MMbali ThusiDas Hotel ist ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu erholen und einen Zwischenstopp einzulegen, bevor man vom internationalen Flughafen Kairo abfliegt. Es ist von Terminal 3 aus über die Verbindungsbrücke leicht zu erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich, insbesondere Aziz, der außergewöhnlich und hilfsbereit war. Wir haben vor unserem Flug morgens einen Tagesausflug gemacht. Das einzige Problem ist, einen Uber zu bestellen und ihn in die Hotellobby kommen zu lassen. Ich weiß nicht, warum, aber mehrere Fahrer haben abgesagt, weil die Station das Ankunftsterminal statt das Hotel abholt. Das Hotel bietet jedoch Shuttles in die Stadt an. Das Frühstück war auch gut und das Personal war fantastisch. Friedliche Atmosphäre abseits der Flughafenlounges und des Chaos am Flughafen.

VVon30Stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in I asked the man at the reception if anything else was needed as normally a deposit would be taken. Was told that everything was fine. On the 2nd night we decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the lobby. Food was not prepared as I requested as I ordered steak. The waiter insisted that I sliced through the middle to check it as I ordered medium rare. He agreed that it was overcooked. Took it back and said that they would prepare another order. However, 5minutes later he sent the same steak back to me and mentioned that they checked under proper lighting and it was cooked properly. It was very obvious that it was definitely overcooked and dry. I just accepted it and couldn’t be bothered. Mind you the fries that came with the steak was over fried and hard as rock. I didn’t even eat another piece after trying it. Halfway through chewing on the hard and dry steak. The waiter decided to come back again and ask if everything was fine and if I didn’t like it they could cook me another piece. This was just frustrating and I didn’t want to wait anymore as it was late and I was tired from a full day tour. Finally finished my dinner and asked for the bill. I signed it to the room. The waiter comes back and tells me that I didn’t put a deposit in the room so I had to pay. Mind you I brought no cards or cash since I expected that I could bill to the room. One of us ended up going back to the room to take money to pay for the meal which was embarrassing and unacceptable for our standards. We were staying for 4 nights. On our last night of stay, we came back to the hotel and we were locked out of the room. Had to go back to reception and found out that the person who checked us in didn’t put the correct number of nights. This was truly a disgrace on Waldorf and the receptionist. Obviously your staff at the check in need more training. I have stayed in many international hotels around the world and never face such lowly trained staff at reception that make such mistakes which spoils the image of the hotel.
However, I have to give a huge shoutout to a few people that made my days great. Menna and Apeeo from breakfast were wonderful. Impeccable service from them. However, male staffs showed poor knowledge and were quite lazy as they were more interested in chatting that serving customers. Bellman Sherif was wonderful helping us check out with our luggages and even waited with us for our transport.

GGastnutzerDie Verbraucherpreise im Inneren sind durchaus fünf Sterne, aber eigentlich nicht dieser Standard. Wie soll ich es sagen, es ist seinen Preis wert. Aber der muffige Geruch im Zimmer ist wirklich stark und es gibt viele Orte, die alt sind. Die Kellner sind wirklich freundlich. Versuchen Sie, in diesem Hotel kein Taxi zu nehmen, wenn Sie über die nötigen Sprachkenntnisse verfügen. Der Preis beträgt ein Fünftel des Hotelpreises oder sogar weniger.

GGastnutzerWe stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.

Die Lage ist praktisch, in der Nähe des Flughafens und abseits des geschäftigen Viertels, und dennoch kann man sich aufgrund der zentralen Lage leicht in der Stadt bewegen. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind 20 Autominuten entfernt, und diese Zeit ist in Kairo aufgrund des starken Verkehrs in der Umgebung ganz normal ...
Das Personal war super, der Service war mehr als fantastisch, die Frühstücksauswahl war super und sehr lecker, der Pool ist sauber und das Personal war super freundlich und sie sind immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die Rezeptionisten waren alle großartig! Ehrlich gesagt kann ich keinen Fehler bei ihrem Service finden ... alle waren fröhlich, lächelten und waren super hilfsbereit! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen! Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute und dass der Service weiterhin fantastisch bleibt!

Es ist eine tolle Option für Betriebsausflüge, preiswert und sehr zentrumsnah. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe, und auch die U-Bahn ist schnell zu erreichen.

Ambiente: Typisch für ein Budgethotel, nicht schlecht.

NNik chEin gutes Hotel, besonders für eine Übernachtung vor einem Flug nach Moskau. Das Frühstück gibt es früh, pünktlich um 5:00 Uhr. Ein Shuttlebus fährt halbstündlich zum Terminal 3. Leider mussten wir von dort aus laufen. Wir kamen spät aus Luxor in Kairo an und verließen den Flughafen durch Ausgang 1, wo der Shuttle zum Novotel halten sollte. Er war aber nicht da. Wir wurden von Taxifahrern belästigt, die uns eine Fahrt zum Hotel anboten, zunächst für 20 Dollar. Schließlich konnten wir den Preis auf 8 Dollar herunterhandeln.
