Ich würde diesem Hotel 3 Sterne geben (neutral). Das Essen war gut, der Außenbereich zum Essen war gemütlich, und ich bekam bei der Abreise ein Souvenir. Für ein Hotel in einer Stadt der vierten Kategorie mit einem Preis von über 700 RMB deutet eine hohe Bewertung von 4,9 jedoch auf ein insgesamt weit unter den Erwartungen liegendes Erlebnis hin. Erstens war es das erste Mal, dass ich einen so hohen Zimmerpreis hatte und trotzdem keinen persönlichen Concierge-Service vorweisen konnte. Niemand kontaktierte mich über WeChat, und es gab kein Telefon im Zimmer; ich musste zur Rezeption im Erdgeschoss gehen, um einen Mitarbeiter zu finden. Bei meiner Ankunft half mir kein Mitarbeiter proaktiv mit meinem Gepäck aufs Zimmer. Als ich Karauschen bestellte, wurde mir dies immer wieder verweigert; stattdessen wurde mir Karauschenreis empfohlen. Die Rezeptionistin war ziemlich forsch. Zweitens habe ich schlecht geschlafen. Ich hatte mir eine ruhige, ländliche Umgebung erhofft, wurde aber um 8 Uhr morgens vom Lärm von Bohrarbeiten auf einer Baustelle in der Nähe des Hotels geweckt, was meine Entspannung völlig zerstörte. Ich sprach den Mann am Teetisch darauf an, der anscheinend der Besitzer war, doch er antwortete nur oberflächlich und ging. Sein Umgang mit den Gästen war ziemlich kühl. Das Taro zum Frühstück war verdorben! Da es kein Gerät zum Warmhalten des Buffets gab, wurde alles auf normalen Tellern serviert. Man verlangte sogar von den Gästen, beim Essen Masken zu tragen und erwartete, dass sie sich mit den unzureichenden Einrichtungen abfinden! Schließlich war auch das Auschecken enttäuschend. Ich hatte geplant, um 11:30 Uhr im Restaurant zu essen und wollte gerade bestellen, als mir die Dame an der Rezeption mitteilte, dass ich vor 12:30 Uhr auschecken müsse. Daraufhin verzichtete ich kurzerhand auf das Mittagessen. Mit über 700 RMB ist der Preis für Kaiping ohnehin schon recht hoch, aber die Servicequalität und die Unterkunft entsprachen dem in keiner Weise. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war schlecht, und ich werde hier definitiv nicht wieder übernachten. Nächstes Mal probiere ich das Lazy Cat.

This is a beautiful homestay in the middle of an ancient village and close to the main road. If you do not want to walk, they have a rental bike. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English, Google Translate has helped. They serve a beautiful table service breakfast. Like most farm homestays in China. They do not have a restaurant. But there is a big one in the next village, and it is walkable. Otherwise, the main square will be 10 minutes away by (DiDI) taxi. The homestay is a renovated Diaolou built over 100 years ago. The stairs were shallow and steep because it is the originals. You can read about their beautiful and extraordinary transformation on the wall of the beautiful Lobby. The room was beautifully furnished, and the A/C and WiFi work beautifully, especially in Southern China. The humidity could be unbearable, which is a big plus. The shower was large and clean, with plenty of hot water. There were also a lot of outside areas. Some rooms also include a private patio and balcony. The amenities were first class: a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Kaiping. I will be back again. Book fast. I am sure most travelers will find out about this gem soon.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, der Chef ist enthusiastisch, kann kochen, wohnt im 19. Stock, hat einzelne Wäsche, aber das große Bett ist nicht sehr flach.

I had a very comfortable stay at Mandarin Elegant Hotel. The hotel has all the amenities a traveller would need. It is also near to the newest mall in the city and next to a river with beautiful walking paths. The staff were attentive and personable. Special call out to 熊管家 and 赵经理 who answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The service by all hotel staff is impeccable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Tai Shan city.

We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance. 

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und bietet einen schönen und geräumigen Raum mit einem Balkon! Ich blieb hier für eine Familienverheiratet, die im Hotel gehostet wurde. Mein Zimmer war riesig und unverschämt, und ich genossen, auf meinem eigenen ruhigen Patio zu sitzen, bevor die Feiern begannen. Mein Nachmittags-Kaffee und Snack im Lobby-Café waren lecker. Alle waren sehr freundlich und professionell, und auch die Mädels begrüßten mich im Halle. Ich bestellte mein Frühstück zu gehen, und es war denkend verpackt und wartete auf mich am Morgen am Vordertisch. Ich bin so froh, ein so schönes Hotel in Taishan City zu finden. Ich fühlte mich gut betreut. Vielen Dank!

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making. Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

Chosen this hotel for its location which is located inside the Chikan resort. In terms of a hotel standard, very limited amenities. I believe the 2 blocks of propertylies used to be the hotel employees’ hostel as the setup equipped with 2 units of study table placed side by side, 2 units of super single bed, big balcony for laundry & 2 units of wardrobe. As i saw opposite ours there are properties, 3 blocks of the same properties are occupying by their hotel employees & seeing all their laundry hanging at the balcony. Anyway, they converted 2 blocks which have better view to rent out. Good idea for business income & the colour & multiple rooms given me the impression of the famous squid game.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by its unique and farm house style design. It wasn't your typical cookie-cutter hotel, and that's exactly what I loved. The peaceful environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and providing to-the-point service – no fuss, just what I needed. A huge plus was the hotel's location. Being within walking distance of so many attractions made exploring a breeze. And when I got hungry, the abundance of great food options nearby was the cherry on top. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It's in rural area and rides may not be to easy to get after 10pm. If you plan to return late to the hotel, be sure to know how to contact the hotel just in case the front desk is closed. Sorry to wake you at the middle of night boss lady!

Die Wasserqualität ist wirklich gut, es gibt keinen Geschmack. Die Suite hat einen Wohnzimmer und einen Balkon, es ist kein öffentlicher Pool. Das Hotel ist gut grüner und Fotos sind sehr groß. Das Evangelium der Feindseligkeiten. Nahe Taipei, es ist einfach zu essen und zu trinken. Insgesamt ist es sehr zufrieden, der gute Ort für das Laden des Wochenendes.
