Great hotel in a good location. Lovely rooms, friendly atmosphere and great breakfast.

We’re a couple who decided to visit Leeds and booked this hotel last minute. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Customer service was top-notch from start to finish — staff were genuinely helpful and accommodating with every request. The room and all common areas were spotless, which immediately set the right impression. Breakfast exceeded expectations: fresh, well organised, and plenty of choice. The overall environment was great too. The Royal Armouries are right behind the hotel, with lakes surrounding the area, making it a beautiful and relaxing spot. We were lucky to have sunny weather on Saturday, which made it even better. Highly recommended. Solid experience all round.

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen und bietet kostenpflichtige Parkplätze. Diese sind jedoch recht klein, was insbesondere für Fahranfänger oder Fahrer mit wenig Parkerfahrung problematisch sein kann. Das Frühstücksangebot ist relativ einfach, aber Geschmack und Qualität sind gut. Insgesamt ist die Lage günstig, die Parkplatzsituation erfordert jedoch etwas Fahrpraxis.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel in Leeds. Unser Zimmer wurde modernisiert und hatte schöne Einrichtungen. Gute Lage, um überall ins Zentrum zu laufen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Great location,very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.

The staff were incredibly friendly throughout my stay. The room featured a great, powerful, and hot shower, and the breakfast was excellent—especially the delicious croissants! I was particularly impressed by their thoughtful touch of providing a bag so I could take a croissant to-go as a morning snack. Although the building is older, it is very well-maintained. This is easily one of the best Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at in the UK. Highly recommended!

The room is a normal-sized one, equipped with 2 British twin bed (Width: 130~140cm), and it was prepared in an acceptable condition. Air-conditioner is available, but you may find that it need to be turned on for 2~3 times a day, as the system had been set in an economic mode by the hotel. The breakfast is a typically British one, whilst baked mushroom is not provided. Nevertheless, the breakfast tastes good, and you could serve yourself with chocolate croissants, cheese, hot tomato mush, vegetarian-friendly sausages, honey, tinned peaches and coconut yoghurt. Toothpastes and toothbrushes could be ordered with a fee (￡2), thereby you'd better rake your own's. The location is reasonable, since the hotel adjoins the John Lewis shopping mall, and there's only 10-min walk way between the hotel and Leeds coach station. Meanwhile, you may walk to the Victoria and Trinity shopping centres in 15~20 minutes from the hotel, though it might be a bit inconvenient to travel to the nearby downtown by bus, given the lack of bus stops next to the gate of this hotel. Overall, it's a foolproof option for someone who anticipate a lodging experience surpassing the average level there.

Ich spreche von Ihrem eigenen Zahnbürsten, Zahnpasta, Körperlotion usw. Das Hotel wird Ihnen nichts davon, sie haben es im Hotel, aber sie kosten jeweils etwa 3 Pfund! Wenn Sie Ihre wesentlichen Dinge vergessen haben, empfehle ich Ihnen, sich zu überprüfen, ob Sie Stiefel oder Superdrugs kaufen! Das Frühstück ist aber ok. £14 pro Person.

Schönes Hotel und hervorragende Wert, wenn Sie es zu der richtigen Zeit reservieren können. Sehr luxuriös für den Preis, den ich bezahlt habe. Ein wenig auf einem Lieblings-Zugang zum Stadtzentrum von Leeds, aber viele Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe von Headingley. Das Hauptrestaurant im Hotel ist ziemlich hochmarktig, aber der beigefügte Pub The Stables ist ein ausgezeichneter Preis für Geld.

Die Einrichtungen waren gut. Es war ein ruhiges Einzelzimmer, und die Lage funktionierte perfekt für mich diese Zeit. Sie müssen Ihren Essen bekommen, da es kein Essen im Hotel gibt.
