Sonder Quintinie

After reading some of the reviews we were a bit nervous but the room was gorgeous and spotless. The staff were very nice and accommodating to our requests. I would definitely go back. The location was also great.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Residence Quintine for 3 nights as part of our sightseeing and rugby trip. We met the owner Valerie who was so friendly and welcoming. Our room (103) suited us, though we didn't use the kitchenette facilities, the bathroom and shower were very nice. Although we had the room window open at night we didn't experience any undue exterior noise. The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the Volontaires Metro station and only around 25 mins walk from Denfert-Rochereau train station (fairly flattish walk, no steep gradients), which we used to get to/from CDG airport. Valerie is a mine of knowledge and has several recommendations for local restaurants (3 of which we tried and had a great experience in them all!). All in all, we really enjoyed staying at Hotel Residence Quintine, especially meeting Valerie and we will return next year when we're back for the world cup.

The location is very continent, easy to get to the subway, Carrefour, bakery and restaurants. The room is in good size and my room has the view to the park which is nice. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, makes you feel at home, I experienced Parisian life for a week.

For a European hotel room, good size and with a tiny kitchenette. However, realize that the business model is a lack of service so the desk was rarely staffed, you get a pass code for the doors and maid service is extra. But for a man traveling alone the price was right and I enjoyed the stay. Very nice bed and bedding and pillows. I would return.

We had a very disappointing check in experience which soured our entire stay. The website mentions that luggage storage is available but what they neglect to mention is that there is space for about six bags which means that they storage becomes full vert quickly. We arrived at about 1:30 pm and luggage storage was full and there was no staff on site (heads up - front desk staff is only on site from 3:30 pm - 8 am). We had been travelling overnight and were exhausted. We chatted in over the app and called the phone number and the only solution we were offered was to walk (with our bags) 20 minutes away and pay to store them at a different location. Or we could wait in the lobby (the lobby is, essentially, a hallway with two wooden chairs). This was a disappointing start to a very important and special trip. Aside from the check in experience, here are the pros and cons... Pros - The rooms have been recently redone and are very clean and modern - The beds are comfortable (although very firm) - The fridge in the kitchenette was a good size - It is located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood Cons - The showers are very small - it was difficult to raise my arms to wash my hair - There were not enough outlets in the room to charge mobile devices - There is no where to unpack your clothes (no dresser) - There was no elevator to our rooms so we had to lug our bags up the stairs - Housekeeping is an extra expense (25 euros/day) Basically, our experience with Sonder is that they are trying to be a hotel/Air BnB hybrid. The hands off check in experience (similar to what you get at an Air BnB) made it feel very impersonal and didn't make us feel like valued guests. We also reached out to the hotel after returning home and were basically told 'We're sorry about your experience...we hope to host you again to show you a better experience." ＜- This is an excellent example of their level of service, they're very polite and courteous but offer no real solutions or guest service recovery efforts.

I booked a room for a quick solo trip and it absolutely did not disappoint! It was perfectly clean and comfortable. My room had a little balcony where I could enjoy my morning coffee. The staff were very nice and helpful, I had a late flight out so the luggage storage was very helpful.

Brand new Sonder hotel in the 15th district of Paris. The location is great: not too touristy but you can get everything you may need within a 5-min walk. Our room was super clean and nicely furnished. Great shades! The luggage storage is a big plus.

The two ladies at the front desk were so kind, helpful & amazing! The rooms are small but quaint. We slept with the windows open the entire stay. Weather was amazing. Such a great place to stay! Very comfortable

Quaint hotel, not mainstream at all. Staff were vere friendly and helpful. A real pleasure to stay there
