YYong RI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s one of the best hotels at reasonable price in Taishan. Located right at the busiest shopping mall in the city centre. Definitely recommend it for business and family travellers!

GGastnutzerWe really enjoyed staying at the Mandarin Elegant Hotel in Taicheng. It was very convenient to have the bus from Hong Kong stop there. The staff was very friendly and attentive, doing their best to make our stay a pleasure one. The rooms are clean and spacious, with high tech features for lighting and bathroom. The food at the restaurant excellent as well. Highly recommended. Truly a home away from home. We got to know the staff during our stay. Helpful if you know some Chinese.

Great, a few minor questions but was very smooth experience and process. Friendly check-in procedure and follow-up.
2. Restaurant
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to have breakfast, but hopefully next time.
3. Rooms
Very clean rooms and well prepared. The cleaners did a great job too.
4. Air Con and Amenities in the Room
Temperature controlled remote and good basic amenities for stay which is refilled during daily cleaning procedure when asked.
5. Laundry
They have a self-service laundry, which is very good and helpful. They even provide small amount of detergents for cleaner clothes.
The bonus is also the dryer machine that comes with it.
6. Check-out
Very quick and smooth.
7. Location
Good location which is near local shopping small if you want to do some small shopping or have a quick bite or tea/coffee break.
Feedback / Improvements for attracting more foreigners (Tourists) / Businesses (My opinion)
1. Basic/Simple English in front-desk would be helpful, but not important.
2. Translation on Laundry Instructions (self-service) can be helpful or pre-recorded video to help elderly or first-time visitors the correct procedures.
3. Restaurants to open not only for breakfast but option for different hours (such as afternoon/evening) but for short duration ordering time-period. Even though location is superb for local shopping mall, it would be great to experience afternoon/evening meal in the hotel and/or in-room dining services in the future (if it becomes popular).
4. Ironing board. There is a self service ironing but can be helpful to have an ironing board within the room, especially great experience with washing and drying clothes. However ironing clothes individually requires time and the ironing which is shared in the communal area can be time consuming if it is popular in demand during the time of use.
Overall, definitely superb hotel for the price and cleanliness. There is room for improvements but nevertheless, the experience and my stay there was nice.

GGastnutzerThis stay was very average. First, I waited more than 5mins with a toddler to check in. Also, someone pushed in the line just before it was my turn and the staff didn’t serve me first. Then a lady served me and gave me a free upgrade to apologise for the long wait - she’s great. After showing my toddler, we realise the shower area is a bit small and hard to wash the little with 2people in it. I went to reception and asked if there are similar rooms with bigger shower area. The first sentence the receptionist said was “This is still small?”, then told me there’s no rooms with bigger shower area - not professional and not helpful. Next morning the manager rang me and want to help me find another room. She was very patient and helpful. We got a room that we’re happy with. Then a day after while I was looking for my toddler’s toy, I found a slipper and a paper at the bottom of the couch from previous people :( The hotel really need to work on the non smoking policy, I can smell fresh ciggy smells on my level and my husband even saw people smoking in the hotel and the elevator.

LLilcccI recently returned to my hometown for a visit and stayed at Meisi Park, and I cannot recommend it enough! As a solo traveler, I was looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet yet accessible area. It’s just a 10-minute drive to the charming old town, where I spent hours exploring nostalgic spots, and the same distance to a modern shopping mall for some retail therapy. Whether you’re into history or shopping, the location is ideal.
The staff here truly made my stay special. They were not only warm and welcoming but also went above and beyond to recommend great local places to visit. Their insider tips helped me discover hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. It felt like having a personal guide!
Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here—my room was immaculate. The bedding deserves a special shoutout: the mattress was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and high-quality, and the pillows felt like clouds. I slept like a baby every night, which is rare when traveling!
The amenities at this hotel are incredible, especially considering the price. The common area had a washer, dryer, and steamer, which made packing light and staying fresh a breeze. The in-room elliptical machine was a fantastic touch, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine without leaving my room. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The area around the hotel is peaceful and serene, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Despite being so quiet, it’s incredibly convenient to get around, whether by car or public transport.
All of these for under $50 a night?! I couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was for such high-quality accommodations. It’s rare to find a place that offers so much at such an affordable rate.
