We had an amazing trip and stay at Prince de Galles. The location is superb. The staff was great. The room was beautiful with a large, luxurious bathroom. We used the weight room and the hotel dining, both I would suggest. I would happily stay there again.

I had a pleasure to visit the Restaurant & Bar 19.20 by Norbert Tarayre. Please find below some recollections: - wait 5-7 minutes for the hosts to find their way to and from the cloak room - it took 20-30 min for the waiter/bartender to figure out that the desired aperitif is not available - the thinnest wine list that side of The Channel - escargots (all 3 of them) were delicious - further wait - 30 min - a second starter (on the house, thank you, nice touch) arrived as an excuse for the wait - the main course: carré d’agneau was tender yet smelled old, very old lamb. No one told the chef how to deal with this odour I guess. Chef de service: 8/10 Waiter: 4/10 Kitchen/chef: 3/10 Management: 1/10

I stayed at the St. Regis Hotel Corniche in Abu Dhabi for one week end of February. First off, the hotel itself is a sight to behold. Walking in, you're greeted by this impressive building and super friendly staff. Check-in was a bit slow, but all good. The room was wonderful. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, with a great view over Abu Dhabi. Biggest plus of this hotel is the spa. The treatments were top-notch, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks also to the butler service. They were always there when I needed something, whether it was booking a dinner reservation or just making sure my room was perfect. The only downside was the breakfast service. The waiting time for coffee was just too long. On some days they would even forget the order completely. The food was great though, but the slow service was a bit of a letdown. Overall though, the St. Regis Hotel Corniche is a top-notch spot for a luxurious getaway in Abu Dhabi. With its amazing spa, impeccable service, and stunning rooms, it's definitely worth a visit. Just maybe grab your coffee somewhere else in the morning!

Our family just checked in and the first thing is that they informed us there was no hot water which was communicated through the paper that they handed me. One of the front desks then told us to disregard it as the hot water would resume at 5:30pm. We got in the room waited until 7pm and still no hot water. Gave up and went out for dinner. Came back at 9pm and still no hot water. Called guest services and even the night manager but they don’t even have any idea when the hot water come back and would just blame the whole thing to the city of Paris and said there was nothing absolutely wrong with the hotel so there is nothing they can do. The room was also not having warm air and only blowing cold air. This is the winter in Paris and a 5 star hotel like this has zero hot water and hot air. My wife needed to boil hot water to use it the sink and the bath room. After complaning about the AC not having hot air, they sent technical team up and they brought up a single portal heater which is supposed to heat up the entire suite and again, they blamed it on the city. Even the handheld phone doesn’t work. After sending two technicians up, the solution for me is just to use speaker phone instead of using the handheld and sit there to use it. We gave up as again there was no point of being frustrated to all the technicians as they tried hard themselves. The hotel may need a big step up. Perhaps it was just that we were very unlucky to arrive to experienceall of this.

If you're looking for the finest customer service in Paris, the Prince de Galles is your spot. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite, well meaning, and attentive to our every concern. Their concierge team was especially helpful and are highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Comfortably appointed and have timelessly elegant finishes. There is a lovely courtyard that is part of the bar 19.20 where you can sip cocktails and enjoy a cigarette. The unfortunate side effect of this is that if you have a courtyard facing room and you open your window, the cigarette smoke (or at least the smell) will diffuse into your room. Our suite temp would go below 22 C without opening the windows, so we were forced to choose the strong smell of smoke throughout the room or an uncomfortable sleeping temp. Not a choice you should have to make at $800+/night. Most buildings in Paris are older (it adds to the charm), but those older buildings are not built with insulation between rooms. This hotel is no exception. Unfortunately, the rooms are built with doorbells and hydraulic door closers. When one of the hotel staff rings a doorbell in an adjacent suite, it is extremely loud. Same with slamming doors. A neighboring guest ordered room service at 2:30 AM a couple nights during our stay and we were jarred awake by the doorbell and slamming of the door each time. Overall, if you have an exterior room with no guests around you, it's 5/5. That was not our situation though. Would be inclined to return for the service, but probably wouldn't due to the infrastructural issues

We are currently at the hotel and Aircon doesn’t work properly and to with no volume on some channels and the excuse is it’s a satellite issue and the hotel does experience Aircon issues open the window if you want To start upon arrival we weee offered an upgrade which never materialised as the guest stayed longer upon check out We settled for our original booking which was told to us that the room was ready again waited for a long time Eventually after room was given to us we confirmed that it’s a king size bed art deco room which I originally booked but was lied to when we got to the room-it was a queen bed Eventually after asking to speak to the Gm which as well is a very difficult task for staff to get hold of the Gm as per the reception staff only managers can get hold of managers After I requested to leave the hotel I then get a call from the duty manager to ask if could assist with anything and I requested to speak to the Gm and his reply was only on Monday The Aircon still is not blowing properly and is still not cooling the room and the tv volume is still not working And the most disgusting thing about the hotel is the hygiene and cleanliness of this establishment as a very unsavoury hair was found on the towel that’s folded in the bathroom picture attached Called guest services to report to manager on duty to show but still awaiting his call back or his visit to the room I’ve booked for this hotel for 3 nights but feel like running away now Waiting for the manager on duty to call let’s wait !!!!!

The Prince De Galles is in an excellent location and it is an extremely well managed hotel with a friendly and professional staff. The room was nicely decorated with good amenities and very clean. This is a very nice hotel overall and our experience was very satisfying

Well located hotel in Paris with high end service and guest care. The room is rather large and well equipped with a fancy bathroom. From check-in to departure, very happy with the support. An upgrade as gold member to Marriot would have been appreciated, there was availability; but ok pass on that. The breakfast was amazing but rather expensive and there the waiter was a bit arrogant and not proactive enough. More care needed there to serve and welcome guests in a more professional way. The gym is nice and the Spa could be more welcoming. The massage session was great though, thanks for that. However the bathrobe could be nicer (poor quality), it was cold in the changing room and it was not smelling good. Strange in such a place. I think there is a need to refine this with more care. It should feel more cosy, warm and welcoming with nice dofts. Did not try the restaurants.

Unfortunately, our check in process was terrible. We had traveled all day and did not expect our rooms to be ready when we got there at noon so booked a tour and came back around 4:30pm. When we came at noon the person at the front desk told us she didn't know when our rooms would be ready because the family in them had a late check out. We did not need to be in the rooms until 4:30 so we didn't worry about it. when we returned at 4:30 the rooms were still not ready and we were told there was nothing they could do, the rooms just weren't ready. This is a 5 star hotel which charges 5 star hotel prices... check in is at 3pm. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed at numerous luxury hotels and have never had such a terrible experience. Not only were the staff unhelpful but the service for breakfast was equally bad. Cream for the coffee never came, the orders were not taken properly and we were overcharged both mornings. Overall we were very disappointed in our stay. The only very friendly staff was the doorman.

Rooms are amazing. Comfortable beds. Great sheets. Well appointed. Housekeeping was top notch. Breakfast was terrible. With the exception of Louis - who is wonderful, efficient and attentive, the service in the restaurant for breakfast was truly terrible. On the several days we did not have Louis as our waiter, we had to ask for everything multiple times, did not receive the items that were meant to be part of our breakfast, were served the wrong items, and were basically ignored. There are very limited options on the menu and not much to the breakfast generally. Yet it was utterly inefficient. The food is fine, not great. For such a truly lovely hotel, the breakfast is incongruent with the rest of the experience. Needs a total overhaul.

We stayed in the Prince de Galles the last three. The stay was great. The suite was spacious, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Realizing this is not a guarantee until 3pm, my only gripe was the room was not ready until 2pm - even though I requested early check in (we arrived at 9am). They allowed us to shower in the gym which was not ideal but worked. I was actually a bit under the weather and they brought be some detox soup by way of room service in the evening. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Spent 3 nights at the Prince de Galles last week (early December).  Used SNAs and was upgraded to a very large Macassar suite 5 days before arrival.  We were on the 1st floor (one up from the ground) with a view of George V.  No issues with noise from the street or adjoining rooms.  The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very professional and attentive.  Breakfast (complimentary for Titanium) was surprisingly good both in quality and variety, and the service was excellent.  The gym was also very nice.

Just returned from the most perfect trip to the Prince de Galles. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at this wonderful hotel. One month before we arrived the amazing concierge was making sure we secured dinner reservations at some of the most desirable restaurants in the city. They also arranged all our airport transfers and car service to Versailles. The drivers and vehicles were top notch. Check in was seamless and early check in was a delightful and unexpected surprise after a long overnight flight. The rooms are perfectly appointed. Beds are comfortable. Loved the bathrooms. Bonus points for Frette robes & slippers. We got to know all of the bellmen. They were so warm and friendly and you can tell they truly enjoy their jobs. We were in the city to Christmas shop and enjoyed having many packages delivered to the hotel. This added an additional sense of security to our trip. If you stay on a Sunday, do not miss the brunch. It is absolutely wonderful. Lastly, we LOVED having a cocktail every evening at the bar with Loveness. He has such a warm heart, makes amazing cocktails and was such a bright spot for us everyday. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so very special.
