Special occasion for our wedding anniversary and well looked after by the Hilton Parmelia staff, and it’s always nice to see long time staff and the meet new. While diamond HH, we were upgraded to a beautiful Kings parlor room for the weekend, had an amazing breakfast in our room, and we always find the executive lounge enjoyable as a relaxing place to go and the food offered is often varied. We enjoy the Samuels restaurant and bar food menu, but I do miss the Caesar salad from the pre covid days. It used to be the best. We have stayed at other Perth hotels, including the DT but the Parmelia still comes out tops for us. Thank you for making the weekend so special.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Wir fanden dieses Hotel so reichhaltig und schön. Reine Klasse und außergewöhnliche Service ab der Minute, die wir für den Valet Parkplatz gezogen haben. Wir essen in der wunderschönen Firewater Grille. Die Menüwahl, Weinauswahl und Service war wirklich erste Klasse. Die Mahlzeiten wurden perfekt gekocht. Hubby hatte eine Racke von Lamm und ich hatte Fisch des Tages. Wir wurden angeraten, unser Zimmer (Junior Club Suite) war bereit und waren angenehmen überrascht, wenn es zu betreten, wie geräumig es war. Das Fernsehen war viel größer als erwartet, die Pfosten auf den Betten waren einige der besten, die wir je erlebt haben, und das Bett selbst war sehr komfortabel. Die Aussichten aus unserem Zimmer waren schön, die Swan River über Südperth ausblickten. Die Nachtblicke waren mit allen Lichtern erstaunlich. Wir hatten Club-Zugang, der auch für uns perfekt war. Wir verbrachten fast zwei Stunden dort auf einem Fenstertisch, der die schönen Nachtlichten genießte, chatte, entspannte und genießte die sehr großzügige Auswahl von Sofas, Wein und Spirituosen. Auch der Service dort war unverschämt. Das Frühstück im Firewater Grille bietet fantastische Speisen, warm und kalt und es gab nichts mehr, was wir hätten gewünscht. Der erstaunliche Service durch das Personal setzte sich über unseren gesamten Aufenthalt fort. Das Personal des Duxton Hotels ist für ihren hervorragenden Service und Aufmerksamkeit auf Details zu loben. Ich war so beeindruckt. Machen Sie sich einen Gefallen und behandeln Sie sich für einen kurzen oder langen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. Ich garantiere Ihnen, dass Sie wirklich vernichtet und gemacht werden, um sich besonders zu fühlen.

Stark empfehlen Sie diese Unterkunft. Willkommen von hilfsbereitem Personal, das aus ihrem Weg geht, um Sie komfortabler zu machen. Nichts ist zu schwierig für sie. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit Schalenblättern. Perfekt gekocht und präsentiert Frühstück mit einer breiten Palette von Optionen.

Besonders gefallen hat uns der Service im Restaurant, die Damen waren sehr hilfsbereit gerade auch für unsere kleinen Kinder, auch an uns persönlich interessiert, und haben den Aufenthalt dort unvergesslich gemacht. Gutes Frühstück und schöne frische Kaffee-Auswahl. Und vom Manager gab es am Tag der Abreise sogar noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Ausgezeichnet! Das Zimmer zur Sonnenseite hin war nur etwas zu warm, was aber mit Hilfe der Klimaanlage täglich schnell behoben war. Der Flur wurde gerade frisch renoviert, auch das ein positives Zeichen, und die gute Lage in der Nähe von Bushaltestellen und vom Chinatown Bereich und Northbridge. Preis-Leistung ausgezeichnet!

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Große, hausgemachte Elektronik, Badewaschmaschine und Badewanne, Küchengeräte sind auch sehr vollständig, mit speziellen Büro- und Speisetisch, besonders nahe am Kings Park, gute Umgebung im Inneren und Außen

From the moment we arrived to the last second of our 2 night stay we were treated like royalty, the room was luxurious with well appointed amenities and soft luxurious bedding. The view is to die for looking out over perth city and the Swan River, and really is breathtaking of a night time. The hotel has a vast amount of thing to entertain you so realistically no need to leave, (and we didnt). Everything is within walking distance so it is very well situated. The pool area is divine with infinity pools and 2 jacuzzi's for those slightly cooler days. The bars and restaurants are excellent with a wide variety of food and drinks to satisfy every craving! Even if it is some dirty old mcdonalds haha. Overall this experience was a 6 star experience. Definitely one we will be doing again very soon in the future.

Ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt im Local Hotel. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und untergebracht. Wir hatten die Pläne, eine Nacht auf Rottnest Island zu verbringen, bevor wir zwei Nächte im Hotel anreisen, und sie erlaubten uns freundlich, unser Gepäck einen Tag früh zu lagern. Es war so ein großer Gefallen und machte unsere Reise viel bequemer. Als wir ankamen, war unser Gepäck bereits in unserem Zimmer, was ein schöner Kontakt war. Das Zimmer selbst war stilvoll und modern. Wir haben für ein Eckeszimmer gewählt, das drei große Fenster hatte, füllte den Raum mit natürlichem Licht. Das Licht im Zimmer war auch gut gemacht, schuf ein angenehmes Ambiente. Obwohl die Toilette und das Badezimmer geteilt wurden und es etwas Lärm aus der Musik der Bar gab, war die Gesamterfahrung angenehm. Diese kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten wurden durch die positiven Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts überschattet. Im Allgemeinen denke ich, das Local Hotel ist ein schöner Ort zu bleiben. Wir hatten eine schöne Erfahrung.

this is a relax space for slowing down life speed. good environment although there is not much facility but the atmosphere is good to rest and reset body. there is a restaurant provides food daily without going far away in good price and quality. comfortable bed inside room and tidy. a coffee machine with free coffee for guests is warmly welcomed. highly recommended and considered will come again with my family.
