This is the worst hotel we’ve ever experienced. We stayed there for two nights and had to constantly fight with the staff to get what we asked for. First, these people are thieves: two days after having left, we noticed we had been charged $26. We understood that was the price for the first night. We paid this hotel in cash and did not get a receipt. This hotel outright STOLE from us, charging us as if we had never shown up when we had ALREADY PAID IN CASH. When writing this review, it has been a month and they still have to refund us. Second, the hot water did not work. Each time we wanted a shower, we had to phone reception and meet staff in our room for thirty minutes. A nightmare. Also, the staff would come in our room with their shoes on, wiping them on our carpet (it was raining and dirty outside). Seriously, who does that? Third, we wanted to have breakfast. Having to take a bus early and seeing how useless the personnel was, we figured we’d better order the night before. It took us twenty minutes. We had to argue with staff: they wanted to charge the breakfast while it was included in our booking! All of that was useless because the next morning, no one knew we had ordered. So we had to wait for 45 minutes to get breakfast and argue again not to pay for it (it was included). To sum this up: avoid this hotel or they will steal from you. PS: we booked through *********** and they are not helping at all with this stealing issue, saying it is “normal”. So avoid *********** as well.

It was a quaint and cosy place. Location isn't their strong suit. It is a cab ride to get to any place at all - restaurants, pubs and sightseeing locations. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms didn't have a ceiling and were open to the room, so privacy is definitely a huge issue even for couples. There is not exhaust either, so it can get a bit confining. Mosquitoes were a huge menace here. Definitely not worth a second visit.

The hotel is in a quiet side street in the center of one of the 'nicest' areas of Phnom Penh, called BKK1. It is a pleasant boutique hotel with rooms on the ground floor around the pool, the first floor and the second floor. 8 rooms have balconies. Sun rises and hit my room (309) around 6am with 7am being the brightest. The rooms are clean, well kept and have a bright and fresh feel. The staff are excellent - take your time speaking as English can be tricky to understand - even for the English sometimes! The staff will assist you in any way they can. The food is excellent. The pool is in the central courtyard with a huge tree in the middle. It is not a lap pool and it is a great way to chill and relax keeping cool with loungers and parasols around the pool. I have moved into an apartment in Phnom Penh but would go and stay there any time and would advise anyone I now coming over to stay there.
