Die Bettdecke im Zimmer war sehr feucht und klebrig und es gab Anzeichen dafür, dass jemand auf einem Bett schlief. Meine Tochter und ich schliefen mit Badetüchern auf dem anderen Bett. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und das Hotel Die Umgebung war sehr gut. Ich wünschte nur, die Bettwäsche könnte verbessert werden.

Das Hotel ist ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu erholen und einen Zwischenstopp einzulegen, bevor man vom internationalen Flughafen Kairo abfliegt. Es ist von Terminal 3 aus über die Verbindungsbrücke leicht zu erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich, insbesondere Aziz, der außergewöhnlich und hilfsbereit war. Wir haben vor unserem Flug morgens einen Tagesausflug gemacht. Das einzige Problem ist, einen Uber zu bestellen und ihn in die Hotellobby kommen zu lassen. Ich weiß nicht, warum, aber mehrere Fahrer haben abgesagt, weil die Station das Ankunftsterminal statt das Hotel abholt. Das Hotel bietet jedoch Shuttles in die Stadt an. Das Frühstück war auch gut und das Personal war fantastisch. Friedliche Atmosphäre abseits der Flughafenlounges und des Chaos am Flughafen.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, während meines Besuchs in dieser großartigen Stadt im Cairo Marriott Hotel zu übernachten, und ich muss sagen, dass es ein Erlebnis von beispielloser Eleganz und zeitlosem Luxus war. Von dem Moment an, als ich die große Lobby betrat, wurde ich in eine Welt der Opulenz und Kultiviertheit versetzt, und jeder Aspekt meines Aufenthalts übertraf meine Erwartungen. Das Cairo Marriott Hotel ist ein wahres Juwel, das historischen Charme nahtlos mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten verbindet. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem atemberaubenden Palast aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und strahlt ein Gefühl von Erhabenheit und Majestät aus. Die sorgfältig erhaltenen architektonischen Details, von den hohen Decken bis hin zu den aufwendigen Holzarbeiten, verliehen dem gesamten Erlebnis ein Gefühl von Romantik und Authentizität. Mein Zimmer im Cairo Marriott Hotel war eine Oase des Komforts und der Vornehmheit. Die großzügige Raumaufteilung, die edlen Möbel und die geschmackvolle Einrichtung schufen eine Atmosphäre der Ruhe und des Genusses. Das Bett war außerordentlich bequem und das Zimmer war mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die man von einem Luxushotel erwartet, darunter ein gut ausgestattetes Badezimmer und eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umliegenden Gärten oder den Nil.

Stayed here for a short trip with friends, hotel is beautiful but not near shops or city center. Inside is absolutely lovely.

Ich habe ein Zimmer gebucht, nur um ein paar Stunden vor meinem nächsten Flug zu schlafen. Aufgrund der Party draußen und der lauten Musik konnte ich nicht schlafen, das ist schrecklich. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gut, mir hat der Shuttleservice und das Abendessen im italienischen Restaurant gefallen.

Es war mein erster Besuch in diesem Hotel in Kairo und es war ein fantastischer! Die Lage ist praktisch, in der Nähe des Flughafens und abseits des geschäftigen Viertels, und dennoch kann man sich aufgrund der zentralen Lage leicht in der Stadt bewegen. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind 20 Autominuten entfernt, und diese Zeit ist in Kairo aufgrund des starken Verkehrs in der Umgebung ganz normal ... Das Personal war super, der Service war mehr als fantastisch, die Frühstücksauswahl war super und sehr lecker, der Pool ist sauber und das Personal war super freundlich und sie sind immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die Rezeptionisten waren alle großartig! Ehrlich gesagt kann ich keinen Fehler bei ihrem Service finden ... alle waren fröhlich, lächelten und waren super hilfsbereit! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen! Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute und dass der Service weiterhin fantastisch bleibt!

What an absolutely wonderful experience I had staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully prepared. The decoration deserves a special mention - it is elegant, tasteful, and full of character. You can really feel that a lot of attention has been given to every little detail, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The residence is located in Zamalek, one of the most beautiful and charming areas of Cairo, and the location honestly could not have been better. The neighborhood has a very special atmosphere: it feels safe, comfortable, lively, and relaxing at the same time. The streets are always animated, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and beautiful corners to discover. There is something interesting everywhere you look, and it truly feels as though every street and every corner has its own story to tell. I had the pleasure of staying here for five nights, and I can confidently say that it became one of the highlights of my entire trip to Cairo. One of my favorite things about the apartment was the beautiful view of the Nile from the terrace. Sitting there and enjoying the view was such a memorable experience, especially after spending the day exploring the city. It gives the apartment a peaceful and almost magical atmosphere that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself. The location is also extremely convenient. Almost everything you could possibly need is just a minute or a few minutes away, whether you are looking for restaurants, cafés, shops, transportation, or simply a nice place to walk around and enjoy the neighborhood. Staying here made exploring Cairo much easier and more enjoyable. However, what made this experience truly exceptional was not only the apartment or the location, but also the amazing people working at the residence. I have rarely experienced such genuine hospitality. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. They genuinely pay attention to the smallest details and do everything they can to make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. A special mention goes to Mazen, whose name I remember, but I would also like to thank the entire team because every single person I interacted with was wonderful. They were always available whenever I needed something, always greeted me with kindness, and sometimes went far beyond what I would normally expect. Their warmth and willingness to help made me feel genuinely welcome rather than simply being another guest. Overall, my five nights here were an unforgettable experience. Between the beautiful and spotless apartment, the tasteful decoration, the incredible Nile view, the perfect location in Zamalek, and most importantly, the outstanding hospitality of the entire team, I honestly could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this residence to anyone visiting Cairo and looking for a place that combines comfort, elegance, an excellent location, beautiful views, and exceptional hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Cairo so special and memorable. First room smelled like cigarettes despite picking no smoking. Second room was an upgrade but it was actually the upgrade I originally paid for. My first room was a downgrade.

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

Ein gutes Hotel, besonders für eine Übernachtung vor einem Flug nach Moskau. Das Frühstück gibt es früh, pünktlich um 5:00 Uhr. Ein Shuttlebus fährt halbstündlich zum Terminal 3. Leider mussten wir von dort aus laufen. Wir kamen spät aus Luxor in Kairo an und verließen den Flughafen durch Ausgang 1, wo der Shuttle zum Novotel halten sollte. Er war aber nicht da. Wir wurden von Taxifahrern belästigt, die uns eine Fahrt zum Hotel anboten, zunächst für 20 Dollar. Schließlich konnten wir den Preis auf 8 Dollar herunterhandeln.
