"Es war die erste Unterkunft auf einer Reise mit einem Kind. Ich musste früh aufgrund der Flugzeit prüfen, aber es dauerte mehr als eine Stunde, um zu prüfen. Die Geschwindigkeit und die Antwort, um zu prüfen waren etwas unzureichend. Beim Einchecken wurden Getränke in der Lobby kostenlos geliefert. Das Teppich im Hotel war gefärbt und schmutzig. Der Service war im Allgemeinen ok, und ich mochte die Reinigung des Hotels nicht. Es war schön, neben der Rezeption im ersten Stock eine ATM-Maschine zu haben. Zimmerservice ist im Allgemeinen ok, und das ist nur das für koreanische Geschmackse. Die Lage ist nahe der Stadt, aber es ist nicht einfach zu Fuß zum Tahrir Square. Weil Sie die große Straße überqueren müssen."

"Einfach fantastisch! Üppiges Grün unter den Pyramiden. Umgebung, Service, Sicherheit, Essen, Fitnessstudio, Zimmerservice … alles war ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel bietet einen vorab buchbaren Shuttleservice zu den Pyramiden an. Nach dem Frühstück betraten wir das Hotel direkt gegenüber dem Haupteingang mit Blick auf die Cheops-Pyramide. Es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis an einem heißen Tag. Die Geschichte des Hotels ist selbsterklärend; der Cairo Conference Palace wird derzeit renoviert, und man kann die Außenfassade besichtigen. Das Personal war sehr kompetent, engagiert und hat alle Fragen aufmerksam beantwortet. Wir waren sogar zufällig wegen einer Hochzeit dort, die wunderbar war! Alles war fantastisch! Die Pyramiden sind einen Besuch wert, aber das Marriott MENA mit seinem Blick auf die Pyramiden ist noch lohnenswerter."

"Fairmont liegt am Nil im Zentrum von Kairo und bietet eine gute Verkehrsanbindung sowie einfachen Zugang zu Museen und dem Botschaftsviertel. Das Begrüßungsgetränk ist frisch gepresster Mangosaft, der besonders reichhaltig und mild ist. Die hölzerne Schlüsselkarte ist etwas ganz Besonderes (bereits abgeholt), die Hoteleinrichtungen sind sehr neu und ein Bad in der Badewanne lindert die Müdigkeit des ersten Reisetages. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf ein goldenes Zimmer mit All-you-can-eat-Minibar, Blick auf den Nil und die Aussicht bei Nacht war einfach in Ordnung (immer noch nicht vergleichbar mit Shanghai, Chongqing usw.). Der Frühstückspreis für den nächsten Tag kann in ägyptischen Pfund bezahlt werden, was weniger als 100 Yuan pro Person ist, was ein gutes Geschäft ist. Es ist einfach ein bisschen nervig, unten eine Party zu veranstalten und mitten in der Nacht eine halbe Stunde lang Schlagzeug zu spielen."

"Stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in I asked the man at the reception if anything else was needed as normally a deposit would be taken. Was told that everything was fine. On the 2nd night we decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the lobby. Food was not prepared as I requested as I ordered steak. The waiter insisted that I sliced through the middle to check it as I ordered medium rare. He agreed that it was overcooked. Took it back and said that they would prepare another order. However, 5minutes later he sent the same steak back to me and mentioned that they checked under proper lighting and it was cooked properly. It was very obvious that it was definitely overcooked and dry. I just accepted it and couldn’t be bothered. Mind you the fries that came with the steak was over fried and hard as rock. I didn’t even eat another piece after trying it. Halfway through chewing on the hard and dry steak. The waiter decided to come back again and ask if everything was fine and if I didn’t like it they could cook me another piece. This was just frustrating and I didn’t want to wait anymore as it was late and I was tired from a full day tour. Finally finished my dinner and asked for the bill. I signed it to the room. The waiter comes back and tells me that I didn’t put a deposit in the room so I had to pay. Mind you I brought no cards or cash since I expected that I could bill to the room. One of us ended up going back to the room to take money to pay for the meal which was embarrassing and unacceptable for our standards. We were staying for 4 nights. On our last night of stay, we came back to the hotel and we were locked out of the room. Had to go back to reception and found out that the person who checked us in didn’t put the correct number of nights. This was truly a disgrace on Waldorf and the receptionist.  Obviously your staff at the check in need more training. I have stayed in many international hotels around the world and never face such lowly trained staff at reception that make such mistakes which spoils the image of the hotel.  However, I have to give a huge shoutout to a few people that made my days great. Menna and Apeeo from breakfast were wonderful. Impeccable service from them. However, male staffs showed poor knowledge and were quite lazy as they were more interested in chatting that serving customers. Bellman Sherif was wonderful helping us check out with our luggages and even waited with us for our transport."

"Das Hotel liegt am Neil, die Landschaft ist wunderschön und der Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Das Restaurant im Hotel, das Einkaufszentrum, der Pool ist sehr gut. Besonders zufrieden, ich mag das vier-Saison-Hotel. Es gibt auch ein Boots-Restaurant, das nicht teuer ist, Qualität ist erstklassig."

"We stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot."

"Das Hotel ist sehr gut, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, man kann aus dem Fenster den Nil sehen. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse bietet Aussicht auf den Nil. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es gibt eine asiatische Abteilung, die aus geschmortem Rindfleisch und Curry-Hähnchen bestehen sollte. Die Sicherheitskontrolle an der Tür ist etwas ganz Besonderes."

"Alles war perfekt, außer dass es keine Einwegzahnbürsten und Zahnpasta gab, was wirklich enttäuschend war. Wenn der Service auf einer Skala von fünf Sternen zu bewerten wäre, würde ich sechs Sterne geben. Viele kleine Details vermitteln ein sehr hohes Niveau. Eine weitere erwähnenswerte Sache ist, dass die Restaurantoptionen sehr vielfältig sind, aber kein Alkohol angeboten wird? Das ist wirklich überraschend."
