Wer seine Sehnsucht nach Palermo stillen möchte oder auch zum ersten Mal hinfährt und dazu die Vorzüge einer angenehmen und preiswerten Unterkunft inklusive effizienter und zuvorkommender Kommunikation genießen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in der Stadt, meine Freundin zum ersten Mal, ich seit langem mal wieder. Via Maqueda ist inzwischen Fußgängerzone geworden. Die Lage ist perfekt, zwischen teatro massino, dem Tor zum capo und dem Wohnzimmer von Palermo. An der Unterkunft hat uns gefallen, dass die Einrichtung nicht unpersönlich war und dass wir ein echtes Bett hatten. Alles war sehr ordentlich und sauber, das Badezimmer über den Flur mit inbegriffen. Mit dem Frühstückmachen haben Luca und Mimma geduldig auf unsere Zeit gewartet. Danke euch tausend Mal! Siamo stati in città per un lungo weekend, la mia ragazza per la prima volta, io di nuovo per molto tempo. Via Maqueda è ormai diventata una zona pedonale. La location è perfetta, tra teatro massino, il cancello del capo e il salotto di Palermo. Quello che ci è piaciuto dell'alloggio è che l'arredamento non era impersonale e che avevamo un vero letto. Tutto era molto ordinato e pulito, compreso il bagno dall'altra parte del corridoio. Luca e Mimma hanno pazientemente aspettato la nostra ora per fare colazione. Grazie mille volte!

Arrived to find out Id booked the wrong yearId booked 2025!!Vanessa straight away said dont worry we will sort it they couldnt get us into Ai Vicere but managed to get us 1 night in their other accomodation Luca said he would work hard to get us accomodation for The Saturday night but would find it hard but not to worry, Vanessa gave us water and a map and told us all the hotspots to visit they brought our luggage to the other accomodation. We went sight seeing first to Teatro Massimo which is so close by worth a visit 35 min guided tour for €12. While we were enjoying Street Food in The Arab Market again close by Vanessa rang us to say they had a cancel for 2 nights we were so happy so Luca went and got our luggage from other accomodation and bring back to Ai Vicere we were so grateful for their caring professionalism. We enjoyed our stay lovely large room in a very historic building loved The Ripley Effect Lift like stepping back in time. Breakfast was lovely in the little terrace. Our 2nd Floor overlooked a Neighbourhood Garden loved it. Tranquil in the Middle of The City.

Ai Vicerè was in a fantastic central location , close to restaurants, markets, Teatro Massimo etc, public transport. .The facility was good with super comfortable beds and hot showers . Breakfast was amazing with an assortment of homemade pastries , scrambled eggs, fresh juice and tea and coffee . Our host Luca was very friendly and helpful and Vanessa who served our breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend , cheers, Ellie

We enjoyed the hotel. The people there were very nice and attentive. They were very helpful. The hotel is simple but comfortable. The wifi worked very well and we were able to work, watch movies and more. The breakfast was delicious! There was a problem with the electricity but it was an easy fix and the hotel staff was very nice about it.

What a wonderful stay we had at Ai Vicerè! It’s strategically located in an historic building (with a lift, the second oldest in Palermo) just a block from Teatro Massimo and minutes from Quattro Canto. The rooms are large, comfortable and authentically preserved. Luca is a welcoming host who speaks English fluently. The optional breakfast features traditional pastries and delicious cappuccinos. Ai Vicere should easily be rated three stars. I highly recommend it.

Spent a few days here while visiting family. Lovely rooms, comfortable and very clean. Great location for seeing Palermo. Most hospitable host, Luca, a great source of local information to make the most of your trip! Would be very happy to stay again!

Close to Teatro Massimo, Ai Viccere is a very good option to plan a great visit to Palermo. Luca, provides comfortable, warm and quiet rooms (or at least so was the one we stayed in), also a tasty breakfast with good sicilian pastry. Luca (the manager) knows the city well and filled us with many good tips: tours to walk the city beyond the touristic highlights, places to 'eat like a local' and for all prices, and all kind of ideas about how to move around. A great choice indeed.
