Das Aparthotel liegt ganz in der Nähe der Akropolis und des Museums, die U-Bahn-Station ist 300 m entfernt und ist von Dienstleistungen wie Supermarkt, Gastronomie und Geschäften umgeben. Das Zimmer war mit einer Küche, Instrumenten und Kaffeemaschine, einem tadellosen Badezimmer und einem unvergesslichen Blick auf die Akropolis (Parthenon) ausgestattet!!
Das Personal ist aufmerksam, höflich, spricht perfekt Englisch und war sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders Lydia, die die höchste Auszeichnung und Punktzahl verdient, die wir vergeben können. Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren ersten Besuch in Griechenland zu einer unvergesslichen Reise gemacht haben. Wir werden Sie bei unserer Rückkehr erneut kontaktieren, denn wir kommen wieder!

GGastnutzerDie Lage ist großartig, eine bessere Wahl für unabhängige Touristen. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite befindet sich eine U-Bahn-Station. Wenn Sie nach Santorini fahren und die Blue-Star-Fähre nehmen möchten, können Sie einfach die Straße überqueren. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, der Service ist großartig und das Frühstück ist zwar nicht sehr abwechslungsreich, aber eher nach unserem Geschmack.

SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Mmaya dalalThe hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes.
As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel.
The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air.
There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed.
There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

AAnonymer BenutzerEs handelt sich um ein traditionelles Hotel; die Ausstattung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber vollständig und sauber, und die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist wirklich schön – ich hatte Blick auf die Akropolis. Das Personal war freundlich, und die Auswahl beim Frühstück war sehr gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die günstige Lage: Die Metrostation und das Neue Akropolismuseum sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, und es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe.

JJonesEdwardOur first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.

UUwe HolgerDie BIlder versprechen mehr, als das Hotel her gibt. Es ist alles schon ein wenig abgewohnt. Wenn man ein Zimmer zur Straße hat, ist es ziemlich laut. In der Küche ist weder Spülmittel, noch Schwamm noch sonst etwas. Unterstützung vom Personal gleich Null. Internetzugang ist auch langsam

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly.
None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly.
The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough.
The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long.
The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
