Hostels in Kairo

Das Hotel liegt etwas versteckt, nicht an der Hauptstraße. Taxis können nur draußen parken und müssen hinein. Auch die Tür ist relativ klein. Der Aufzug des Hotels ist ziemlich einzigartig, er fühlt sich ziemlich antik an und macht ziemlich viel Spaß. Der Raum ist relativ groß, aber die Aufteilung ist unzumutbar. Das Badewasser ist nicht sehr groß, außerdem sind Toilette und Badezimmer zusammen und es fühlt sich nach dem Baden sehr kalt an.

Alles war perfekt, die Unterkunft ist wunderbar, das Personal ist äußerst nett. Wir haben aufgrund unserer Last-Minute-Buchung in mehreren Zimmern übernachtet, von Mehrbettzimmern bis hin zu Privatzimmern, aber alle Zimmer waren ein toller Aufenthalt. Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe, das ist echter Gastgebergeist.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Stadtzentrum, in der Nähe des Ägyptischen Museums. Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das berühmte Koshary Abu Tarek ist nur 6 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind gut gepflegt. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Gäste aller Altersgruppen und Nationalitäten sind willkommen. Verbesserungsvorschläge: 1. Handtücher sollten beim Check-in und nicht erst auf Anfrage ausgegeben werden. 2. Der Aufzug muss modernisiert werden. Ich war schon oft im Aufzug eingeschlossen, wenn der Strom ausgefallen war. Außerdem funktionierte er häufig nicht, weil die Aufzugstür nicht richtig geschlossen war. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Aufzug nicht von Ihrem Hostel betrieben wird. Wenden Sie sich bitte an den Gebäudeeigentümer, da die aktuelle Situation nicht akzeptabel ist. 3. Erwägen Sie die Installation einer zentralen Klimaanlage. Jeder kann die Klimaanlage abschalten und dadurch andere Gäste stören.

Es liegt in der Altstadt von Kairo, nur zwei Schritte entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem älteren Gebäude, das mich an meine früheren Tage in Wuhan erinnert Die Atmosphäre im gesamten Hotel ist sehr, sehr, sehr enthusiastisch. Die Theke ist sehr klein und es liegen Münzen aus verschiedenen Ländern auf dem Tisch. Man kann beim Kellner US-Dollar in echte Pfund umtauschen -Zeit-Wechselkurs. Der Boden ist sehr hoch, der Aufzug ist besorgniserregender. Es gibt eine Klapptür im Inneren. Sie sind alle dünn und haben Angst vor Menschen. Morgens gibt es Frühstück, aber es ist etwas ungewohnt. Wenn Sie an einer Unterkunft interessiert sind, gibt es keine großen Anforderungen, Sie können schlafen und duschen Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hier sehr hoch. Our experience was GREAT. It is ranked as a hostel but it felt like a hotel. Private room was spacious with bed, sofa, wardrobe and private bathroom. Very clean. And the staff was beyond kind, a young team running the place both profesional and close. A special thanks to Wafaa, Asmaa and Ala - they made our trip to Cairo very special and if we return, it will be to the same place

The hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum, The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean. The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them ** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn. Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

Ausgezeichnete Lage in der Nähe des Tahrir Square / Ägypten Museum und der Sadat Metro Station. Personal war besonders ausgezeichnet der Manager Mr Ahmed Empfangsmitglied Alaa und Haus Azze. Frühstück war gut. 7 Stock Rezeption und Gemeindelounge auf der oberen Etage. Während wir dort waren, wurde ich ins Krankenhaus aufgenommen, sie über meine Frau und Freund, die auch im Hotel wohnte, jeden Tag überprüft mich. Warm willkommen zurück, wenn ich wiederhergestellt bin. Rund 20 bis 30 Minuten Autofahrt nach GEM und dem Giza Plateau / Pyramiden und Sphinx. Etwa 45 Minuten bis zu einer Stunde Fahrt auf den Flughäfen Sphinx und Cairo
