Wir blieben hier zwei Nächte nach einem 17-Stunden-Flug von London Heathrow nach Perth, nachdem wir mehr als eine halbe Stunde für unsere Gepäck warten, haben wir ein Taxi in dieses Hotel und der Service war sehr gut. Wir nahmen ein und gingen in unser Zimmer, wo es Tee und Kaffee in dem Zimmer verfügbar war. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten waren komfortabel wie die Kuchen bis zum Standard des Holiday Inn rund um die Welt. Wir gingen nach Ivy und Jack, die am Hotel beigefügt ist. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber mehr wie Aktienplatten und gut für den gelegentlichen Getränk als ein Hauptmahl. Ich glaube, das ist, wo sie das Frühstück servieren, wenn Sie ein Frühstückspaket mit dem Hotel haben. Dieses Hotel ist im Herzen der Stadt so nahe zu allem, aber nicht viele Restaurants zu essen während des Abendessens. Die meisten Hotels scheinen nur zu Service-Fühlen oder zu späten Nachmittagssnacks.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Das Sebel West Perth bot während meiner letzten Reise eine preisgünstige Unterkunftsmöglichkeit, die es mir ermöglichte, mitten im Herzen der Stadt zu übernachten, ohne mein Budget zu sprengen. Das Personal im Sebel West Perth war freundlich und effizient. Die Lobby und die öffentlichen Bereiche des Hotels waren zwar nicht übermäßig luxuriös, aber ordentlich und gepflegt. Der Check-in verlief schnell und das Personal stand für alle Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer waren zwar einfach, aber sauber und hatten alles Nötige für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung war zwar nicht die modernste, erfüllte aber ihren Zweck. Das Bett war bequem genug, um nach einem Tag voller Stadterkundungen gut schlafen zu können. Die Lage des Hotels war zweifellos das stärkste Verkaufsargument. Dank der Lage direkt im Stadtzentrum sind beliebte Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel leicht zu erreichen. Dieser Komfort ermöglichte es mir, meine Zeit in der Stadt optimal zu nutzen, ohne viel für den Transport auszugeben.

Große, hausgemachte Elektronik, Badewaschmaschine und Badewanne, Küchengeräte sind auch sehr vollständig, mit speziellen Büro- und Speisetisch, besonders nahe am Kings Park, gute Umgebung im Inneren und Außen

Fantastische Lage ! Wach auf einen schönen Hafenblick , frische Luft , direkt gegenüber dem Fährbahnhof , wo Sie nur auf dem Fähre zu überqueren gegen CBD , Zentrum , Chiantown usw. in nur 10 Minuten Fahrt ! Hotel ist sauber, neu, voll ausgestattet mit Küchenzeile, Parkplatz ist verfügbar, auch gibt es eine kostenlose Waschmaschine und Trockner auf Ebene 2 und BBq-Pit, die war wunderbar

Das Beste gibt es in Perth ! super sauber, modern, Wortklasse Essen, Dienstleistungen und auch Huuuuge ****** für diejenigen, die ihr Glück versuchen wollen ‘ wunderbares Platz zu sein, sind die Preise angesichts der Qualität, die Sie hier erhalten

Das Landschaftszimmer im Fluss, das Hotel ist eine neue Dekoration, das Zimmer ist sehr gut konzipiert, die Benutzung ist sehr gut, die Tür ist schwer, die Qualität der Fleischstücke ist hoch, die japanischen Fleischgeräte sind, das Zimmer ist zwar nicht groß, aber mit einem Platzplatz ausgestattet, der Raum ist viel zu groß, Die Service und die Rezeption sind freundlich und intim, im Allgemeinen gut, in Perth ist der Preis für die Berechnung sehr hoch. Pinsel: Das Wasser ist zu klein, um das Gesicht auf der Oberseite des Drachens zu waschen; der Korridor ist offen gestaltet, es gibt einen besonders großen Wind in der Nacht, die ganze Nacht schläft die Tür schwer; es gibt nicht viele Auswahlen für Frühstück und die Lebensmittelqualität muss verbessert werden.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE BIG4 … LOOK ELSEWHERE Recently, my wife and I stayed at Big4 Perth Midland Tourist Park. This without doubt would have to be the worst Big4 caravan park that I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a few being a Big4 Member. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it is an absolute disgrace to the name of Big4 who would do well to distance themselves from this park. Many of the permanent’s sites, of which there are many, are nothing short of hovels which should be condemned; the ablutions whilst old, really need some proper cleaning and not just a lick and a promise. Hand soap in the ablutions was hit and miss, and garbage bins were continually overflowing and reeked of rotten food (prawns heads, crab shells etc) in the heat. The bins need to be either replaced more often as they become full or moved to a more central area away from sites, and if the permanents must walk a short way to put their rubbish in the bin, then so be it … having them parked outside their vans bringing flies and vermin is unacceptable especially in the heat of summer. Our site had a gutter that was so high that it caught our grey water outlet as we backed in twisting it 90 degrees, but thankfully not breaking the outlet. When we leave, again we expect the high gutter will catch the outlet again and hopefully not break it. Despite the check-in documents saying there is to be no washing of cars and caravans, several times we saw both permanents and campers doing just that … washing their cars etc … no intervention by staff was ever observed telling people to stop this practice. We needed consistent WI-FI as we were selling our house and needed contact both with sales agency and solicitors to facilitate the sale … but the Internet was “spotty and intermittent” every single day of our stay, even in the early hours of the morning when fewer people would be using it. Numerous times a day, I had to reboot my laptop which was extremely disappointing and frustrating when the booster was less than 10 metres from where our caravan was situated. Whilst the staff were fabulous, and accommodating, and the rates competitive, it did not make this stay worth coming back … we will never stay here again. For those looking at staying here, look elsewhere … it is a disgrace!
