has a very tranquil ambiance and both food and the hospitality at this place was excellent. Highly recommended even when you are visiting with your family or friends.

One of the best hotels Ive been in years. Loved the atmosphere and the hospitality. Food was amazing and the rooms were the best. Enjoyed my time with friends and the staff was super nice. I highly recommmend the hotel for a fab getaway with your family or friends. This hotel is simply the best❤️
