Haustierfreundliche Hotels in Athen

The location is wonderful: within walking distance to all attractions ( 6min to Syntagma Square, 6 min to Monatisraki Squrare, 9min to Plaka...). Hotel is easy to find thanks to sign posted at the corner of Perikleous and Thissios. Very close to restaurants and shopping yet very quiet at night. I had the Pegasus room: it is spacious, with high ceiling, large windows and a balcony. The decor is modern and elegant. Bedding is comfortable, shower is good. There's no front desk receptionist per se, but the cleaning lady was there around 9AM to probably 4PM if you need help with anything. And she is a gem, cheerful and helpful. One drawback: the phone# listed on the voucher doesn't work on weekends (not sure it works on weekdays either) and there's no way to leave a message. I happened to check in on a Monday (3PM is the official time), I tried to contact the hotel on Saturday to get the needed info: tough luck, nobody there to answer the phone. I had to wait till Sunday at 4:40PM to get what I need. When I travel I plan from A to Z myself and it would be nice if I could get whatever info I need more than 24 hrs ahead of time.

The location is great as we’re surrounded by restaurants and minutes’ walk to the vibrant city. We selected a room with an Acropolis view but it’s really just a tiny glimpse of the Acropolis in between buildings. The balcony was not very clean so we didn’t stay out much but the room was clean enough. Thanks for complimentary bottle of wine 🍷 for our honeymoon but too bad we don’t drink 😅 Some local desserts would be nice 😊

This hostel is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle. The front desk staff is friendly, and the rooms are equipped with a hairdryer and a private toilet. There’s a water dispenser on each floor and a study area on the second floor. The room uses a phone-based key system, but it can be a bit glitchy at times. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Wir kamen vor der Check-in-Zeit an, aber das Zimmer war fertig, sodass wir sofort einchecken konnten. Das Zimmer war sauber und zufriedenstellend. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster war nicht so toll, aber das lässt sich nicht ändern. Ich habe mich auch gefreut, eine Espressomaschine zu sehen. Gute Lage, Plaka ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gab das Problem, dass sich der Türknauf im Badezimmer leicht lösen ließ, aber das hat keine Probleme verursacht, also bin ich trotzdem dort geblieben.

I booked a single room and it was larger than expected and the bathroom had a bath. I was on the 9th floor. The room had a city view which was unexpected. There was air conditioning, a kettle a fridge and plenty of space for luggage. There was no coffee available only T. So I bought my own. There was a range of shower wash and body cream. The soap was olive oil soap and very nice. The water in the fridge was not complimentary and I had to pay for it when I checked out. I didn’t book breakfast. It was quite noisy at times on Floor 9 with screaming children and young men congregating chatting and being loud. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well in it. The plug sockets were not near the bed. The pool at the top was brilliant but it was very busy. The views were spectacular and the food in the bar was very good. The staff in the bar were very kind. The hotel is very well situated near train stations but walking is much more interesting! There are some great shops and markets in the area and museums are not far away. It takes about 20 mins to walk into the centre if you enjoy your walk. I recommend junk shops on the walk to the Acropolis.

Atemberaubendes Hotel in hervorragender Lage, in der Nähe von Hop-on-Hop-off-Bushaltestellen und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Dachterrasse ist fantastisch, bietet eine tolle Aussicht und ist komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der Begrüßungssekt bei der Ankunft war eine wirklich nette Geste. Ich konnte früh einchecken und spät auschecken, was ich sehr zu schätzen wusste. Ich würde dieses Hotel bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Athen jederzeit wieder buchen.

Tolle Lage, da alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (einschließlich Kerameikos und Filopappou-Hügel) zu Fuß erreichbar sind – auch außerhalb des Haupttouristengebiets, was ein Pluspunkt war. Dachterrasse auch zum Ausklingen des Tages angenehm. Die Hotelausstattung ist begrenzt: WLAN, nur Internet-TV (bei mir musste man sich mit eigenen Daten anmelden), Klimaanlage, Tee/Kaffee, kostenloses Mineralwasser. Option zum kalten Frühstück (Festpreis 10 € – nicht 8 €, wie auf der Website angegeben). Die Abholung vom Flughafen kostet jetzt ebenfalls 50 € (mehr als derzeit auf der Website angezeigt). Die Zimmer sind modern, aber meines sah langsam etwas abgenutzt aus. Theoretisch handelte es sich um eine „Suite“, die für vier Personen geeignet war (zwei kleine Zimmer), aber diese wäre extrem eng geworden, insbesondere da jedes Zimmer nur über einen „platzsparenden“ Kleiderschrank verfügte. Aus der Wand ragende Garderobenstange mit einem Spiegel davor und ohne weiteren Stauraum sowie einem Schlafsofa im „Wohnzimmer“. Trotz der Beschreibung auf der Website, dass jedes Zimmer (nur) über eine Massagedusche verfügt, hatte meins eine Dusche über der Badewanne. Der Service war durchschnittlich: Die Rezeption war bemüht hilfsbereit zu sein, aber es mangelte an Ortskenntnissen. Das Bett wurde jeden Tag gemacht, aber Tee/Kaffee/Wasser wurden nicht aufgefüllt und gebrauchte Gläser und Tassen wurden nicht gereinigt. Trotzdem WURDEN die Handtücher täglich erneuert und es gab keine Möglichkeit (Karte oder anderer Mechanismus), dies zu verhindern. Ich war überrascht: Anscheinend ist das Sparen von Wasser und Energie dem Hotel völlig entgangen. Fazit: Im Vergleich zu anderen Preisen und in anderen Gegenden Athens habe ich einen angemessenen Betrag bezahlt, aber angesichts der Bewertungen hatte ich mehr vom Hotel erwartet, obwohl ich ehrlich gesagt nicht sagen konnte, dass es schlecht war, sondern nur „durchschnittlich“.

Ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt Erstens haben die Mitarbeiter wiederholt die Zimmergebühr in Rechnung gestellt und das Geld inkonsistent beschrieben (zum Glück hat der Ctrip-Kundenservice dies aktiv kommuniziert und gelobt!). Zweitens war die Zimmerausstattung nicht sehr neu und die Sauberkeit durchschnittlich (wie in der Abbildung gezeigt). Bild) Bei der Kommunikation mit dem Hotel über die oben genannten Probleme ist die Einstellung des Hotelpersonals im Allgemeinen nach der Lösung des Problems, es ist jedenfalls nicht besonders zu empfehlen. Wir sollten uns darauf konzentrieren, den Kundenservice von Ctrip dafür zu loben, dass er sehr effizient ist, Probleme aktiv löst und Steuern und Gebühren erstattet.

Da es unsere Flitterwochen waren, war dies unsere erste Buchung und es war nahezu perfekt. Die Lage war nicht ideal, da es abgelegen war, aber das Hotel war sehr schön und hatte alles, was wir brauchten.

The exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
