Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer grosszügig und die Betten bequem. Die Dusche hat null Druck und daher ist es noch mühsam den Sand gut abzuspülen. An einem Tag wurde das Zimmer geputzt aber Duschteppich und Handtücher statt ausgetauscht einfach mitgenommen. Am nächsten Tag (verlängerungsnacht) kam einfach niemand mehr putzen obwohl wir extra die Tafel vor der Tür hatten. Beim bargeldlosem Zahlen war es immer das gleiche Problem. Sobald man die Zimmernummer angab hiess es, es ist kein Kredit drauf. Jedesmal mussten sie der Reception anrufen. Ich war im Bad bei der Reception, dort konnte ich den Wasserhahn nicht mehr abstellen. Ich war in der Toilette beim Häuschen vor den beiden Restaurants neben dem Pool. Dort konnte ich nicht spühlen. Das Frühstück war ok aber auch dort mussten wir immer dem Tee, Café und Saft nachjagen. Ich denke das Hotel hat noch ziemlich viel Luft nach oben. Was mir aber super gefallen hat, war der kurze Weg zum Strand. Dieser war echt toll und besser als erwartet. Man konnte super darin Schwimmen wenn man die kleine Brandung überwunden hat. Mit kleinen Kindern würde ich aber abraten, da der Zug nicht zu unterschätzen ist von den Wellen. Man konnte sogar den Boden sehen und wohin man steht und es war super Sand. Ein Typ vom Hotel hat uns sogar Getränke gebracht was ich genial fand. So konnte man den ganzen Tag am Strand bleiben. Am Abend sind wir immer raus um in verschiedenen Restaurants zu essen. Es gibt ein super italiener „Camparino“ direkt um die Ecke zu Fuss erreichbar und direkt am Strand das Poco Loco auch zu Fuss aber in die andere Richtung erreichbar.

Wir haben nach einer 2 wöchigen Rundreise, die wir über IMAGENES TROPICALES TOURS / San Jose direkt gebucht haben (Geheimtipp, sehr professionell!) noch eine 1 Woche zur ”Erholung” im Wyndham gebucht und waren begeistert. Wie schon in den bisherigen Bewertungen geschildert ist die Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht von Tamarindo sensationell. Vor allem genossen wir jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang im grossen und tollen Infinity Pool. Hinsichtlich der Getränkepreise, insbesondere der Softgetränke, ist tatsächtlich noch ”Luft nach unten”. Andererseits waren wir mit der Qualität und Auswahlt, dem Preis-/ leistungsverhältnis der Speisen sehr zufrieden. Ebenso können wir den Beach Club ”Langosta” aufgrund der tollen Strandlage und der sehr guten Küche empfehlen. Die Angestellen, vor allem Ronaldo von der Pool Bar, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Fazit: Tolles Ferienhotel!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Sehr freundliches Personal, hilfsbereit und sehr gastfreundlich. Sehr saubere Anlage. Wir waren in einer Zeit da, da war noch nicht so viel los. Es war ruhig, man konnte sich gut entspannen. Musste keine Liegen reservieren. Wie in manchen Bewertungen beschrieben, war es auch nicht so laut durch junge Gäste, die ihre eigene Animation machen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.
