Ich habe Pattaya schon oft besucht, weil ich Thailand mag, aber es war das Resort, mit dem ich am zufriedensten war. Wie der Name InterContinental schon sagt, waren die Einrichtungen gut und obwohl es etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt war, war die Aussicht großartig. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Pattaya komme, möchte ich es wieder besuchen!

Nachdem die Einreiseregeln für Thailand gelockert wurden, haben wir uns auf das Royal Wing riesig gefreut. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wenn auch noch nicht so viel Betrieb wie vor Covid war, so waren wir doch erfreut viele bekannte Gesichter beim Personal wieder zu sehen. An der Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Staff hat sich nichts geändert und wir geniesen unsere 6 Wochen (die Hälfte ist bereits vorbei) hier. Jeder Wunsch wird uns von den Augen abgelesen, und geht nicht, kennt man hier nicht. Wir freuen uns auf den Rest der Ferien und dieser wird ebenso traumhaft, wie er bislang war. Liebes Royal Wing Team macht weiter so.

Ein sehr luxoriöses Hotel in einwandfreiem Zustand ohne irgendwelche Mängel. Perfekt geschultes freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Haus in einmaliger Lage mit Fernblick über das Meer auf die Inseln usw. Besser geht es nicht. Äußerst sicher. Wie ein Condo mit Schranke und Security. Leider sehr isoliert und etwas abgelegen. Um in die Stadt zu kommen braucht man immer den Shuttlebus des Hauses oder ein Taxi. Zu Fuß nur was für Wanderer.

This was our second visit to this hotel and now with friends in 2-bedroom apartment. Both bedrooms had their own full bahtrooms. All rooms in Beach terrace face west to evening sun and directly to sea. Apartment had 2 balconies (with sunbeds in the other) and we got water several bottles every day although didn'r want cleaning as often. Breakfast was generous and it was great to be able to choose eating outside. The area with all 5 Royal Cliff hotels is just great just outside of the hassle in the center! Lots of well kept green areas with palms, many restaurants and private beach with sunbeds. Pool areas were also great with infinity pools with glass wall (and also partial glass floor). There are many restaurants in the near area also outside the hotels. To the center of Pattaya (walking street/beach) was aroud 20 min walk over the hill. If you should hope for something, that would be more storage space in a room like wall hooks and hangers. Also a drawer would fit in room. All in all, very much worth the money and we will go back when back in Pattaya

This is our first time in Pattaya and before staying here, we stayed in downtown Pattaya at the Hard Rock which is a great hotel, however the difference in feeling and relaxation is noticeable. For us downtown just didn’t hold much attractions. It’s several hotels on one resort property giving it large scale with amenities like serene private beaches, beautiful multiple pools, bars and restaurants. We visited in December and fortunately it wasn’t too busy however even getting a sun loungers at the beach or by the pool was a challenge. Somehow e of the pools (by Royal Cliff grand hotel)i is in the shade so water is quite cold and seating there is plentiful however in summer perhaps this changes. Restaurants are not all open since Covid. But there’s still plenty of options to dine in. Maharani served beautiful Indian cuisine that we really enjoyed for dinner. Panorama opens 24H a day and serves international cuisine. We had fried rice and some Thai dish here and thought food was just okay. Breezeo their seafood restaurants by the beach has Happy Hour every day from 3 pm to 5 pm with half price alcoholic drinks and serves a really good Mai Tai. Sunset terrace bar is our favorite, it has Happy Hour every day from 5 pm to 7 pm (half price on alcoholic drinks) serves beautiful cocktails. If you have a longer stay and get bored by the options, you can walk down the beach towards the neighboring beach, that opens up more opportunities to dine outside the hotel. We tried 3 mermaids which were pretty good but we actually prefer to just dine in and enjoy inhouse bars and restaurants instead. Pricing at all their restaurants is actually really affordable and inexpensive considering it’s a big hotel group. One area that needs attention is communication with local staffs which frequently seems to get lost in the translation. During our stay, most of the guests were foreigners so it could be quite frustrating when the staff just didn’t understand you at all. A simple question like “where is the restroom” was unable to get an answer! The resort seems to be trying to be a green hotel, so they put recycling bins everywhere which is really good. Perhaps they could use glass water bottles instead of plastic as a better recycling options Will we visit again? Definitely YES! Because we absolutely love the serenity of the resort and their gorgeous pools!

This is a lovely place to stay in Pratumnak. It’s very close to the beach. There is this lovely chocolate factory, which is a must to visit. Try going for the sunset. Now I would like to clarify something which none of the hotel sites nor their own website mentions it, not sure why though. This is not a hotel neither a service residence/apartment. These are apartments which are for sale, the ones which are not sold, the company is listing it for guests to book just like a hotel room. We had booked a 2-bedroom sea view apartment. When one reads apartment, one imagines it has all the necessary things which you will get in an apartment. This is where I need to make it very clear, this is not a serviced apartment/residence as the property does not allow any cooking at all. The property has disconnected the hotplate. All you get is cutlery, microwave and a kettle that's it. There is no toaster too. If you are okay not able to cook, this is a lovely place with a gorgeous view of the sea. No washer/dryer in the 2-bedroom sea view room. I did find the bedroom relatively small especially moving in and out of the bed. We had a Jacuzzi in the balcony which was lovely after a long day in the sun. The furnishing was top notch I must say. Very luxurious and well decorated living room/dining room. Service and staff were amazing. I would like to thank one of the staff in particular, Ms June who was very gracious and kind. There was one lady (next to Ms June) who refused to provide her name. Her brashness and the way she spoke was unacceptable. The afternoon/evening shift staff, there was this one gentleman who spoke rudely with my father and brother. When Thailand is best known for its kindness & hospitality, I would request the management to get them trained. So, if you are looking for a place to cook, this is not the place, yes there are several restaurants nearby or order food through Grab. If you don't mind the cooking part, the 2 bedrooms with a sea view was great. I loved doing my morning 5 am exercises in the balcony. We did go to the pool during our stay. What a view it was. There is also a Sauna room. Overall, I would rate my stay at 8/10, I just did not appreciate how the lady & gentleman spoke to us. Unable to cook as my father has special dietary requirements and WIFI does not reach the master bedroom. These are my reasons as why I rated it 8/10 Once again, a big thank you to Ms June for her amazing kind-heartedness and politeness. We did get a check-in around 11am after a very long flight from London to Bangkok. After our 4 days stay at the Elysium Pratumnak, we stayed for 3 nights at the Somerset Pattaya. What a pretty stay we had. Oh, we could cook.

Before booking at Balihai please know the photos are NOT representative of the REAL hotel and you may occur many problems. In all my years of international travel I’ve never experienced confrontational and argumentative staff like at Balihai Bay. At checkin staff wasn’t welcoming with kindness. Khun Nee didn’t ask us questions before telling us to pay for breakfast. Asking her to read the conformation I presented ( paid already) she had no patience and was unprofessional. After checkin the room was nothing like the photos. The twin beds were NOT twin but little single beds (size for 1 child) When I kindly brought this issue to Khun Mei she said “ we changed the room beds”. But I paid for the room on the website, not this! Poor excuse for the false advertising. Rather than trying to resolve the problem together she became argumentative, unprofessional and didn’t offer a solution. I offered the solution of moving to a different room. When checking into new room there was a lack of towels. The housekeeping wasn’t complete. I didn’t bring this to staff’s attention after a difficult check in. Upon checkout the staff didn’t ask questions about the towels but rather accused me of stealing towels. I had another argument with the staff and housekeeping. We learned housekeeping wasn’t finished before we checked in and they simply forgot. But I was accused of stealing and housekeeping wanted money for a bath mat, Which was never in the room in the first place. But the staff never asked about the towels but rather accused. Before booking know the style of the hotel is to argue they are right and you are wrong when a problem arrises. This happened 3 times. All 3 times they were at fault and refused to talk nicely and ask questions and work together to resolve issue. No manager came to help resolve these issues. On a positive note, breakfast was great as was restaurant staff. Bell Boy Khun Dave was fantastic with helping many ways and very kind. He’s the BEST employee!

Sehr alte Hotelanfragen können nicht hängen. Was das Einzelbett oder das King Bed betrifft, ist es nicht tatsächlich verfügbar. Das Hotel verwendet zwei Teile. Ist ein sehr großes Marke Nicht sehr professionell, ich habe kein leichtes Wasser. Das Badezimmer ist sehr alt und hat Farben. Ferien oder Wochenenden, der Preis ist höher als die Realität. Fantastic !! The view of the pool and the sea from the room makes the stay worth the price. Beautiful place with eateries dotted around the place. Picture Perfect. Surreal in the evenings ! Nice decor and a perfect place to destress ! The staff is well trained and courteous, particularly the people working in restaurants. The breakfast is real good with a lot of variation. The food in the restaurants are also tasty. The only limitation is that they do not have wifi connectivity from room which makes life a little difficult in the modern times !! Overall, we enjoyed stating at this property and should we return to Pattaya, this would be our default choice. The rooms would need a bit of renovation , that’s why I reserved one star !

Während des Frühlingsfestes ist es wirklich ungemütlich zu reisen! Das Hotel ist teurer als sonst. Lassen Sie mich über dieses Hotel sprechen. Es liegt am Ende der Fußgängerzone (Kneipenstraße). Das Zimmer, in dem ich im dritten Stock wohne und mein Freund im ersten Stock wohnt, ist sehr feucht! Die im Zimmer hängenden Kleidungsstücke sind nass. Das Hotel ist relativ alt und die Einrichtungen sind laut. Wenn Sie nicht gut schlafen, bleiben Sie nicht hier. Die Musik in der Kneipenstraße ist nachts sehr laut. Zum Glück habe ich geschlafen Nun, und es dauerte fast bis drei Uhr morgens. Es sieht nach etwas aus, also lebe einfach dort, solange es keine Insekten gibt, ist es wirklich feucht! Als ich am nächsten Tag aufwachte, war der Spiegel beschlagen und der Boden nass. Mein Mann und ich hatten beide Ekzeme. Der Pool war schön groß und sehr gut. Das Frühstück war auch gut. Es war das üppigste von allen Hotels, die ich je hatte.

In der ersten Nacht hatte die Elektrik im ganzen Zimmer Probleme, das Licht ging um 1 Uhr morgens aus, das Zimmer musste umziehen, das Hotel zeigte keinerlei Verantwortung. Nur das Personal, das an diesem Abend zur Schicht kam, entschuldigte sich. Was sich schlecht anfühlt, weil ich mitten in der Nacht das Zimmer wechseln muss Es gibt nur sehr wenige Essensmöglichkeiten. Was die Qualität des Essens angeht, ist es kein 5-Sterne-Hotel.
