Buchen Sie eine letzte Minute Pause und müssen sagen, was ein kleines Gem ist dieses Hotel. Wir wurden von den Besitzern Steve & Wendy begrüßt, die die freundlichsten und nach unten auf Erden Menschen, die Sie jemals kennen lernen würden. Ihre Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details ist zweit bis keiner. Komplimentaren Haus bakewell-Tart, frische Milch, falls erforderlich, und eine sogar ehrliche Bar, wo Sie vertrauen, Ihre eigenen Getränke zu servieren und sich bei der Abreise zu bedienen. Das ist nie zuvor bei jedem Hotelaufenthalt zu erledigen, zeigt nur, was echte gute Leute die Eigentümer sind. Das Hotel ist unschön, geschmacklos eingerichtet und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer vorne. Wir hatten die besten Nächte, die Matratze war sehr komfortabel und das Bettwäsche war von hoher Qualität. Schön frisch gekochtes Frühstück gemacht, um mit zusätzlichen frischen kontinentalen Angeboten bestellt. Dieses Hotel hat uns nicht enttäuscht, dass wir nicht warten können, um wieder zu besuchen.

Great service and good food. As we entered, the host was welcoming and showed our room. Our room was very clean and they had strict regulations around smoking. Good choice of breakfast options and vegan options were available too.

Don’t miss out on this Devonshire Gem From the moment I arrived, the delightful hosts made me feel very welcome and at home The bar/lounge area is the perfect informal place to flop down and relax with a well stocked honesty bar, TV and board games galore Not only was my room comfortable and spotless, but Shona dishes up a lovely breakfast tailored to your own tastes and requirements, she really does make breakfast just for you! Cosy, clean, and with a warm welcome for all, treat yourself to an exceptionally great stay at a reasonable price.

The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!

The room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call. The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy.

Obsługa była miła i pomocna, napewno polecam ten hotel innym. Bliskość morza jest bardzo dużym plusem.

The staff were friendl and attentive despite having several of the cleaners cal in sick - the front desk was able to juggle rooms around so that I could check in. The hotel is a great location for Torquay and breakfast was nice.

A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks

The hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation. Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before. Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.

Großes Hotel, das Zimmer war schön & so war der Poolbereich! Wir gingen am Wochenende zu Beginn der halben Zeit, so gab es eine Menge Familien und Kinder. Ich habe gehört, dass die Woche besser ist, wenn Sie nicht viele Kinder umgeben wollen, aber für uns war das nicht ein Problem. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und es gibt viele um. Es ist auch in einer tollen Lage nahe dem Strand, Parks & Spaziergang von der Stadt. Wir genossen wirklich unseren Aufenthalt hier :)
