Location and view are fantastic, facilities are good, there's no denying it's an old hotel and that comes with some quirks and even a few areas that are a bit rough round the edges but it's not advertised as the 5 star hotel it once was. So as a 4 star I'd recommend it to anyone, the staff and cleanliness of room couldn't be faulted!! My only real gripe / area that needs some more immediate attention is please get an EV charger or two!

Das Hotel ist in einer idealen Lage für uns.
Wir waren in einem Zimmer mit herrlicher Meerblick auf jeden Morgen aufwachen. Das Frühstück war sehr hochwertig und gab uns einen großen Start zum Tag. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr sauber und jede Anlage wird verwendet scheint zu einem guten Standard gepflegt.
Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotelzimmern, in denen ich geblieben bin. Das Badezimmer war sicherlich größer als der Durchschnitt und umfasste eine gute Dusche mit viel heißem Wasser unter guter Druck. Selbst wenn die anderen Tapeten verwendet wurden, schien die Dusche völlig unberührt zu bleiben.
Ein paar kleine Details, die unseren Aufenthalt verbessert hätten. Eine Arbeitlift, während unseres Besuchs war es aus der Ordnung. Aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht zerstört. Das andere Details wäre ein kleiner Stuhl (oder ähnlich) im Badezimmer.
Alle Mitarbeiter trafen sich so freundlich, näher und hilfsbereit, sie alle scheinen gerne zu gewährleisten, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt in The Osborne genossen.
Wir nahmen einen Spaziergang um einige der Grundstücke, die alle sehr gut gepflegt scheinen. Wir gingen auch aus dem Grundstück und über die Bucht am Meadfoot, seine tolle Lage zu wandeln und genießen die frische Meeresluft.
Würden wir hier nochmal bleiben?
Wir haben sicherlich bereits über unseren nächsten Besuch gesprochen.

The room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call.
The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy.

Großes Hotel, das Zimmer war schön & so war der Poolbereich! Wir gingen am Wochenende zu Beginn der halben Zeit, so gab es eine Menge Familien und Kinder. Ich habe gehört, dass die Woche besser ist, wenn Sie nicht viele Kinder umgeben wollen, aber für uns war das nicht ein Problem. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und es gibt viele um. Es ist auch in einer tollen Lage nahe dem Strand, Parks & Spaziergang von der Stadt. Wir genossen wirklich unseren Aufenthalt hier :)

The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room.
It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive.
The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

Great service and good food. As we entered, the host was welcoming and showed our room. Our room was very clean and they had strict regulations around smoking. Good choice of breakfast options and vegan options were available too.

DDAVID JOHNSehr schlecht für den Parkplatz, die Schritte des Bereichs, der zum Parkplatz gehen, sind unsicher für Frauen und Kinder, da es Obdachlose Männer schlafen und Jugendliche rauchen ***** im Bereich, Parkgebühren sind sehr teuer bei £10.90 für einen Tag, so war ich dort für Sechs Tage, wo Premier Inn nur £6.90 für einen Tag ist, bei meiner Ankunft an der Rezeption, obwohl ich in Torquay geboren und dort seit 17 Jahren wohnte, aber jetzt in Thailand wohnte ich für meinen Pass gebeten und ich kann Ihnen versichern, ich war nicht glücklich mit,

BBaileyLaurenDie Unterkunft hat unglaubliche Ausstattung zum Preis, den sie bezahlen! Jeder war warm und willkommen und sicherte, dass wir während unseres Aufenthalts jederzeit auf die Pflege gestellt wurden.
Die Zimmer waren komfortable und was man auch erwartet, ein Standardzimmer haben, die Zimmer waren etwas grob um die Kanten und hatten allgemeine Ware und Tränen, aber das hat uns nicht viel stört.
Insgesamt sehr glücklich mit unserem Aufenthalt, und wird wieder kommen.
