1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian.
2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening.
3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging.
4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available)
5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well.
6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

11881068****Die Lage und Hardwareausstattung des gesamten Hotels ist sehr gut. Es gibt zwei Mängel. Erstens ist die Auswahl an westlichen Speisen nicht reichhaltig und auch der Geschmack des chinesischen Essens ist unbefriedigend. Das zweite ist, dass es in der Hotelleitung große Probleme gibt, von den Kellnern bis zu den Restaurantköchen, jeder erscheint dort, wo er erscheinen sollte, und ihre Leistung ist akzeptabel, aber zusammen fühlen sie sich unkoordiniert. Das ist nicht das Problem des Kellners, sondern sollte das Problem des Managements sein.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, es ist sehr praktisch, vom Hotel aus das Meer zu sehen (es hat geregnet und ich habe den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang nicht gesehen). Viele Aktivitäten im Hotel (hauptsächlich Eltern-Kind-Aktivitäten). Sie können auch nachts vor der Tür Entdeckungen machen.
Das Hotel ist sehr einzigartig, hat viele Musikelemente und auch das Aufenthaltserlebnis ist gut. Die Rezeption und das Servicecenter haben das Problem zeitnah gelöst und die Kommunikationsergebnisse waren durchaus zufriedenstellend.
Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Frühstück.

SSeanchorEs ist ein seltenes rein europäisches Schlosshotel mit einer sehr guten Lage, nur einen Steinwurf vom Xinghai-Platz entfernt. Es ist sehr praktisch zum Essen und Reisen und es gibt spezielle Autos, die Sie den Berg hinauf und hinunter bringen. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick liegt gegenüber der Überseebrücke und die Aussicht ist wirklich atemberaubend. Die Innenausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber insgesamt ok. Der Service ist herzlich und aufmerksam. Die Lobby ist großartig und beeindruckend. Außerdem gibt es nachmittags interaktive Aufführungen für Kinder. In der Lobby gibt es mehrere Aufzüge und man kann sich leicht verlaufen. Die Qualität des Frühstücks ist durchschnittlich, bis auf den hohen Preis ist alles andere zufriedenstellend.

Ich habe angerufen, um eine Reservierung vorzunehmen, und tatsächlich war der Abhol- und Bringservice bereits vorbei Meine Schwester war jedoch sehr zuverlässig und hat die Reservierung trotzdem für mich vorgenommen.
Ich war überrascht, als ich vom Flughafen abgeholt wurde. Der kleine Geschäftswagen war sauber und ordentlich und pünktlich. Der Fahrer half auch mit dem Gepäck.
Es war spät, als wir im Hotel ankamen. Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war ziemlich reichhaltig. Der Preis von RMB 100+ war ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Service war so gut, dass er mein Geld verdoppelte Eindruck von Dalian.
Ich möchte meine Nachtschichtschwester an der Rezeption für ihre Geduld, Aufmerksamkeit und Zuverlässigkeit loben. Vielen Dank, dass Sie mir geholfen haben, um drei Uhr morgens scharf-saure Nudeln zuzubereiten. Ich wünsche Ihnen, dass alles immer besser wird.

GGastnutzerWe stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money.
The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill.
We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA.
Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. We recommend Chinese and foreigners to stay at the Shan Shui S Hotel when visiting Dalian. It made our trip to the beautiful, friendly city of Dalian memorable.

22026kingoftheworldI arrived in Dalian quite late in the evening and had arranged an airport shuttle through the hotel. However, I wasn’t given clear instructions on where to meet it. I noticed a bus waiting in the airport parking lot, but since the hotel’s shuttle buses lack any identifying markings and no one was holding a sign, I couldn’t tell if it was the one for me. Not speaking Chinese, I felt too hesitant to approach the driver to ask. Looking back, I’m fairly sure it was the shuttle I had booked, but it ended up leaving without me. Luckily, it wasn’t a big issue since the hotel is only about a five-minute walk from the airport. I had booked the shuttle based on a review mentioning that crossing the road in front of the hotel could be dangerous. However, I found there’s actually a crosswalk just a little further down the street, so crossing is manageable with some caution. Other than that, my experience was pleasant overall. The front desk staff spoke English fairly well. The room was large but a bit rough around the edges, with some noticeable stains on the walls. Breakfast was decent, and considering the price and the hotel’s proximity to the airport, it was good value. The hotel also schedules regular shuttle buses back to the airport, but there are plenty of taxis in the area if you need to leave immediately, or you can simply walk.

Hotel staff were very good and helpful. At front desk no.8 front desk girl give us all support during our stay. Hotel was located at the city center with all shopping and attractions with in 10 minutes drive. We love to stay here again. It was so comfortable and pleasant stay

TtjpigDieses Mal habe ich ein Familienzimmer gebucht und war sofort zufrieden, als ich eintrat. Es hat ein Doraemon-Thema. Dann zeigte er auf die Tür neben ihm und sagte: Das nächste Mal werde ich bei Peppa Pig übernachten. . . Jedes Mal, wenn ich zuvor ins Discovery Kingdom kam, übernachtete ich direkt im Hilton. Dieses Mal dachte ich plötzlich an diesen Ort, an dem ich nicht erwartet hatte, dass es neben der Art von Zimmer, in dem ich vorher übernachtet hatte, auch ein so schönes Familienzimmer gab. Der Clou ist, dass es sich im zweiten Stock befindet. Hier kann man bequem im Wasser spielen, essen und baden, ohne weit laufen zu müssen.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is in a very convenient location and is a great landing point. Zhongshan square is a very nice area with a lot of activities and easy subway and connecting bus stations.
The room itself, however, had very dirty walls (you can see if you zoom in) and had a terrible smell. The sheets on the bed were very clean. The bathroom was in dire need of being remodeled.
The staff were very friendly and nice and gave me great advice for things to do. I appreciated their help.
